...and if it was even news at all. After all, Vindictus had just said he wouldn't be attending. The reason for that was still unknown.

When the news was finally announced, Allie found herself torn between shock and...well, not really minding the situation at all. In the back of her mind, these torn emotions confused her, and for a brief moment, a look of bafflement crossed over her face. "...and what happened after the Muggles were able to wander in? Are they...still there? Has anything been done?" she asked.

"The Russian Obliviators were hard at work and other officials were helping out," Rex began when he was interrupted.

"Forgive my interruption." He spoke and gave a small polite bow,"Have the wards failed in any other pitches?" The answer was yes, he knew. It was just a matter of time before it was clear where the other failed wards were. Quidditch pitches weren't just in Europe after all.

"As of this moment, only one Quidditch pitch has been affected - the one in Novgorod," he began to explain slowly. "The Russian Ministry has employed an international team of wizards to investigate the situation on the oldest pitch in Russia. However, I'm not one to risk exposure of one of our most treasured sports and would like to suspend all games in the United Kingdom until each pitch has been thoroughly inspected and the wards tested."

Rex glanced at Gina and then looked straight at Allie.

"As the Minister of Magic, this is your call - do you want all Quidditch events cancelled until I can send a team out to inspect each stadium or are you willing to risk exposure to Muggles?"
