It was clear James had been doing something physical. Running mostly. Possibly causing a few explosions and things to happen, stuff to get whatever was bugging him out of his system.

Or partly out.

He burst into the dorm, pushing the door back hard enough that it CRACKED against the wall and the handle left a noticeable dent.

Jim ignored this and headed to his bed, kicked the trunk that was at the foot of it a few times until it opened in protest and pulled out a clean t-shirt.

He stripped his uniform shirt and tie off, along with the singlet he wore underneath and dropped them on the floor, ignoring the house elf that popped up and immediately scooped his discarded clothes up before disappearing with them to clean them, presumably.

He fished some jeans out of the trunk too and then headed off to the bathroom, jaw clenched.

He really didn't take all that long, never being one to waste time in the shower so it was only about 8 minutes later that James reappeared in the dorm, freshly showered, hair a little damp, clean clothes on, though he didn't bother shaving so there was a bit of scratchiness on his chin. A liiittle more relaxed.

Just a little.

He threw himself on his bed, looked one way and then the other and belatedly greeted his friends.

"Hey Finn, hey Ivan."
