The Worple and Warmsley Magical Travelling CarnivalThe Worple and Warmsley Magical Travelling Carnival is here for the first time in Diagon Alley. Sponsored by all your favourite shops of Diagon Alley, the carnival is here for the summer! With magical rides and games, food stalls, knick-knacks and entertainment, this is a party for all ages that you won't want to miss.
Fancy a ride on the Magical Ferris Wheel? Only at Worple and Warmsley can you encounter a ferris wheel even taller than the London Eye. While the London Eye measures up to 443 feet, or 135 metres, our ride reaches an incredible 500 feet, or 152 metres. Each basket on the wheel has been enchanted to fit four people at a time; please do not attempt to squeeze in any more. Each basket is also equipped with one pair of sightseeing goggles for the curious rider to gaze out at the horizon that they tower above.
Please do not hang out of your baskets or rock them back and forth; we have taken many safety precautions and performed protective enchantments, but there is no guarantee that tomfoolery won't lead to endangerment.
Happy travels!
OOC: Feel free to interact with the Magical Ferris Wheel Carnie, Jean Lilliput (princess of*hp*), chat, play and please keep your hands and feet inside the basket at all times!

He was quiet as Ellie explained why she was happy. When she started talking about how she was going to die, and about how her fourth year was so bad, he grimaced. Yes, he still didn't like talking about her curse. It just... wasn't good, even if she was cured and wasn't going to die. But then, she said that he was the reason she was happier than she'd been in years. That sort of shocked Dal. He didn't know what he could have possibly done to make her that happy. Besides help save her life, or whatever. If you could count what he did 'helping save her life.'
"I -" Oh! Nevermind! Lookie here! "We're almost at the top," he said, nudging the arm Ellie was leaning against. "Look!"
O__O They were at the top?
Ellie popped her eyes open and looked over the edge, but still kept a good grip in Dallin. Just in case a giant gust of wind swept her out of the basket. It could happen. When she caught sight of the view, Ellie's jaw dropped and a gasp escaped out of her mouth.
She could see the whole of Diagon Alley; she could see pretty much all of London. "Merlin's beard..." Ellie whispered, and then laughed a little. For no apparent reason. "This is amazing!" She told Dallin, as if he didn't already know. Ellie stared at the little people at the Carnival. They were all so teeny!
Fee Stood in front of the huuge ferris wheel. The blonde had always loved ferris wheels and she was more than stoked to get on a ride. The sight you got when you were all the way up was unbelieveable. To beautiful to believe. And being on a ferris wheel kinda made her feel like flying. Not the same as on a broom but still.
It seemed to be pretty croweded out here today,so the blonde had to wait some time to finally get on.But who was there to blame? This canrival was fabulous. It was really great that it came to Diagon Alley,no one really expected that.Aaaand in addition the Slytherin would maybe see some of her friends here.It was really complicated to find an appointment, when everyone was on vacation at some time of this summer.
He wanted to get on Ferris Wheel. Something finally .. which was just so taller than him. Orlando's whole head was falling back as he looked up at the beautiful thing. HE WANTED TO SIT ON IT AND SEE STUFF.
But he had to wait. Wait for his best friends to arrive. For Hayley to arrive. HE WAS WAITING. TRYING TO BE PATIENT. BUT HE JUST COULD NOT, ANY LONGER. THEY NEEDED TO COME.

