Adam was happy for her he really was, he would've never had the guts to ask permission to even think of trying out during his first year.

As the two looked out the door the cat was trying to get at the pair. Who in their right minds would leave a cat out in the open? Mind you, a crazed cat? Turning to Adam Selina asked, "Who's cat is that?" Then it registered, "If you want I can go and give it back to her. We don't have a history. So less awkward?"
Selina was offering him a way out. She sure hoped he would take it, the last thing she wanted was more drama for him or worse still Kurumi.
