After running around with so much excitement Nika decided maybe it was best to take a break. What better place to do it other than the roof of Ollivander's! Hehe. She walked over and made her way up the wooden stairs until she reached the grassy area. Nika picked a nice chair to sit on so that she could looked down at the carnival and maybe try to pick out some people she recognized. Her friends were bound to show up soon!

Aurora was wandering around, looking at everything when she suddenly felt like she had to sit down... she went up to the rest area and who did she see?

"Nika!" she ran over and plonked herself on the floor next to Nika. "How's you're summer going? Isn't this carnival wonderful! And on my birthday!" Aurora had to stop herself from bouncing up and down like a mad act.

Danni jumped, hopped, and skipped, pulling her older sister along like a wild dog dragging its owner on a leash. The little blonde blinked her rather large, brown eyes in curiosity...she just wanted to be everywhere at once! She was about to take her older sister to see the animals when Elliot forced her sister away.

"Merlin, Dan, come on. I hate this stuff..." she mumbled to her, rolling her eyes at the eight year old. Elliot tightened her grip on her sister, refusing to let her run off by herself. She had strict instructions(well, maybe not strict) to not let her wander off on her own. Elliot sat down, but her sister squealed.

"EEELLLLLLL pweaaaseee pweaaaasee I wanna go see ponies!" she whined, trying to yank her sister away.

Elliot gave her a cold stare. Blah. She hated babysitting. "No. Not yet. I don't feel like it. And once again, Danni, please call me Elliot. I HATE ELL." she told her for the MILLIONTH time...She wanted simply watch everyone as they walked by and take in the scene...she didn't exactly want to partake in the activities. Elliot was too cool for that.

Nika kicked her feet back and forth as she looked over the roof top. This carnival even looked amazing from above! She jumped up in her seat and almost caused the chair to fall over as a very hyper Aurora nearly scared the pants off her. "Hiya Aurora!" Well this is probably the most hyper Nika has ever seen this snake.

BLINK

Yup, it's definitely Aurora. "Eh, my summer hasn't been to exciting, but I think this just made it a whole ton better!" She smiled widely as she nodded to Aurora's questions. "I know know it is really--" Her birthday!? "WELL HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Nika threw her hands up into the air and smiled. Then suddenly broke out into song. "Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, HAAAAAAPYYYY BIRTHDAYYYYY AURORA HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOOOOOO YOOOOOOOUUUUU!" By the end of the song she was practically shouting. Yeah... Maybe the chocolate frogs from the sweet shop weren't necessary. She reached into her bag and pulled out a chocolate frog. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" She smiled sheepishly looking at the last minute "gift". "I erm.. I promise I'll get you a better birthday gift and give it to you at Hogwarts. I just didn't really have any idea that it was your birthday... until now.."

Aurora grinned as Nika jumped. "Glad to hear it. Can't have people unhappy on my birthday!" she laughed a Nika began to sing. Then applauded, "Best birthday song all day!" she shouted as Nika calmed down again, she took the chocolate frog and opened it, biting the frogs head off and glancing down at the card. "Harry Potter, I've got about a million of him. Do you want it?" she held the card out to Nika.

"Oh you don't have to worry about a present, I get heaps anyway. Rich parents remember! Didn't get a party though, my brother's pretty weak so we couldn't have people over." she shrugged, she wasn't too bothered. She'd already seen a few people today! Including Conan... O__O

With a flip and a perfectly executed walkover, Anastasiya, or Anastasiya the Flexible as she was more commonly known for pretty obvious reasons, emerged in the rest area pretty happy with what she had just performed.

The Russian eighteen year old, who's back story was as equally interesting as her ability to shove her leg next to her head up in a perfect heel stretch, led her to a lifetime of travelling around in a Carnival, miles away from her native home and away from her family. Still her love for Gymnastics over ruled the pain of being constantly away.

Now where to next?

Emily walked over to take a seat at the rest area. It was tiring being so excited! She sat down and sipped her pumpkin juice, just to nearly choke on it. Was that girl... doing a flip?

