She shrugged slightly, as if in response to the puppy, then shifted her foot carefully to block him from charging as she noticed his puppy eyes swivel to Ellie. There would be no sabotage, and she turned her attention to the Ravenclaw herself. "Nice to see you so soon, Miss Stone," she said genially, leaning back against the desk. There was no reason to be on her guard, as they were in her territory now. "Did you get that letter sent out?"

She will not look down.

Nope.

She must resist.

Though, with the sounds she was hearing, it was getting harder. But, Ellie kept her guard and eyes up.

Letter....letter? "What letter?" She couldn't think of what Bishop meant. Not that she was trying very hard to think. She was very busy glaring and blocking the possibility of a cute animal being on the floor.
