"i'm sure we will have clases together i mean they split the students evenly im sure we will have at least one class." she said with a smile directed at Alex
"From New York. I'm a New Yorker" Alex said with a hint of pride, ah yes America and New York. Great, great place.
"I'm originally from here though, explains the accents." Yes plural, having grown up in England and America he had two accents. Although he always used his brittish one in England, except when he was talking to americans... Like that girl on the train.
"Ah then I'm sure we will." he nodded with a smile. Then perhaps he could havve a third year Ravvie to work with in classes.
"So have you been attending Hogwarts your two previous years too?" Quote:

Alex caught a wave and smiled widely at the girl. It was Licorice Girl! Uh-huh, that would be her nickname from him, because everyone he knew needed a nickname and he knew she had a thing for those licorice wands by the food trolley. He
was the Nickname Master after all.
He waved a little from where he was sitting with a knowing smile. His american friend, the girl he could actually use his own accent with.

Firsties? It actually sounded kinda cool - well, maybe a bit rude, and it sounded as though he was talking to babies, but Katelynn didn't mind the word that much.
"Ah then I feel very honoured." Alex chuckled with a smile at Helen. He just loved to have connections in the different houses.
"I'm in my third year." he nodded in agreement with himself because well, he was speaking the truth so he could nod at his statement. Yup he could.
"So, do you know anything about the different subject that are taught?" he asked curiously.