Emily watched in amazment as the girl did the walkover and coudn't help but clap her. "That was so cool!" she said smiling. Was she part of the carnival as well?

Before Anastasiya could think of somewhere else to go or whether to grab a small refreshment for herself, walking around performing tricks could get exhausting after a while, a young girl started speaking to her.

Alarmed that her English would not be good enough to answer, although travelling with the circus had certainly improved her skills, her cheeks flushed bright red as she took in exactly what she had said.

"Vank you" she spoke, lifting her leg behind her head as she stretched her muscles even further. She didn't want to cease up before the Carnival had even started. She smiled at her, greatly appreciative of a compliment.

Emily watched curiously as the girl lifted her leg and smiled back. This was so cool. She wished she was as flexible as that. The splits would be a cool thing to show people.
"So are you with the carnival?" she asked sipping more juice. Stupid question really. Why else would she be doing all these tricks for?
She blushed but continued to smile. "Um, your very good. I wish I was that flexible!" Then she could do gymnastics so much better than her sister for once!

Bonnie walked up to the rooftop and perched herself on a bench, a broad grin spread over her face. SHE WAS OFFICIALLY OUT OF LEARNING-NESS. She was finished Hogwarts. Crazed!Girl smacked her lips and waited for her older sister to turn up. ...still waiting.

The girl, for she was still young herself, smiled at her expression on her face. She liked making people smile and impressing them with her skills. It was what made the Carnival for her. The reaction on peoples faces when they saw the rides and the various wandering carnies.

"I am. I am vat you vould call a Contortionist" she grinned. "I travel with ze carnival all over the World" And got to improve on her English skills as she did. It was all very exciting, even if she was doing it for a very serious reason.

"Vank you" she blushed again. "Vy don't you do Gymnastics? Zat is vat I vanted to do as a child" she nodded.

Contortionist! That was the word she was looking for! She'd seen one before at a muggle carnival back home. Of course, this one was much better!
"Wow, that sounds fun!" Travelling all over the world, seeing the sights, meeting new people. Mabye she should join a carnival too?

"Oh I do. But I've just taken it up, so I'm not very good. My sister's been doing it for years though!" Although she was no contortionist. Emily coudn't help but smile at the idea of her back flipping over her sister and landing in the splits. It would centainly impress her!

Even though the carnival was just getting started Damon figured that people would already be coming to the rest area. After all with all the excitement at carnivals it didn't really take long for people to start feeling tired.

Heading over to an open bench Damon took a seat and looked around. Spotting a fellow work member in his Department at the Ministry he gave the girl a little nod and a smile. If he remembered correctly she was here to help keep the place clean and assist with the recycling bins, wasn't she?

Fun? To an outsider it might have looked fun, but to her it was no just her job. "It can be. Meeting ze new people and going to new places. But I miss my parents. Sometimes I just vant to go back home" her expression changed for a few moments before turning back into her usual smile.

"Ah I zee. Vell you should keep doing it, it takes a few years before you get really good. Ven I might be zeeing you doing this" she flipped backwards, narrowly avoiding some of the other spectators that were dotted around.

Elliot was lost in thought, trying to ignore her ABSOLUTELY ANNOYING little sister when she was ALMOST kicked by an acrobat! Gah! Elliot's face flushed instantly.
"Can you please watch where you do that?! You almost hit me!" she said sharply, scowling as she said this. Elliot was not enjoying this at all. She wanted to LEAVE.

Danni skipped up and down, giggling as the pretty lady did pretty fliiiips! She clapped as she almost Ell. Ha! The eight-year-old stuck her tongue out at Elliot.
"OOOh, you almost hit Siissssy! DO it again! Pwease pwease?" she asked, standing on her tippy toes. She flung her arms around crazily, excited as anything. She wished she could do those pretty flips. She smiled at the lady innocently. "You're pretty!" she cried, breaking her hand away from Elliot and about to walk up to the lady.

Elliot rolled her eyes and leaned back in her chair, thoroughly annoyed. "Danni, don't bother the lady, for Merlin's sake," she mumbled, grabbing her sister's hand again. Although she had almost hit Elliot in the face. Gur.

