The Worple and Warmsley Magical Travelling CarnivalThe Worple and Warmsley Magical Travelling Carnival is here for the first time in Diagon Alley. Sponsored by all your favourite shops of Diagon Alley, the carnival is here for the summer! With magical rides and games, food stalls, knick-knacks and entertainment, this is a party for all ages that you won't want to miss.
Overlooking the street where the carnival is currently taking place, is a temporary rest area on the roof top of Ollivander's. Wooden stairs have been put up to allow you to reach the grassy area. A few chairs and tables have been placed up here to provide you with a bit of comfort while you take a break from the chaos that is Worple and Warmsley and relax with friends.
Vacation. Naturally, they were in summer right? And Italy! Wow. That was.. huge. "That's really great. You went with your son too right? How was it?" She had no idea if Leon had a fiance or a girlfriend or whatever. He seemed a bit touchy when it came to discussing such-
A young child had finished earing his sweet and was crumpling the wrappings up. Marina's attention snapped instantly toward him as she watched him go to the trash bin and throw it there. Smirking to herself, she looked back at Leon. She liked it when people seemed to be really into recycling and environmental, "I don't know why. But I think it's great! I've never seen a magical Carnival in Diagon Alley before. Have you?" Maybe there was one in Italy? "But I'm assigned to watch over the recycling bin around here. A small project to see how green are our wizards and witches." She gave a nod approving their greenness so far.
Except from the fact that he got burnt it was actually rather great, even though Leon usually prefers hiking and traveling in nature more than staying in a hotel and to go to the beach everyday. "Of course I went with my son. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't even leave," he said, rather surprised by the question, which parent wouldn't take their kid on vacation. "Oh... And it was fantastic, apart from the flights and getting burnt." There is nothing like vacation.
Leon raised his eyebrows when Marina looked at the kid and smirked just because he threw the trash into the bin. Should he ask why she was looking at a random child throwing away trash into a bin? Nope.
Back to the very bazaar and random carnival. "Actually, it never really crossed my mind if there is such thing as a magical carnival," he answered, looking at the carnival on the streets. He never really liked carnivals, they always freaked him out somehow, it's probably because he's afraid of clowns. He also hated the fact that there is a Freak Show in this carnival, why do the owners of the carnival need to show the world other peoples problems?
Ahhhh... Now he understood why she looked at the child. "Ahhh. Well, as being part of the Environmental Department that should our job." Wait... Did he just say 'our job'. Stupid Leon. Now he needs to work, and he never volunteers to do anything. This aging process is really changing his personality, soon he'll actually like working.
Quinn not knowing anything about this traveling carnival other than what her brother has told her. She looked around in amazement. " This is so cool," She said to herself. Her hair was in ringlet curls today. She lost her sister once again nothing new. Her sister usually ditches her in public places. She really didnt care at the moment though she was amazed by the fair.

