Catching up to do and whatnot..." she drifted off. Caught in her own thoughts she wondered if telling Sabel was the best idea. Or if telling Sabel in the common room was the best idea either.

Lexi's words drew him out of his thoughts slowly, a smile touching his lips until he saw the way she was hugging herself. Was she still shaken up? The guilt pricked at the corners of his mind again, and he did his best to pay it little attention; doing so would just bring the event up again in conversation and they seemed to have decided to move past it.

Nodding, he pushed himself away from the wall and wrapped his arm around her, rubbing her upper arm as he started towards the common room with her. "We haven't done that," without ending up in some sort of argument, "in a long time."