Anastasiya did not like scowling faces and raised voices. She turned around at the sound of someone talking to her and not in the usual tone she had received from others. "I'm zorry" she blushed. Although she KNEW she would never hit anyone. She always made sure that she was precise upon landing and steered clear away from others. It was part of the act. "I vould never hit you zo" she informed her nodding.

But then a young girl had walked over and looked excited. "Aww. Zat is very kind of you" she told the small child blushing again. She decided she had better not flip in fear of the older telling her off, so instead she lifted her leg right up by her face and leant to the side to push it even further. Her blue leotard and skirt all in one shined in the summer light.

"Oh" Emily said suddenly feeling guilty. She didn't realise she'd left family behind, especially because she knew how touchy that subject could be. "Sorry. I never thought about how much you might have to leave behind." She always got on the wrong sid of people.

Her expression changed back into a smile again though watching her do th back flip. She clapped. "I'd love to be able to do that. Can you do the splits?" For some reason that always impressed her.

For the first time in her life, Kita regretted wearing heels. Sure, she loved heels and preferred them to sandals, trainers and flip flops, but there comes a time in the day when your feet start to hurt from wearing too heels too much. Maybe this called for a change?

... NAH!

With a smile still plastered on her face, Kita took the last step onto the roof of Ollivander's and looked around. It was... weird. For a roof, that is. Lovely but weird. Was it always like this?

The brunette readjusted her bag before making her way towards a table and a couple of chairs. She sat down on one of the chairs and looked around. Boy, she could get used to this.

Dani walked along, adjusting her cute Ray Bans as she walked up the steps to the designated 'rest area' whatever that was supposed to mean. She looked around and saw the chairs and went to sit down at a nice table in the sun, before she looked around and saw Kita nearby.

She waved over straight away- "Hey Kita" she said as she made her way over, the juice drink she'd bought earlier still carried in her hand, she took a sip from the straw before sitting down opposite Kita and smiling widely as she put down her bag.

Getting slightly sick of them, Kita took off her heels and decided to rest her feet on the grass instead. She didn't even care about the dirt or muck or any of it. Her feet were aching after the hours of shopping and she deserved a rest.

And anyways, she was too busy looking over at the carnival. It was fun to see all the people running around doing various things. Especially the little kids. Their excitement brought a smile to the young girl's face.

Hearing her name, Kita turned around and smiled at the blonde girl who was making her way over. "Hey Dani," she said, "Enjoying the carnival?"

Dani sipped on her drink quickly and smiled before putting it down on the table- "Yeah, it's great! I came with my brother Luke and my niece Lana, but he took her off to go on the kiddie rides, she's really enjoying it. It's so cute" she smirked a little as she sighed and rested back in the chair.

"How about you?" she asked her friend softly as she fiddled with the charm bracelet that she had on.

Luke and Lana? So Dani had come with her family? Boy, was she lucky! "That's sweet," Kita said, smiling at the thought of a little girl running around dragging an older boy along and demanding to go on rides. Reminded her of herself... "And what about you? Going to hit those rides as well?" she asked.

Herself? "I came here on my own," LONER! "So i decided to come here first before heading off to the rides." Who knows, she could really do with some food. But eating before going on a ride is just plain stupid. And Kita wasn't stupid. SNORT!

Dani nodded and giggled a little- "Yeah, I've been on that Ferris Wheel with Lana already, she absolutely loved it!" she smirked as she pushed back her curls and sighed happily. "Three year olds are fascinated by that sort of thing" she laughed.

"Aww, well- we can stick together then!" she said softly as she nodded assuredly and smirked at Kita happily.

"It iz fine" she smiled and nodded reassuringly. "I miss zem but I know zat I am doing vell and zat zey're grateful for my help" And that they will be proud of her living half of her dream.

The splits? "Zey were ze first thing zat I learned to do." she stretched out her legs and ended up in a perfectly executed splits. "Vy don't you show me vat you can do?" she asked smiling. The woman stood up and moved away from her, clearing a little space.
