Oohhh, small, goblin-sized person!

Another half-goblin, perhaps? Where was Lulu Patterson when you needed her? And when was Greer going to learn carry a leash with her everywhere?

This potential half-breed, however, appeared harmless--sad, even. Poor creature! "Hiiiii!" Greer wiggled her small fingers in the girl's direction, in attempts to sound friendly and welcoming--which she was, for the most part.

Height would dictate between second and fourth year but mannerism inclined to older than that. Goodness it was embarrassing to know that even some of the seventh years weren't as mature as she sounded, himself included in that category at times. He wasn't trying to be rude. He was just very, very perplexed.
The older boy had gone from surprised and dim-looking, to serious and smart, to surprised and slow. She could not keep up wit him and his changes. This must be what Morgan always grumbled to herself in her room about boys being more confusing than they were worth--and yet, Greer's older sister did not seem to be able to quit them either.

But Greer, different from Morgan as she was, was impatient and the opposite sex did not hold much interest for her as it did for her sister. But she was in need of protection, and Legend Chosen, her servant, was nowhere to be seen. "Hmm." The correct answer would be twelve, but she'd heard her mum once tell someone that bluntly asking for a woman's age was rude. Not that Greer was a woman herself just yet (gross!), but she supposed the same concept applied to her. Not to mention that this was a complete stranger that was adequate (and Merlin knew what that was, though it sure sounded serious and big) at setting all sorts of spells on people.

What if he decided to turn against her? She could not give him personal information just yet.

"I am young," She replied at last a little stiffly, her small nose sticking in the air a little. "How old are you?, sir? And you never did answer my question, you know." She added, quite testily.