One arm crossed over her chest, she gazed unblinkingly in their direction for a moment, before asking, "Just two, or do you's plan ta have more?"
Wheeeee! Hayley Diggory was, without a doubt, enjoying her day out. Her big blue-grey eyes couldn't seem to look far enough ahead, couldn't seem to take in enough of their surroundings as they went. Hayley squealed, happily trying to lean over and reach for him as she announced, "Auntie Kat and Uncle 'Eggen took me to the carnaval!"
Had he really just told her to hurry up? Katie stared after Legend, eyebrows raising. Hadn't she told him earlier that they needed to come? Yes, yes in fact she had. He was the one who thought it wouldn't be necessary. And here they were, weaving their way through large crowds of people while trying to locate the ferris wheel - which was easier seen from afar than it was found, - as well as find the soon-to-be Seventh year Gryffindor boy- young man. Thankfully, Orlando was rather tall too, and Legend was leading the way anyway.
Deciding it best to ignore that comment and simply follow after Legend, Katie quickened her pace and kept close behind the pair, not allowing herself to be seperated. Finally, Legend came to a stop and greeted their friend before she had even spotted him. A small smile formed on her lips at the sight of her too-tall best friend, "Hey Lando," Katie greeted, moving from Legend's side to hug the boy. Though it was a little unnecessary since it hadn't been more than a few days or so since they'd last seen each other, Lando still got a hug. "What have I told you about this growing thing? I thought we agreed you'd stop that," she added rather seriously, though amusement shown on her face.
Stepping back as she released him, Katie let her gaze wander up and over to the ride for a moment, not even bothering to try to find the top of it before looking from Legend to Lando and back again. "That thing is a monster, you know that right? Better hope Hayley doesn't have a fear of heights." Katie wasn't sure if the child did. It wouldn't have been such a surprise, but Savannah had never mentioned it to her. And well, if she didn't have one already.. Hearing another close voice, Katie turned her attention to the carnie woman that had addressed them. Another glance was stolen at the two young men before she answered, "Four, actually." Or.. three and a half, however she wanted to look at it.

Marilyn had never been to a carnival...and she knew she had been missing out! Everything was so colorful, shapes, strange, and odd. She was experiencing a sensory overload. Nothing she'd ever done in her life had seemed this exciting.
A lot of people from school had been there, too...but the blonde had shied away from them. They were hanging in groups and that just wasn't Marilyn.
Deciding on something calm before she went to get her face painted, she approached the Ferris Wheel...It looked simple enough. It wasn't fast paced, while she could appreciate. The seats were good and secure, which she felt easier about...and there wasn't that long of a line.
This will have to do...

Making a quick headcount of the group of youngsters, Jean nodded. "Go 'head, lads an' ladies," She spoke, wondering whether or not her carny attire scared the youngest of the bunch. Maybe. Jean was used to people being scared of her, anyway, whether or not she was on the job. Gesturing with her wand, she pointed at the nearest empty basket.
Looking at others, some of them seemed to be dawdling around by themselves. "Step up, folks, step up!" Didn't these people want to make friends? Jean knew she wouldn't mind going on a ride in a group of strangers, but maybe it was different for customers with clique-centered mindsets and whatever else went through their heads.

Caroline had finally made it over to the ferris wheel after riding Carousel, with a seven year old, who was also named Caroline. She was really to hanging out with people more her age. She was hoping that she would find someone to ride with her that was more her age.
Noticing the line wasn't to long she when a head and got in line. If she seen someone she would just sneak them into the line with her. But after that thought she noticed someone who was familiar in front of her. This should be interesting. "Hello, Marilyn." She said. Hoping that she wouldn't regret this later. "Want to ride the ferris wheel with me?" She added a slight smile after the question.

Marilyn had been standing there...maybe five minutes when she heard a voice right behind her...Turning slowly, she seen...Caroline?
Um...Okay...The blonde had not see that one coming...
"Uh, hello." She bit her lip turning to face her fully. Her cousin was smiling timidly. Marilyn had to commend her for doing this. It was obviously hard for her..."We can do that..."

Caroline twisted her lip. This was her being nice, as nice as she possibly could be to Marilyn. She really wanted them to be more civil toward each other than her and Marie were. She knew that even being friends with her was far fetched. So maybe just being nice to her was enough. She could sense a smile bit of nervous tention bewteen them.
Sighing, I did feel better to know that she hadn't maded a complete fool out of herself.... yet. The smile grew stronger, but still not one of her brightest. She nodded and moved up in the short line, that was moving pretty quickly. Hopefully this ride would go quickly and smoothy too. Imagen what it would be like if it got struck.
Could it get struck? It was a magically ferris wheel.

