32. Petrificus Totalus
Draco looked down at Granger’s body. She was lying there completely frozen, her eyes just staring up at him. He had just witnessed his father cast Petrificus Totalus on her. He looked down at her and finally realized the full extent of what he’d done to this castle.
He watched as he saw one of the Weasley’s hit his father in the face with some spell. He grinned to himself. His dad definitely deserved it. Draco looked back down at Hermione. He didn’t know if he should help her or not, especially since he still had to get up to the Astronomy Tower.
Hermione stared up into the eyes of Draco Malfoy. She knew all of this was his fault and that his father had hit her. He was not the person she wanted to see right now. She needed Ron or Harry to come counteract the jinx so she could get back to fighting.
She wished she could shout out but the only thing she could do was look up. All of sudden, Malfoy raised his wand. She braced herself for what was to come. He said the counter jinx and then was gone. Hermione was extremely confused.
