Avatars, Signatures and Profile Pictures
Avatars
Avatars are the small graphics that appear below your username on all posts that you make. There are two kinds of avatars: those provided by the administrator and those that you upload yourself. Newbies can only use avatars provided by the administrator up to 80x80 pixels. Members can have custom avatars as long as its content is SS-appropriate and is no larger than 100x100 pixels and 20 KB.

To put in an avatar you:
  1. Go to your User CP (Control Panel)
  2. Click on Edit Avatar in the side navigation panel
  3. Then you can either choose from the many avatars provided by the site, or to use a custom avatar. To use a custom avatar, you can either paste the direct link (URL) in the first option or upload an avatar from your computer in the second option.
  4. Save changes

Signatures contain information that you want to include at the bottom of all your posts. This might include pictures, links to your site(s), quotes, and so on. Just be sure that all content (outside links included) complies with SS Rules. Please take a look at this thread for coding information.

To put in a signature:
  1. Go to your User CP (Control Panel)
