After Angelina got discharged from St. Mungos there was hardly a day that Mrs. Weasley was not at their home, doting over the new baby. Of course she had to split her time between her other sons and daughter as well, but most of her time was spent at George and Angelina’s. Everyone kept saying how much the baby looked like George, but Ange and George both knew that it was Fred that he looked like. Even his head stuck up in the back like Fred’s did, though his hair was curlier.
Despite the joy that baby Fred brought to the lives of his parents Angelina was still icy towards George. She could not get over what she had seen in the papers, no matter how hard George tried to explain himself. It was so bad that George had to sleep in a separate room. It went on like that for two weeks before George asked katie and Alicia to talk to her.

Angelina had finally gotten Freddie off to sleep for his afternoon nap when there was a knock at the door. She wasn’t really expecting anyone so she was quite puzzled as to who it could be. She opened the door and saw her two bestfriends standing there, grinning from ear to ear.
“Where is our favourite little Weasley?” Katie asked, beaming. Angelina stepped aside so her friends could enter.
“We come bearing gifts.” Alicia added, holding up bags of baby stuff.
“You guys are going to spoil him rotten. He’s asleep in the nursery.”
“Aww pooey, and I was hoping to see his little face light up when he get’s Auntie Katie’s gifts.”
Angelina plopped down unto the couch and looked at her friends. She knew them too well to believe that they just decided, randomly, to leave work and go baby shopping instead of spending their lunch break eating and gossiping.
“So you guys didn’t drop in to leave gifts for Freddie. Why are you really here?” She folded her arms and looked at them both. Katie and Alicia both looked at each other before sighing. Angelina could read them like a book.
“Okay fine. We need to talk to you about what you saw in the prophet.” Alicia answered. The both plopped down on either side of her.“Look Ange, we know Carmen. She adds the B to itch and we see her at work, when she comes into the head office.”
“Which is almost everyday.” Alicia added. Katie looked at her and then continued.
“She’s always throwing herself at George and making what she thinks is sexy eyes but you know George Ange. He’s all business when he’s in the office and I’ve never seen him flirt with her, not once.”
“But the prophet said--”
“Screw the Prophet Ange. Half the time the stuff they post is garbage anyways. Look, who are you going to believe? The Prophet or your bestfriends and Fiancé?” Alicia looked at her for a long time, almost daring her non-verbally to say Prophet.
“I knew I never liked her from the get go.” Angelina finally said.
“She’s trying to ruin your relationship with George to get him for herself. I heard her talking to her coworkers about having a dream that she was the first lady of Weasley’s Wizarding Weazy’s.” Katie added. Angelina’s dark eyes flashed with anger. How dare she? Where was she when all the foul experiments were being tested on her voluntarily and involuntarily?
“The nerve of her . . . is she at the head office right now?” Angelina asked. Katie and Alicia looked at each other, exchanging worrying glances. Angelina rolled her eyes when she saw them. “Relax guys, I’m not going to barge and blow her head off or anything like that. I think it’s time Freddie sees where daddy works and besides, I haven’t been a very good fiancé to George lately. I think I’ll take him to his favourite lunch.” Her friends both gave a sigh of relief.
There was a swarm of people around Angelina and her friends as they entered the floor that George’s office was on. It was the first time that they were seeing the baby, except for the picture of him and Angelina on George’s desk.
“Ooh can I hold him?”
“He looks so adorable.”
“He looks just like George.”
After awhile Angelina couldn’t tell who was saying what. “Does anyone know where George is?” Angelina asked. Someone told her that he was in his office and she excused herself to go to George; deciding that she would surprise him.
“Please do not sit on my desk Ms. Blake. Look I am engaged and I’m a dad. I cannot condone this behavior. Especially from a company executive. Plus I am already extremely annoyed by the article that was posted in the prophet a few weeks ago.”
“Oh George relax. It was just a publicity hoist.”
“It’s Mr. Weasley and, hoist or no hoist, it was not appreciated.”
“I see. Let me guess, your fiancé wasn’t pleased?” She attempted to play in his hair but he moved his head back. Angelina cleared her throat. They both turned around to look. George got up from his seat but Carmen remained seated on his table, spinning only to face her. Angelina’s eyes flashed dangerously.
“Ange what are you doing here?” George asked as Angelina walked across the office to place the carrier on George’s desk. George automatically reached into the carrier and took Freddie into his arms. Angelina turned fully to Carmen.
“I’m sure my fiancé told you to get off his desk.” Carmen sneered at Angelina and she didn’t move immediately.
“Are you deaf?” She stepped closer to her.
“Stay away from my family, or believe me you’ll have me to answer to now excuse me. I would like to speak to my fiancé in private.” Carmen looked to George as if expecting him to side with her but George was making silly faces for Freddie.
“George!” Carmen said looking at him still. George looked up innocently.
“Yes?”
“Do you hear how she’s speaking to me?” George cradled Freddie and smiled.
“You heard the woman, leave.” He smiled at Angelina, who was beaming at him. With a huff Carmen left the room and slammed the door behind her. George held out his free hand to her and she snuggled in next to Freddie.
“You know there is no other woman I’d rather have as my wife, don’t you?” He said rubbing his nose against hers. Angelina smiled.
“I know. I guess for awhile I forgot. I was just so big and fat . . .” George kissed her to shut her up.
“You’re beautiful Ange. Pregnant or not.”
