Ellie huffed. Phew, made it at last. Of course, the one day she had ever overslept was the day the train was leaving. She had quickly gathered her things together and got ready that morning, without even wasting time for breakfast. She finally made it to the train. On time. She sighed as her stomach growled.

She was walking down the isle, hopelessly looking for a somewhat empty compartment when she thought she heard her name. She looked behind her, but saw no one she knew. She walked a few feet more and saw her two newly aqquired friends, Tay and Alex chatting in their compartment. She smiled and stepped in the doorway. She quietly cleared her throat. "Hey Tay, Alex." She said, her eyes lingering on Alex for a few extra seconds. "Mind, if I join you guys?" she asked the two of them, smiling.