Marilyn was a little hesitant...This wasn't a set up, was it? She glanced at her sideways, quietly surveying this girl. Perhaps they could move past the harsh words and build a cousin relationship...
Not to mention this was Carter's ex-girlfriend...Did Caroline know that she and Carter were talking again...

Dallin sat up straight again, smirking at the grip Ellie had on him. Was she seriously afraid of falling? Because, yeah, it would be a very long way to fall, but... ahem. Anyway. He wouldn't complain.
He nodded, silently agreeing. It was amazing. They could see so much - even houses in the distance looked small. Not to mention the people on the ground at the Carnival. "Look at that," he breathed, leaning slightly over the side to looked at the ground. Funny - they were up this high and he was looking down. "Wow." He wasn't really talking to Ellie; the view was just amazing.
"Romantic?" he asked suddenly, turning back to Ellie with a smirk on his face.

Caroline shallowed the lump that had gotten in her throat. Beging to wonder why her cousin had so quickly accepted the offer to ride with her. She put her faith in hoping that this was for the best. After they were family, it was worth a try right? This summer she had learn that family is just as important than everything else in life.
She stepped up somemore and when it was time for them to in their car. She a smirk it wasn't like she'd try something this soon"You first."

Marilyn sighed, climbing into the small car first. A sense of dread was pooling in her stomach. She was unsure how to respond to Caroline really. There was one thing she, as a girl, had never been subjected to...and that was jealousy. When she'd seen this girl with Carter upon first coming back, it had been...painful.
So...painful...
This wasn't her cousin's fault entirely, though. Carter had dated the whole family, it seemed. Ugh, and she REALLY hated that Marie had dated him. Oh MERLIN, she loathed that girl.
Clearing her throat as Caroline got in, she said, "So, how've you been?"

"Very smooth Nikolai." she said giving him a nudge back.
Mia looked up at the ferris wheel and then back to Nikolai. "Yeah but still. It would be fun to sit up the top and look out at all the buildings and stuff. I bet we could see our house from up there." Okay slight exaggeration there since they lived in Moscow. The ferris wheel was big but it wasn't that big.
But apparently the carnie lady didn't want to stop the wheel so that they could look at the view. She was probably too busy counting all the money in her head that she was about to get. Mia handed the woman some money and tugged Nikolai onto a carriage.
Like Mia didn't already know he was smooth.
Okay, so he really wasn't. But Nikolai sure did like to pretend; it went well with that big ego of his.
Grinning, he glanced at the ferris wheel once more and he couldn't help but chuckle at Mia's comment. He would have liked to stay up at the top and see the view, too, but he didn't think everyone else on the ride would have liked that much. "We could always find another way to see the view." It wasn't like they had to go home as soon as they were finished at the carnival. And speaking of home, he raised his eyebrows. "Do we have another house that I don't know about?"
Because as far as he knew, they would not be able to see Moscow from fifty feet in the air.
Shaking his head, clearly amused, he watched as Mia handed the woman money, which he felt weird about; he should have paid, he let her tug him into one of the carriages. Once inside and seated next to her, Nikolai wrapped his arm around her and handed her the sightseeing goggles. "There. Maybe you can see our house with them."

'If you can get this chocolate off of me, you get it! Now, your terms?' Rose grinned. 'Unless you're...' Is she gonna say it?
'Chicken?'
"If that's what you called bright yellow and black" he replied, glancing again at the people, not of which met that description, they were all in dim colors, some wearing bright colors but mostly dim. "Quidditch" he said, without thinking but being up this high all he could think about was flying.
"You know, I've always wondered why they call it milk chocolate" he said, again without thinking, he realized he probably sounded stupid, one of the ingredients must have been milk. "And I'd watch out, you might fall off the edge, from this height, that wouldn't be very good" he said.
Chicken. No way would he allow anybody to say that about him. "Sadly for you, I don't have a beak" within a second he was on the opposite side of the basket right next to Rose, "oh hi" he said.

