The clock has struck well past midnight in the UK, and now is January 9th, which marks Professor Severus Snape's birthday. Had Snape lived to see it (though sadly was murdered at the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on May 2, 1998 by Voldemort and Nagini), he would have celebrated his 51st birthday today!