He saw a girl alone and he look only a year young than him, He decided to go talk to her. "Isnt it amazing?"He said walking up to her behind her and coming next to her. Her eyes looked amazed at the carnival. Must be her first time. He smiled at her.
Clad in a rather dark and morose ensemble of greys and blacks, Zevran Anders sat on a rickety wooden bench, his eyes scanning the scene before him. Magic. It was everywhere he turned. He would never be able to escape it's imminent hold on him and everything around him. Scowling, he sharply looked back down at the black moleskin notebook he cradled in his palms. Reaching up a steady and long fingered hand, he stroked the page with a black fountain pen. He wasn't going to stoop to these frivolous things and use quills and parchment. This wasn't the middle ages and he wasn't... a wizard. Just the thought of the word sent a pain in his temple.
He scratched out the last sentence he wrote. There must be something I can say or do to show them what they are doing is wrong! Shaking his head, he poised his pen in midair over the paper. This was unlike him to be out of ammo of thought.
The boy snapped the notebook shut in frustration, capping his pen and tucking it in the inside pocket of his black blazer. Resting the moleskin in his lap, he shut his eyes and pinched them with his thumbs and pointer fingers. "Why am I even here?" He had been asking himself that several times a day since he arrived to Diagon Alley. Were his parents that ready to ship him here after they found out about his curse? Obviously.
Eino had become completely lost in the carnival, he barely knew which way was up and down, and grown extremely tired trying to find his way back to the busy streets of Diagon Alley. Sighing, he continued onward until he finally came across something. It wasn't the exit, but it was the perfect place for him to rest and regain his strength so he could resume his attempt to return to the shops' street.
Unfortunately for him most of the benches were occupied, and he always felt a little uncomfortable sharing a bench with someone else. Mostly because he had to share a bench with Sir Toby, and he liked his own space, but Sir Toby wasn't here. In fact, Eino hadn't seen him since he left for Finland. Still, this made Eino more nervous than it should, but he was tired, so he would find the courage to sit next to the gloomy looking boy.
He approached the bench carefully, pretending he hadn't seen it was already occupied, and sat on the opposite side of it. Once he sat down he tried to take a quick look at the boy, slightly turning his head, but he didn't see much. He also couldn't recognize him from school, which was why he was so nervous. Usually Eino didn't really mind other people's company, or to invade their space, which he could never really tell he was doing but eh.
He saw a girl alone and he look only a year young than him, He decided to go talk to her. "Isnt it amazing?"He said walking up to her behind her and coming next to her. Her eyes looked amazed at the carnival. Must be her first time. He smiled at her.
Quinn looked at the boy that was suddenly next to her. "Definitely amazing" She said smiling. She has never met or seen this boy before but it already felt like they have a somewhat connection already. It was weird. " May i ask who you are?" She asked him curiously. The smile on her face did not fade away.

Travis smiled down at her he was taller than her definitely. He could tell she was amazed my all of this i mean who wouldnt be? " My name is Travis. You are?" he asked her with a grin on his face. She must be one or two years younger than me possibly. For some odd reason they just started talking and he already feels somewhat close to her other than physically.

Except the flights? And getting burnt? "You're afraid from planes?"She laughed despite herself, "A wizard is afraid of planes? That's just funny," Still chuckling. Come to think of it, she'd never rid a plane. Well, yeah, she did when she was a child around five or six but she doesn't remember that. A lot of people had problems with planes, though, it wasn't something so uncommon. But she liked to see the fun part of everything.
"You spent a lot of time on the beach then? And you forgot your sun cream?" She smirked before saying, "If there was a woman with you, guys, you wouldn't forget that," Maybe he'd tell her then why he was so alone and no women were involved in his life? He had a son who needed a mom!
She nodded at him pointing out the obvious, "Of course it is our job. But I don't think you'll have to work on this. It's my commission's field assignment," Since his face had tightened a bit at the word 'work'. Besides, he'd just come back from a vacation, his mood shouldn't be in the work wave yet.

She smiled big. She's never been asked to hang out before by a boy nor a girl. She was happy right now. She noticed that he didnt let go of her hand. " Id love too." She said sweetly. Yeah i know shes only eleven but she can have friends right not like this is ever gonna be a real relationship like boyfriend and girlfriend stuff? she hoped.

He let go of her hand and looked down at her and smiled. " Meet me at the ferris wheel." He leaned down and whispered in her ear. He walked away at those last words. He headed to the ferris wheel to meet her. Kinda felt bad for just leaving her but he'll see her in about five minutes ... he hoped.

