Brief personality description : Josh is simply a mischievous, brave Gryffindor who inevitably inherited his mother's Ravenclaw brain. Yet while he is oblivious to his Ravenclaw sides, he is definitely not the kind of person to think much before act and he mostly relies on his never ending confidence and boldness to deal with things instead of his brains. He is also overly protective of the people around him and would always run for anyone's help without thinking for a moment that he might hurt himself. Physical pain is nothing for him while he can protect his friends and family so the boy's number one life purpose is to the protect the ones he loves.

Brief history : Joshua Carter was born to muggle Matthew Carter who works for muggle police and pureblood witch Amelia Carter who studies Herbology and Aritmancy and who was disinherited by her family for marrying a muggle. He was the happy couple's second child before his sister Rosa Carter died during an attack to their home by Amelia's enemies at her 17th age while trying to protect her brother. The brother and sister were alone in the home during the attack but hopefully the arrival of their family friend, Ryan Chambers, saved the boy before he could be taken by the dark wizards. After that day since he witnessed their home burning down, the effects of that were quite traumatic for the boy and he was psychologically disturbed so the parents decided to suspend his arrival to Hogwarts for a year during which he was treated by again Mr Chambers who is also a Psychologist.
