She thought back to the last thing she'd said and tried to recall if she'd even answered their question at all. No, no she hadn't. So where had the confusion come in?

Smiling politely, she shook her head and tried to clarify her response. "I do apologize for the confusion, but I haven't actually made a decision one way or the other yet," she started. "I was simply asking what the aftereffects of the inspections would be. How many games would be affected and is there an idea as to how long the inspections would take?"

Rex shifted uncomfortably in his chair and cleared his throat.

Is she barking mad?

He was trying his best not to express his displeasure with Allie and it was quiet for a few uneasy seconds.

"I do not have a timeframe for how long the inspections will take because we have limited experienced personnel to carry on such a monumental task," he began. "I won't bore you with the details of the inspection team, but we'll have to prioritize a list of pitches and reschedule games. As for the start of the official season, it's been delayed for one month because of the European Cup and so we can use this delay to our advantage."

Does she realize that this is a nightmare for us? Not to mention, next year is a World Cup year?

"Does this answer your question, Minister Carlton?"
