Alex wasn't EXACTLY a sickly child--just a clumsy one. He had decided at the feast after he nearly choked on a bread roll that he should probably check out the hospital wing and just figure out how it worked, exactly. Plus, he also heard that this lady was their Head of House. He wanted to be polite and introduce himself and talk to someone who probably loved Hufflepuff as much as he did!
He knocked on the door and then looked around, spotting the bench across the hall from where he stood. He walked over and plopped down, taking in the surrounding area as he waited.

He had wanted to talk to her alone, but he could always come back sometime later. He was just happy to see Miss More in person finally, the summer holidays had been far too long for Preston's liking.
Preston nodded his head a couple of times before he stepped through the doorway into Miss More's office.
