Lezleighd Satine was relieved to hear her name. She soon saw the blonde head of her fave Slythie Prefect and made her way that way running through the minefields of firsties.
Finally she made it and plopped down beside Iris, "Howzit! Man the Slythie table is hopping today." she said taking in a deep breath and smiling her sparkling smile. "So what's new on this end of the Great Hall?" she asked glancing over a sea of green and yellow and just barely spotting her Ravie Table.
She looked around at the peeps surrounding Iris, "Have you seen Aaron yet? I haven't seen him at all." she asked cocking her right eyebrow up.
Iris grinned and hugged Satine. Then she laughed at her words.
"Yeah... it is, just a bit." As Satine asked what was going on.
"Oh, not much. Just catching up with everyone. How've things been at your end of the Great Hall?" She asked, with a giggle.
When Satine brought up Aaron, Iris frowned and shook her head.

After a good ten minutes of laughing at Zoey's reactions, Iris sighed, and finally managed to stop the laughter.
"Don't worry, though... seriously. She's not as bad as I'm making out."

Anyway, he made his way down the Slytherin table, as he always did, and, like, always found Iris... Like always. But, she was laughing her butt off. Which is not what happens, usually. The captain just slid into the seat next to her, and played with his thumbs until she turns around and sees him.
Iris glanced away from Zoey when she felt someone sit down next to her.
"AARON!"
... That was loud.
"Where HAVE you been?!" she said, pulling him into a big hug. They were a good half an hour into the Feast... but Iris was acting like she'd not seen Aaron in months.
Pulling out of the hug, Iris looked at him, that same worried frown on her face,
"Really... what took you so long?"
