"Yes sir," Jake nodded, and was about to leave, but watched what Truebridge was doing, first. A BOOOOOOOOOOOK. And one clearly Jake didn't have, never really being one to do extra-curricular reading on Ancient Runes.

"Thank you," he grinned, looking straight at the man before focusing on the book again, treating it with more respect than he ever would with any human.

He gave a lopsided smiled. "We'll just see if I can't," Jake nodded. Oh, he would have a try. "See you in class, Professor."

And with that, he took his leave.
