Alex spotted a young girl talking to him and he flashed her a warm smile.
"Why yes of course." he said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"I'm Alex." he introduced himself extending his hand.

Feeling a hand on his shoulder he looked back at whoever disturbed his gloomy state of mind. Ah his partner. Alex instantly shone up at the sight of her.
"Em, hey." he smiled widely, losing the long face when he heard her call him partner.
"Me with a long face? Never." he chuckled and nudged her. Really, he was only depressed when he was alone. And he didn't want to tell Emma about his problems with the guy, the guy she knew and liked. Gulp.
"Nothing is the matter, probably sad because you weren't here." he pouted. Heh, really he instantly felt better with his partner in crime with him.
"What's up in the world of Emma Malfoy?" he asked leaning back against the tree again.
