She wanted to know his name now? Nosy!
"My name is Rodney Belcher and I turned eleven last week. What about you?"
... head of student body? Rodney still didn't understand what that meant. She was in charge of everyone's body? The eleven year old took a tiny, nervous step backwards. Scary.
"Fruit bats aren't as cool. You should trade them for vampire ones. They're way more awesomer." He wanted vampire ones. Blood sucking bats. And he could set them on anyone that might bully him. Noone would mess with him at Hoggyfarts if he had vampire bats on his side.
But hey, scare half the students at school?
Rodney's eyes lit up at the Head Girl's words. Scare people? Yes please. A tarantula it was then!
"Difficult to look after? I'll let it crawl around and find it's own dinner. Then I won't have to look after him. I'll call him Sydney. Sydney Spider." Now where were the spiders!?
Hang on... Was he backing away from her? B..But nobody ever backed away from her. She stared at him, like really stared.
"That doesn't mean I'm scary or whatever ideas your brain is currently coming up with. Which quite frankly I don't want to know.." she stated. Trixie was the least scariest person.. Actually that wasn't totally true. She was probably terrifying when she went mental in Muggle Studies but that really wasn't her fault. "
It just means I'm.. Oh just look it up" she didn't really know how to explain the term.
"No! They're really cool actually..." she frowned.
"And at least they're not harmful, I don't want to be in danger of having my blood sucked thank you very much" she stated. "
And I'm not going to trade in beloved pets. Thats just.. CRUEL" the blondie frowned. She screwed up her face at the mention of blood however. The seventeen year old wasn't exactly squeamish but she didn't particularly enjoy this talk either.
O________O
The look in his eyes kinda worried the Head Girl. She hadn't put ideas in his head had she? Bad ideas.
"I really wouldn't do that if I were you" she told him, an eyebrow raised trying to look all important and like she knew what she was talking about. Her hand placed on her hip as she continued to speak.
"It would cause utter mayhem if you let the spider out by itself, you'd probably end up in BIG trouble." Yeah if that wasn't convincing enough, what was?

Had Sierra not been one-half of a set of twins which involved herself a boy, she just might be a little put off, too. As it was, though, she was a little used to boys and their barbaric ways of thinking. Granted, though, Alex and this boy were really nothing alike. Sierra couldn't remember a time when Alex liked to talk about poop and blood. Then again, that could be because Alex has two sisters and zero brothers. He was far outnumbered.
Sierra suddenly realized the conversation had been directed back to her, and she quickly chimed in with, "I wish my entire family was made up of Slytherins. All the Greingoths from my father on back are Slytherin, though. My mom's side is a mixture of Slytherins and Gryffindors," she explained. Nodding, Sierra turned and pointed to a little shop a few doors down. It was called GothSaints and had a picture of a cauldron on the shop's sign. "That's partly my sister's shop. She's a Potions mistress."
Sierra didn't mention that she thought Alex would be a Hufflepuff. She was still holding on to the hope that there may be an ounce or two more of bravery than loyalty inside of him. "I'm not too sure about Alex. I just know that he's no Slytherin, unfortunately," she said. When Trixie mentioned requirements, Sierra just shrugged. "Umm, I don't know. What do they usually say?"
Confused, Sierra turned to the boy and said, "Scared of lizards? No way. I don't have fears," she said, stretching the truth on that last line. She was scared of really dark magic that she couldn't defend herself against, but lizards? No way. "Lizards are just tiny little creatures. They don't do much harm at all," she said. "If you like Pygmy Puffs, why don't you buy one?" He just might get laughed out of the Great Hall, though...
His last name was Belcher? Eww. Only a kid who talked about poop and blood would have a last name like Belcher. "My name's Sierra Greingoth, and I turned eleven in March. So we'll both be first years. Cool," she said. Or, at least, she thought it'd be cool. The second the kid let out some gross-smelling bodily function near her, there would be war. "So which Hogwarts house do you want to be sorted into?" That was obviously the next most important question. Those things mattered!
The Slytherin chimed into the two younger students conversation about Pygmy Puffs. Those cute pink balls of fluff really.
"I have one of them, they're cute but they don't exactly do much" she stated.
"You'd have to go to Weasley's place to get one of them" she informed them both.
Trix turned back to the younger female however, at least she would provide a conversation that would be a lot more pleasant and contain a considerable amount less talk of poop and blood... and just disgusting things. Conversation with her would be a lot more civilized.
"But don't you think its pleasant to have variation in your family? At least that way you get to find out whats happening in and around the school" she asked.
"I must say, I have tons of friends in the other houses, Its funner that way" Though her best friend was a Slytherin. Gah it well and truly sucked that she would be all lonely in the Common room now he had left
*Siiiiigh* "Oh. That's exciting" the Blondes head turned in the direction the younger was pointing. Trixie had NO idea what she was going to do with her life after she left. She had all of her OWL's, she could go in any direction, but there wasn't anything that sprung out at her. All she knew was that she wanted a job where near Diagon Alley, for more than one reason.
"All of the houses are amazing though..." she reasurred her. Obviously Sierra was set and intent of becoming a Slytherin, almost like she was obsessed with the house. Cute. But her brother being in another house wasn't so bad.
"I'm not sure. Truthfully I didn't start here as a first year, I joined slightly later. And well, even if I had, Memory Loss doesn't exactly help." Yeah it sucked basically.
