"Your not late, your perfectly on time in fact" the seventeen year old informed her, smiling softly, still slightly fakely, her mood had improved but she was still upset, missing people terribly. "And even if you were, I wouldn't tell anyone" she winked. "My names Trixie, I'm Head Girl" she held out her hand for a polite handshake. Quote:

Meredith explained. "Aww, thanks." Meredith smiled.Aww, she was nice. This ones smile was cute, and she seemed to brighten up slightly as she spoke to Trix, so the Head Girl softened her concerned look. "Its a pleasure to meet you too Meredith" she glanced at her robes and then back at the girl. She didn't want to be in Slytherin? But.. why? "You'll grow to love your house I promise you that. We Slytherins are actually a friendly lot" she told her. "And I promise you won't be stereocast as long as you don't act like it. I wouldn't be Head Girl if I was mean or prejudice would I?" she asked. "I'm a Slytherin because it runs in my family. And because.. well you get me with my Best Friend and.. I'm incredibly sarcastic, slightly big headed and very egotistical, but thats only with him" she giggled, hoping that this would cheer the younger student up. "But I'm friendly really" she smiled softly. Quote:

Smiling slightly as she watched Trixie look at something on her wrist, Iris realised just how special Oliver was to her. They had a friendship that not a lot of other people had... It made Iris warm and fuzzy just thinking about it. "Hmm. Well, if he doesn't have a mirror, then I'll buy him one." Iris said, plainly. She meant it, too. Though... HOW would Oliver ever keep that afro nice and ... not horrible if he didn't have a mirror? It just didn't make any sense to Iris. At least Iris was providing a nice escape from the rest of the people she was talking to, mostly first years and a few older but still new students here and there. "I don't mind talking to them all anyway, I just didn't expect that Slytherin would be gaining so many new students. Its brilliant though, more opportunities to win the house cup.. again. Third year running" she smirked a little as she spoke of the points. Those, PRECIOUS points.
The Blonde noticed that Iris was looking down at her wrist, obviously spotting Trixie's precious bracelet. "It was my seventeenth Birthday present, Oliver made it" she spoke but did not look up, instead choosing to look at the delicate bangle. "I haven't taken it off since he gave it to me" she smiled weakly. "Heh. He probably wouldn't accept it" she bit her lip, he never did. Well apart from his birthday present, GAH she wanted a lightsaber battle right now. "Its a good idea though" she looked up with a gentle smile. Quote:

She said introducing herself to Trixie. "Oh, I cannot tell you how exicted I am to be here right now. I'm trying to keep it together here." she said fanning herself as a joke and then chuckles. Err.. Why was she looking at her like that?
Was there something on her face? Was her hair out of place. Oh goodness please say her skirt wasn't tucked up. But the look seemed more, admiring maybe, shocked almost, rather then one of humour. "Pleasure Elektra. YOu have a really unusual name, its pretty" she told her genuinely. She had a rarely used one as well, but hers she had never heard used before. "It certainly is amazing, you have every right to feel excited, I know I was" she glanced around the Great Hall. Quote:

How utterly rude! Trixie STARED at the KID.. Yes he was a kid because he was WAY younger then she was. True he was a Slytherin but that did NOT mean that he could be mean to other people. "Would you MIND not being rude to my fellow students?" she asked glancing down at her badge and then straight back up to him. "Say anything else and you will have the Head Girl to answer to" she GLARED at him more before turning away. He was not worth her energy and she was upset enough, she didnt need to add anger to her list of emotions. Quote:

She was a proud Snake and there was absolutely no doubt about that. Quote:

How nice of her to introduce herself. Oh-oh, she heard his stomach too. Sheesh, why did it have to be so loud. Simon tapped his stomach, trying to make it shut up, but it appeared to have a mind of it's own and grumbled again. Just great. His cheeks turned a shade of pink. "I hope so." he chuckled. See now THAT she liked.
When people turned their whole attention to her and didn't get randomly distracted so she ended up standing like a potato in the middle of a conversation. "I don't think I got your name..." she stated. He hadn't mentioned it had he? She wanted to learn as many names as possible in case they ever needed her for anything. "You looking forward to classes then?" she asked. Quote:

Happiness, of course, because she'd recently been sorted into Slytherin house. No surprise there. Distress, though, because Alex, her very own twin, was officially a Puffer Boy. Alphabetically, Sierra's sorting had come after Alex's; and when she'd gotten up to that stool, she'd tried to bargain with the hat and ask it for a refund on her brother's placement. She'd gotten nowhere, of course, but she did feel the hat sort of redeemed itself when it'd shouted Slytherin for her faster than Salazar Slytherin could sit up in his grave and do a little cheer.
So she'd imagined that last part, but her sorting had still been an amazing experience, nonetheless. ...and she really did hope that Salazar would have been proud to call her one of his own. After all, her father and her dumb old Puffer of a brother were named after the founder, so that had to count for something, right? Ehh, whatever. She was honestly too excited about her own sorting to think about her unfortunate twin brother.
...but suddenly, as she glanced across the table and realized she barely knew a soul, she almost wished she and Alex had both ended up in Slytherin. Eeep! She had to be confident, though. Her father had advised her to try and never let her guard down. So with the most confident face she could give, Sierra finally took a seat at the house table, joining the people who'd be like her very own second family for the next seven years.
Ahh, it felt good to be a snake!
So the girl in the Menagarie, the one who's sister was a previous Head Girl, she DID become a Snake after all. Well that was BRILLIANT, though she wandered if the small weird one, the Beclher kid, whether he would join them in the House of Awesomeness. "Hey Sierra, glad your sat here with us, guess you really were right, you definitely belong here" she winked and giggled slightly before turning her attention to whom she was sat with, older snakes, not older then herself but ones she knew had been here a while. Ah.
Well that was a thing, wasn’t it? Sitting in what would be his new spot, wouldn’t be simple, not for the man who saw how things used to be, and who used to sit where and… why was there a man in Max’s seat?
It smelled of ministry in here and yet… not. A puzzle for another day, for another brain. Rather than head to the staff table, Truebridge turned his attention to one that was far more constant, and felt more like home. The Slytherin table, naturally.
Those who were first year when he last taught at Hogwarts would be third years now, and many students had graduated of course. There were still hundreds of familiar faces at all four tables, and he remembered the names too, but it was Slytherin he was interested in at that moment.
He stood quietly, just observing. Had they kept their spirit? Had they kept their pride and ambition and not let it waste away like he had found after his return from Azkaban?
More importantly perhaps, had Lafay set any more of them on fire? And why were there so many students from other houses there, interrupting all the green?
Slytherins. Friendly bunch. Was that.. TRUEBRIDGE?!?!?
:O
Oh My Gosh, she really liked him, he was her first DADA professor and.. was he BACK?! For her last year as well, that was just utterly brilliant! Though she wasn't entirely sure what lesson he would be taking though, there were a few staff changes this term after all. "Glad to see you back Professor, did you miss us all too much?" she smirked a little and laughed. "Which class are you taking by the way?" she asked glancing down at the badge and then back up. Hopefully one she was planning on taking at NEWT level, she needed those NEWTs and Truebridge was a great teacher. Text Cut: Deniz Quote:

Yes, he was past his OWLs, did fairly well, and now he was ready for the new term and prefect duties. Yup, everything cool.
After absorbing the air, he made his way to the Slytherin Table, which was already packed with people. Wow. So many firsties this term! Or it was his failure to recognise faces from last year. Smiling at every people, his eyes searched for Marie immediately. There she was, though she was with Evelyn--smirk, even though Finn wasn't around too, Josh still couldn't find her--and... he gasped. TRUEBRIDGE! Right HERE! He grinned at that GREAT news, and grinned at the man too. It was good to have him back. No, it was amazing. What class did he teach, though? Not something silly like Divination, he dearly hoped. His eyes travelled to the staff table with hope to see Lawson too, but he couldn't. Eh, Truebridge was enough for now. You couldn't always have everything.
Waving at the man and greeting him cheerfully ("Welcome back, professor!"), he walked towards the middle as he waved at Marie and even Evelyn. Now that Truebridge was here, he felt even more alive and smiled at the people he didn't know. Spotting Iris and Trixie somewhere, he beamed at them too, though didn't make his way there. They appeared to be having a discussion or something, and he didn't want to interrupt.
He sat among some people he didn't know, with his back to the wall, and just watched the Great Hall.
It was amazing to be back in here.
And there was another badged person. But why was he not joining them? Too busy socialising by himself. Well FINE, guess she was the only one talking to practically everyone. "Don't want to join us lot then?" she raised an eyebrow. Pfft.. Wuss. Quote:

Even her dad once said she was known too be a slacker."What classes would you say you like the best?" That was a hard question. Trixie loved ALL her lessons. "I would say whichever class your best at, but I have all 12 OWLs so I'm pretty avergae at all of them. My personal opinion though, I like Muggle Studies" and that wasn't only because Jeremy was professor, though that did certainly help "Being pureblooded I think its fascinating learning about how the Muggles live." Which was the truth. "But, Astronomys great too, if you follow it, can get a little complicated here and there, and Charms" It was really difficult to choose. Quote:

He knew all of this information due to his extensive research about Hogwarts before he arrived. Sitting down at the correct table, Nathan's eyes darted around the Great Hall for his best friend, but he was no where to be seen. Actually, it crossed his mind that Elliott could very well be in Hufflepuff himself.... *whistle*
He tapped his fingers together lightly out of nervousness, which felt weird, but then he finally started to tuck in on the feast. He wasn't totally sure about what he was consuming, but it tasted ice so he continued, yup. Trixie looked up at a final student entering, hopefully this would be the last of the new students because she was finding it difficult to keep up, though THIS one seemed older, a fifth year if she had to guess. "Hey. Welcome to Hogwarts" she stated, not wanting to be as blunt or repetative as she had been with the rest of the students. Quote:

Fallon smiled. "Really? That's so awesome!" She wished she had horses. She'd even settle for a dog. Why was she thinking of dogs, they were talking about horses. "That sounds like fun to me." She thought that would be an awesome way to spend the summer.
Fallon giggled along with Trixie. "It was. But I missed Hogwarts so much. The only thing that kept Hogwarts off of my mind was the food and the shopping." Without those two things, Fallon didn't think she would have survived. "Well the grounds are MASSIVE I'm pretty certain we'll be able to find at least somewhere we can hide, in fact, using the whole grounds would be hilarious, make it SO difficult for the seeker to find us then" she laughed. "Yeah its a great escape to go out with the horses riding, when your stressed or whatever" she smiled weakly. But she missed looking after them whilst she was here. "If you ever wanted to ride one, you could always come over, my family don't mind." She would even let people keep their own in her stables. That was what one person did anyway.
Food and shopping? "I think I would be distracted by the shopping, food not so much, being vegan and all" she giggled. "But give me muggle money and let me loose and I may go slightly mad" Yes a trip to Italy seemed to be in order for the Head Girl.
