“Keep in mind that there are actually quite a few different adaptations, so the cards could switch around. In general, they’ll keep the meanings, though, the cards just move around a little. Not to mention you can find variations that add an eleventh card, or even more,” she added, fingering the fabric in her hand before placing the package down on the desk yet again and letting it open to reveal a deck. “In that way, spreads like the three-card spread can be seen as easier. Not only is the number of cards established, but their meanings are pretty static. Past, present, future.” Which was why when she let them all go try to do readings, in a bit, she’d let them choose what spread they wanted to use. She had one last question for them, though, and she looked up again while running a finger delicately acroos the top of the deck of cards now on her desk. “The Celtic cross spread has one card that isn’t included in most other spreads, but can sometimes be considered one of the more important ones in a reading. That would be card number one, or the significator. Does anyone want to give me an answer as to what significance that card holds?”
To be honest, Patroclus had nothing.......

So to give himself time and a chance to think of something, the boy quickly but correctly copied down the Celtic Cross Diagram, labelling the cards as he went.

But that only took so long, so he thought it best just to give it ago, "Professor does The Significator, represent the person that the spread is about?" It was a stretch, but he thought he had read something, "The reader, has the person the spread is about, the querent select a card they find to relfect them."

Yes? No?
