Ruby slumped into the common room and plopped down on an empty couch. Within seconds of sitting down, she felt like the couch was trying to...eat her. Or so it seemed because she suddenly felt claustrophobic.
"Stupid, squishy couch," She murmured and pushed herself up a bit. Now she could survey her surroundings and make sure no one was staring. Because staring was rude and she would punch the first person who stared at her. 'Actually, she'd punch anyone who'd stare at her', she thought afterwards.
Her gaze turned to the fire that lit up the common room and suddenly she felt claustrophobic again, even though the couch wasn't eating her anymore.
"Why is everything so red in here?!" She thought. Snorting, she rested her head on the armrest and closed her eyes. But she wasn't sleeping.