"Technically, I feel uncomfortable on planes," he doesn't usually even use planes, he prefers trains or cars, but since his son never was on a plane he needs to educate him to try and avoid planes, unless it's urgent. Please stop laughing Marina Leon thought to himself, wishing she really would stop. People could maybe hear her, and notice that she's laughing because of him. Oh, how embarrassing that could be. He couldn't even imagine the shame.
"If I could, I would be now at the beach," he answered her question, and it was the truth. Everyone would prefer going to the beach than going to a unexpected carnival. "Technically, I didn't forget the suncream I... er..." he didn't forget it, he... lost it at the last two days of the vacation. But, if he says he lost the suncream she'll probably think he's an irresponsible and forgetful man. "I finished the suncream at the last day of the vacation, and I didn't think it was necessary to buy a new bottle. Apparently, I was wrong." Oh, what a good excuse. Leon was good at many things, but the man was splendid at lying and giving excuses. He always thought he could be a successful spy. But for being a spy you need to be very responsible, and Leon has few problems with that.
"Wait. Are you saying that women are more responsible then men?" he asked, thinking he knows where she's going with this. Leon, is a good liar. You need give a very strong fight to squeeze the truth out of him. Even though he's planning on revealing his secret to someone, but he's not ready yey.
Yes! He didn't need to work today. "Well do you think Rafael will mind if I take a day off today?" he asked with a grin, even though it was painful. Oh, how fun a free day would be.
Anna walked up the creaky wooden stairs to the nice rest area above Ollivanders. She noticed many older kids at a few tables at the far end of the rest area. Anna was meeting her friend up here though so she sat down at an small empty table. She decided to finish up the last chapter of The Rule Book while waiting for her friend.

Adelyn looked around, searching for her friend Anna; spotting her at an empty table, reading a book. "Hi, Anna!" She waved excitedly, walking over to sit down with her. She placed her bag on the table, twisting her wand between her fingers. "Did you get your shopping done today?"
“You’re...welcome.” he said with a little bit of shock as she hugged him.
“Happy Birthday, Aurora.” he hugged her back. He had so much hugs that day that he was able to learn how to finally share it.
“I’m glad you liked it!” he said as he pulled away. “Did you find anything interesting in it? I’m quite sure it will take you time to learn the potions in that book. The grimoire’s pretty rare, and the spells in it are pretty difficult.” he said grinning. “How was your summer?” he asked as he placed his hands inside his pockets.
“Oh this?” he said as he removed the wizard’s hat. “It’s a silly, over-sized wizard’s hat I bought from one of the carnival stalls." he said as he pointed down to the fair. "Thought it’s funny. I never wore our school cap, though. Maybe I should wear this during the school feast.” he said as he placed it on Aurora’s head and smiled at her.
"Thanks!" Wow. A hug from Mordred... she never thought she'd see the day...
"It's... it's just... WOW!" she said, "I haven't had the chance to look through it properly yet but I'm planning on starting something from it when I get home. Where did you find it?!" she was well aware of the rarity of the book...
"Summer was... not as awful as I thought... I mean... parent's still fighting... My Father is still trying to grow his eyebrows back. But it was alright. Krys came home, he's not better but he's not critical anymore. They've been sending someone over every other day to check on him and stuff..." she shrugged, it made her awkward talking about it in public... she would probably end up crying... "Oh, and my sister is having a baby!" she said, grinning. "So how was Egypt! And Greece!"
"Mordred Mordaunt. You would never have worn such a ridiculous thing a year ago... I like it." She raised her eyebrows as he put it on her head but didn't object. He thought it was funny..? "I wasn't aware you had a sense of humor..." she joked. "Seriously though, do you remember when we met..? We spent ages having a one-up contest about posh parents and then we met Conan... and we were just so horrible to him... We really have changed." she said, chuckling a little.

