Text Cut: YOU GUYS

OKAY. Took me long enough, but I finally hopped onto the Doctor Who bandwagon.

And when I say "hopped", I mean... I literally threw myself into the fiery pit of drama and feels. Face first. Without a helmet. I am now in a coma. A coma in which I can still photoshop, but that's really pretty much it.

So, let me explain.

I saw my very first episode of Doctor Who over a year ago and it was "Blink" from Season 5 with David Tennant. Weeping Angels, Sally Sparrow, Martha Jones, crazy stuff. It scared the crap out of me but I liked it. And then (a year later) I got my roommate's Netflix account info and I first watched season 5 and 6 because everyone was raving about Matt Smith. BUT Netflix didn't have season 7 yet, so I started over and watched the first season... In one day. In one sitting, to be quite honest.

Season one was AMAZING. The Ninth doctor was amazing and incredibly underrated. I loved his and Rose Tyler's chemistry more than the Tenth Doctor, I don't know why. Also, I love Rose. She cried a lot, but I still loved her. And Mickey. And Jackie. I REALLY REALLY WISH we had gotten more time with Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor because I loved him so much, but alas... we had to move on. Buuuut FIRST let's take a minute to appreciate the season finale. Aaaaabsolutely beautiful. Mhm.

And then I watched seasons 2-4 with David Tennant and those were fiiiine. I liked the episodes with Rose the best. I didn't like Martha Jones much (until the end when she saved the world and kicked butt). All she did was yell and whine about not being the Doctor's center of attention. Donna Noble was brilliant and hilarious and I'm sad about what happened to her, but glad that she's still alive and happy, despite forgetting. For some reason, David Tennant just didn't do it for me. He was good, but he wasn't my favorite. I really hate his coat. Probably an unpopular opinion.

The Eleventh Doctor, Matt Smith, is really fun to watch. I feel like he's the most animated of them all and it's quite amusing. I absolutely LOVE his storyline with the Ponds. I also love that they're the "Ponds" and not the "Williams" and that Rory just accepts that. AAHHHH, RORY. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. Still, sometimes, I don't always believe that Amy deserves him, but at the same time I probably couldn't bear them apart. River Song is my favorite everything (hello, sweetie). The last episode of season 6 was EPIC.

I'm currently halfway through season 7. I just saw Angels Take Manhattan (ouch) and am now trying to figure out who the heck Clara is. DON'T TELL ME WHAT HAPPENS. Also, don't ask me who my favorite doctor is because I'll cry.

OH, ALMOSt FORGOT. Captain Jack Harkness. Love that guy.

So, uh, how about that grab bag? This is just some from Season 1. More to come.
