Harry and Lupin started a big fight over that. Harry started packing the minute after he got Hermione's letter. Lupin came into his room, limping. Harry waved a hello and threw more clothes into his suitcase.

"Harry..."

"What is it Remus?" Harry asked.

"Let's not get too hasty here...."

"Hasty?? What do you mean hasty? My girlfriend is bunking with my worst enemy! She needs me right now!"

"Harry, the whole world needs you right now. I need you! We need to think this over carefully-"

"Do what you want Remus. But I'm leaving. Hermione needs me, and nothing can stop me from going-"

"Harry, you've been like a son to me. Now sit down and shut up!"

Harry stopped packing and sat down on his bed.

"Now, Harry, let's be logical. You want to drop all the work we've been doing, just because Hermione's getting a little upset. That doesn't make any sense. I need you to stay here. Send Malfoy a curse by mail, God knows he needs one. Just stay here! I need you here!"

Harry looked down at the ground. He looked back up at Lupin.

"You gotta big envelope?"

Lupin grinned.

"I always keep one, just in case." He handed it to Harry. "Make it a goody."
