A Dance Partner! Where was I gong to find one of them! Well, I knew who I wanted to ask.
'Here goes nothing.' I thought as I approached her.
Luna Lovegood turned round.
'Oh Hello Rylee.' she said, in her dreamy voice.
'Hey Luna. I was just wondering, you know the ball is coming up? Would you maybe, like to go to the ball... with... me? Only if you want to.' I said, turning red.
She smiled.
'Yes, I would love to.' she said, giving her smile that made my heart swell.
'Ok, meet you in the Great Hall at 8? See you, Luna.' I said, not believing my luck.
'Yes. I'd better go pick out a dress.' she said and walked off, leaving me with a smile on my face, and a joy in my heart.

I was stumped. Who was I meant to ask. I pondered this as I walked across the grounds.
'I wish I knew.' I said, staring at my hands.
'Baylee?' asked a voice.
I looked up to see George.
'Hey.' I said.
'How are you?' asked Lee, joining us.
'Stumped. I have no partner, and I'm a champion, I need one.' I said, biting my lip.
'Well, would you maybe go with me?' asked Lee.
Me and George looked at him.
'Sure.' I said.
'Lee, you do know Fred is gonna kill you?' said George.
'He can't say anything, he's going with Angelia!' I retorted.
'She's got a point there.' said Lee.
He took my hand.
'Meet you in the common room at 8. See you then.' he said.
'Sure.' I said.

'Who you going with?' I asked Hermione as we went to our dorms to get changed for the ball.
'Promise you won't tell?" she asked.
'Cross my heart.' I said, miming crossing it.
'Ok, Viktor Krum!' she whispered.
'Oh My God!' I said.
'And you? I said who I was.' said Hermione.
'Lee Jordan!' I whispered.
'Oh My GoD! What are you wearing?' asked Hermione.
'You'll see when I'm ready.' I said.
I sat on top of my bed and drew the drapes, changing into my dress and shoes. I drew them and stood up.
'Baylee, you look wonderful.' Hermione whispered as the other girls crowded in to change.
There were gasps all round.
'Baylee! You look beautiful!'
'Oh My God! Baylee!'
'I feel envious!'
I smiled and looked at myself. I shut my eyes and when I opened them, my hair was black, in a curly ponytail. Soon 8 'o' clock came. I walked down with the other girls. I caught Fred staring, Angelina with her mouth open. I spotted Lee and walked over.
'You look amazing.' he said, taking my arm.
'So do you.' I said as we walked out and down the corridor.
I saw Rylee with Lune, looking pleased as punch. We walked passed Draco and he mouth fell open, and Pansy stared at me. The doors opened and the champions took to the floor.
'Can you dance?' I whispered.
'Yes, can you?' asked Lee.
'You bet.' I replied as we started.
I felt like I could of danced forever that night.
