First, Lexi just blinked, and then she diverted her attention to Lily with a rather blank expression on her face. "Sage left, too?" she asked. "...and Nolan?" This was the first time in a few months that she'd talked to someone about Sage, and even though it'd been quite a while, Lexi still felt her heart skip a little beat when she said his name.

She'd liked him. She'd liked him as more than a friend, yet she'd never told him. She'd never told anyone, come to think of it. Of course, that could be due to the fact that Hecate seemed to always be waiting for her around every corner, ready to throw her love for Sage, or whatever it was, right up in Lexi's face. "Oh," she finally said. Sage had left Hogwarts, too. Now, if she ever did find the courage to tell him how she really felt about him, she'd have no idea where to find him. This was the kind of thing she'd hoped to tell him in person.

Lexi's attention was drawn back to the conversation when the topic turned to Evander and Bryson. "I'm glad things are working out, Lil. Especially with the Quidditch match," she commented. "I know that meant a lot to Brysen and Evander...and you, too, of course. I'm really happy for you."
