For the most part, Iclyn grew up in a very happy tight knit family, when she was five, her parents adopted Zach, the orphaned son of their parents best friends, and after a bit of rough start, Iclyn, Zach and her older sister Kalista all grew to be fast friends and nearly inseparable. This even translated to Hogwarts when the Fair siblings were all sorted into the same house. Zach and Iclyn made a pact to ask the sorting hat very nicely if they could be in the same house Kalista was, and either the sorting hat granted their requests, or put them their due to their loyalty to one another, we shall never know.
Everything was going well until a few months into Iclyn and Zach’s fourth year, Kalista’s sixth, that their parents were in a car accident and killed. Orphaning the children, and plunging the siblings into a living nightmare. They kept things quiet, as they didn’t want to be separated, not even telling teachers at Hogwarts for fear of being turned in and separated. Once Kali was of age, they all decided to stay together and with her. But still kept things quiet, only telling a select few people what happened.
They all got a small apartment in London that they share. Kali had to drop out of school to work full time, even though their parents were comfortable and left them money, as did the sale of their old house, most
of the money went into savings for college should Iclyn or Zach want to go. Kali will be taking her exams as well as working to help support her siblings.
This term it will just be Zach and Iclyn returning to School, a fact that upset Iclyn more than she lets on.