Mordred just smiled at her as he watches her go all excited. “I got the grimoire from an upscale bookstore in Cairo. It was a rare one since I haven’t seen a copy of it in any store in Egypt, even at the local market.” He nodded as he remembered how much Egypt Pounds he shelled out for it. “I got very weird looks when I carried it, so I asked Franco to pay it for me.” He grinned. “They don’t have any idea we are wizarding folks.”
“See? Told you things will get better over time.” He grinned. “I’m glad your brother’s doing well. Maybe there’s a potion in the grimoire that could help him get better…” he added trying to make her feel better. He doesn’t want a crying Aurora in public. “A new addition to the family! Congratulations, Aunt ‘Rora.” He said patting her on the shoulder.
“I had a blast in Greece and Egypt! Egypt was more fun though. We dressed up as the locals, and we got the chance to scale one of the pyramids, we saw the interiors of it too…and you should have seen the writings on the walls!” he exclaimed. “Those were written by their ‘wizards’ to help the dead cross over to the other world. It’s like an ancient incantation.” He said as he looked at the sky trying to remember the drawing. “Oh. And I bumped in to David.” He said as he looked at the ground. “He’s Chloe’s brother, he was the one who sent you the package. I had to smuggle it out since I have nosy parents.” He smiled sheepishly. “As for Greece, most of the places we went to were ruins..” he paused trying to change the subject. “But then I met a strange man. He wasn’t talking, but rather conversing with me in my head.” He said frowning. “He said I must be a druid, since I can talk to him telepathically—and without effort.” He added wondering what in Merlin’s beard is a Druid. “I should have paid more attention in History of Magic.” he said to himself. “The one thing I miss in Greece is their food.”he said. "I was hoping the touring Carnival had gyros."
“I know, I know.” He said as he held up his hands. “I’m working on my social skills now. Remember, I did not have much friends before I started in Hogwarts.” He said scratching his head. “I didn’t know I could make fun of myself. It’s a good thing though.” He said.
He frowned as he tried to remember this Conan fellow. “Ah yes, Conan. He’s in your year now, isn’t he?” he smirked. “Yes, we were mean to him ‘cause he’s muggle born. And he hates the fact that he’s a wizard.” He paused. “I don’t get that boy, really.” He said shaking his head. “Well, I met a few muggleborns earlier. They are surprisingly not bad. In fact, I find them interesting.” He said scratching his chin. “We really have changed.” He said in agreement. “So, you’ve been hanging out with Conan?” he asked. There must be a reason why she mentioned him.

"Oi!" he said as he pointed at the mime. "You're the mime-fighting hero, right?" he told Aurora as he remembered her end of feast costume. "Somebody needs you." he said with a smirk as he waited for Aurora's reaction.

Beezus got tired after riding the carpet coaster and ferris wheel so she decided to rest for a while. She knew there was a rest area at Ollivander's rooftop so she decided to go there. She walked slowly up the wooden staircase, seeing a lot of people upstairs, she placed herself on a corner where the Carnival can still be seen.

As Mordred finished the apple he was eating, he eyed the trash bin that was standing on a corner, aimed at it and threw the core only to miss it and hit a girl.
Oops.
The boy approached her and picked up the core. "Sorry 'bout that." he said, as he threw the apple's core in the bin.
Awkward.

She got busy eyeing all the people in the carnival. Everyone seems to be having fun. Sometimes, Beezus can really just spend her time observing others as they do their own things.
Not a minute later, something hit her ! What was that ?, she thought. That hurted !
She was about to pick it up when a boy approached her, picked up the core of the apple and apologized. She stared at him for a few seconds, unable to think of anything she can tell him. Sighing, she said "It's okay."

Right.
"Were you hurt?" he asked eyeing her. "You're new, aren't you? I haven't seen you in Hogwarts before." Wait. Was she a witch? "You're ...a witch, right?" she must be since she's in Diagon Alley.
"I'm Mordred, by the way." he held out a hand for her to shake.

The boy asked her if she was hurt. Obviously, because I was hit. she wanted to say, instead she said "Yes. I'm fine." This incident is really not included in her expectaitons. "And again yes, I'm new .." she told him.
But what really got on her nerves was his next question.. "You're ...a witch, right?" Did I just hear him say that ? she asked herself mentally. "Of course, I'm in Diagon Alley, right ?" she then replied rather sarcastically. This was really not going too well.
She hesitated while the boy named Mordred held out his hand, "Nice to meet you, Mordred." she said, reaching for his hand but letting it go almost immediately. Wait ! was it nice to meet him ? Maybe.

Mordred kept his hand, and frowned feeling that this little witch was being arrogant. "I'm just making sure you are one, because if you weren't, I would have called my Father and report that a muggle was set loose in Diagon Alley." he smirked.
"Maybe I should have hit her harder." he told himself.
"Nice meeting you too." he said as he narrowed his eyes, then turned away. Mordred doesn't have time for arrogant and snobby people.

Beezus was obviously shocked at the boy's remarks.. how ungentlemanly ! Now she really was mad. "Okay. Now, you know I'm a witch. I'm magical too." This was the worst part of her day.. Really.