Isobel studied his face, trying to judge his expression. She couldn't tell if he was indifferent, disappointed, mad, or...what? She really wanted to know how he felt, but she could not figure it out.
"It was an assignment; we had to go around like we normally would, but looking like them to see what it was like to be in someone else's shoes. An assignment. To drink a Polyjuice Potion and turn into someone else and walk around like them basically lying to everyone else in a round-about sort of way --
What kind of teacher would create an assignment like that?!
The ferris wheel continued to bring them further up -- about half way to the top at this point. Damien was continuing to process all that Isobel was telling him. She didn't seem to recall the fact that Maybelle (or rather Isobel herself) brought up the fact that the two girls talked about people they liked ...
Then a thought occured to him. "So that means that Maybelle was walking around as you -- right? At the same time you were walking around as Maybelle?" Ugh, now his head was really starting to hurt. Damien rubbed the back of his neck with the hand that asn't holding onto Isobel's. "Do you --- know a boy with a sort of bowl hair cut? Sort of blonde shade in colour?"
''Great i'm not alone'' Luna laughed she was starving and she was glad the were going to eat!
''Well she said she'd be around here somwhere emmm?'' Luna looked around for Abbie ''She's not my real cousin by adoption I didn't even no she was going to Hogwarts untill today'' Which seemed awfull because well just plain awfull really
''Luna!!!'' said Abbie and she rushed over to her ''And you must be Presley or Rachel Luna's told me a lot about you'' Abigail grinned she seems nice no wonder Lu's such great friends with her wonder why the other girl is not there probably gone exploring somwhere it's so cool here!!! Abbie thought

you![/I]" The short ginger lady raised an arm in the air, waving him over. "Choo ridin' o' not?"
Sean looked around, puzzled. Uhm..
He heard a woman shouting, and turned on his heel. Well yeah, that was actually a quite good question. But Sean panicked, and started backing away, shouting "Oh, uhm no! No - sorry" he said, and hastily turned around.

It seemed to be pretty croweded out here today,so the blonde had to wait some time to finally get on.But who was there to blame? This canrival was fabulous. It was really great that it came to Diagon Alley,no one really expected that.Aaaand in addition the Slytherin would maybe see some of her friends here.It was really complicated to find an appointment, when everyone was on vacation at some time of this summer.
...... and bumped right into another girl. Nice one, Sean
"Merlin! Oh wow, I'm - I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to --- are you all right?" he asked, looking concerned at the girl. She seemed about the same age as him, with short blond hair and the prettiest face he'd ever seen. Sean grinned. "Somehow I always end up meeting people this way" he said, and held out his hand. "I'm Sean. I'm new here. Oh, and really really sorry about all of this!" he added with a chuckle. "Not the best way to impress a girl"
Danielle smirked as she held his hand and the ride started to move- "Off we go" she laughed as she looked down before moving and resting back on his shoulder. "So, I was thinking- candlelit dinner tonight? A dip in the pool?" she smirked at Philip.
Philip sighed and smiled at Dani. "That sounds wonderful." He whispered, squeezing her hand tenderly.
The past week of hanging out at the Carnival had proved itself to be extra fun for Louisa. And more importantly, a mind distract-er. She needed both so bad this summer.
Walking to the middle of where it's settled down, she watched the games and paid attention to the kids running around either giggling or eating sweets or something. The balloons were everywhere thanks to the jelly-tummy man, the 'wow's were loud thanks to the lady who could bend her body around.. or something. It couldn't be anymore cheerful. And for once, the Ravenclaw girl did not hold a book under her arm as she strolled looking for a new adventure. Either on her own or with a friend. Because after Dallin, there was no adventure pal- she was convinced of that.
''I was looking everywhere for you really EVERYWHERE!'' Abbie explained and laughed
''Abigail!!! Oh this is Presley!!! Presley Abbie or Abigail Abb's this is Presley one of my best friends and we think Rachel's in the bathroom! my other best friend'' said Luna it would be great if Presley knew Abbie because somtimes she might hang out with her it would be great if they werein the same house but it would be easier if they weren't
''Really?? Why we were here for ages really!!'' said Luna
