Jeremy is more than your average frat guy. Though he's very active in his fraternity duties, he's working on a scholarship at Wenlock and can't afford to lose it. Therefore, he spends a lot of his free time studying and doing schoolwork. Unfortunately for the boy, smarts don't necessarily come easy to him. Not that he's dumb or anything, no, just the opposite. He's a very intelligent boy, but it takes him longer to grasp certain things academically, meaning he has to work a lot harder than the average smart kid on a scholarship.
Between this, and his fraternity duties, he hardly has time for much else, though he tries for a social life. It's pretty hard not to have one in a fraternity, as a lot of times it's mandatory to come to a lot of the parties and things. Though this isn't necessarily his forte, he's a naturally outgoing person and enjoys meeting new people when he's not studying for tests and classes.
Jeremy's Major is Magical Creature Care, which is much more challenging than one might think. Though it can sound like taking care of sweet animals, one might be surprised at what beasts can come out of this area of expertise. Every week Jeremy is challenged with a new creature to research and sometimes even take care of in his dorm room.
History:
Jeremy comes from two loving, yet clueless parents. Though they've given him and his sister all they could ever need, they're often out of town on business trips as both are very high up in the ranks of two different wizarding companies. They're quite the power couple, and when they're home, they're great parents! Unfortunately, they're hardly home enough to parent and it's often Jeremy that takes care of his little sister. Now that he's off to university, his younger sister Serenity often sends him letters or comes to visit on the weekend if she needs to talk to her older brother. They're actually a very close knit sibling pair, and the hardest thing about attending university for Jeremy was leaving his little sister behind.

Jeremy has no pets, surprisingly. Though the Frat House does allow them to, Jeremy was instructed not to get one by the Professors high up in his major, as they explained that he might be taking home lots of strange animals to take care of and the worst thing one could face was an eaten owl or something of the sort. You could never know what these exotic creatures might eat. Another surprising thing is that Jeremy's never had a pet in his life. Most would think that an animal lover like Jeremy would've had plenty of pets, but his parents really can't stand them.
