Tyler watched her, he started at her blankly as she jumped off the broom, he didn't move, nor was he planning on moving. "I'm not a dog" he mumbled, still sitting comfortably where he was a few minutes ago. "You fly it" he said.

Okay so he wanted her to fly. She was okay with that, just as long as he wouldn't get mad if she wasn't too good at flying. "I never said you were." she dsaid to him galring a little as seh looked at him. "I thought you wanted to." she stayed where she was not moving. He said he wanted to fly so why didn't he? Was he afraid or soemthing?

She took a piece of her hair and staretd fiddling with it again. Why did boy's ahd to be so diffivult when it came to making choices. Couldn't they just choose and not procastinate.

"You implied it" Tyler replied quickly, he could already sense the angry bubbling in the air. If she didn't get on the broom in a few minutes he'd be out of here. "Nessie, just fly it, it's no big deal" he said as he sighed. This was turning bad already. He continued to stare at her as she messed around with her hair. "Are you just going to stand there or what?" he asked.

"I did not." she said now offended. She wouldn't imply something like that so easily. She continued to stand, he was now getting on her nerves. She should have probably gone away when she had the chance. "Maybe I should just stand there, especially if you going to act like a jerk."

She didn't know what made her say it, but she did. "Sorry..I didn't..um.. mean that." She said a few minutes after she called him a jerk. She wished she could be her old self, but no matter how hard she tried she just couldn't. "Whats happened to me?" she asked him putting her hands over her eyes, because they seemed to be getting a little watery.

This was a waste of time, he could almost see what was going to happen already. They'd argue for no reason until one of them got hurt or thought of a sensible idea to leave. He jumped off the broom, it didn't look like either of them would be flying anywhere anytime soon. "Maybe I should just leave if you're going to act like a..." he stopped himself, calling each other names and upsetting each other was going to get them nowhere. "If you're going to insult me" he added.

"Yeah, sure you didn't" he replied, as he stood there. "Only you can answer that yourself" watching her get more and more upset, he wanted to hug her but he too afraid of being pushed away.

Ness continued to cover her eyes, afraid she would burst any moment. Although she could here Tyler jump off his broom. He was going to leave her now? That was nice of him she thought sarcastially, but she had been more worng herself at least he stopped half way. "Im sorry." she said again moving her hands from her face. She honestly was sorry.

Was he being sarcastic? She couldn't tell. "I really didn't." she said making him believe her. He just had too, she was telling the truth couldn't he see? 'Only you can answer that yourself.' the words echoed in her head repetetively. She turned around as she felt wet drops fall from her eyes. She was sucha cry baby. She used cry about such stupid things. She wished Tyler wouldn't be angry with her, couldn't he be a good friend.

"Why thank you," Sarah laughed, "I do try to be entertaining."

Amethyst wasn't really all that slow, maybe she could even beat Sarah in a race. After all, they both seemed to be really taking to the brooms.

"Indeed," Sarah said, "Let's race." she moved her broom to the edge of the rink, "First person who goes all the way around, back to this spot wins."

Amethyst nodded in agreement to these rules, after following Sarah to the edge of the rink. "Sounds good enough." She chuckled softly. "On your mark.."

"Okay..." Tyler said, he continued to watch her, keeping his distance from her. "Erm... Are you okay?" he asked, another stupid question, it was clear she wasn't but he didn't manage to stop himself before asking it.

Was that all he was going to, just stand and watch? That was nice of him she thought sarcastically. "Does..it..look..like..im..okay?" she asked a getting more upset now. Tyler should have known she wasn't okay even before. She hadn't been behaving right at all. Couldn't he see?

She looked at her bag with Puffles inside it. She wanted to escape again, but Tyler would have thought she was a coward so she kept her place still not facing Tyler.

Freya was glad that her friend didn't ask her why because she didn't want spoil her carnival trip. "Oh. that sounds good." she gave Lara a small smile.

"Ah. To bad. I thought that they'll give us the broom for free." And then she'd have a new broom for this term because she really wanted one. "Umm..I dunno. I never ride one." she said. "But they just a broom. So I think it won't be so difficult." Right? "No. I think it won't. Want to give it a try?" she asked Lara.

Brad moved his hands around the edge of the broom and moved his thin frame to get a better seating, the broom really wasn't that comfortable for him but it would do for the time being. As he made better his seating he had kept a close eye on Emily - the corner of his eye - he knew she'd head towards him straight away and not make any kind of loop. He was ready for her aim and quickly aimed his broom away from her only just skimming the edge of her as he flew away.

He smiled to himself at the miss his friend had made and turned his head to look towards Emily, "You'll have to do better then that!" He called over to her laughing. A moment later he gripped his broom once more and turned it towards Emily to make his own hit. It really wasn't as good as his own broom.

Sarah settled herself comfortably on the broom, "Get set..." Sarah waited a bit to make sure Ame was ready, "Go!"

Sarah urged her broom forward, only looking ahead, resisting twisting around to see where Amethyst was.

BAH! she had missed, only managing to get a slight bump on him as he flew off in the other direction. No matter she'd get another chance.

Do better? Oh he was asking for it now!

Emily couldn't help but laugh again as she watched Brad aim directly at her, she ignored all the other people as well. If he thought he could get away with aiming for her well he was in for a rude shock. Bracing herself, Emily leaned forward on the broom grasping the hideous handles (it just did not feel right) and urged her bumper broom forward, heading toward him as well. This was bumper brooms... so she wasn't about to avoid the bump. That would be ludicours

This was either going to be bad... funny... both, or other. Other being one of them chickens out. And that was not her. No Emily's nerves were made of steel, at least when it came to this sort of stuff. It actually reminded her of quidditch practice back at school. Between Jacob, Deus, Jimmy and Finn it was a surprise that they had managed to field a full team. But at least she could handle being a little rough.

Heh.

"Come and get me!" she yelled out, half expecting Brad to change directions.

He was laughing, just laughing, as he zoomed around the place. This ways fun and he didn't want it to end. At least he got to spend some quality time with Emily..as friends though. Better than nothing though. Brad turned his broom around once more and headed towards Emily. She was doing the same.

The laughter stopped coming and all that you could see in his face was concentration. A lot of it. He gripped the handle of the broom harder an leant over meaning he started going faster. Only a little the brooms weren't that good.

He continued to head towards her and she did the same to him. He wasn't going to back down, but the world did seem to slow down a bit for him. He wondered if she would turn at the last minute and he wasn't. He'd hit her head on.

"Don't think I wont!" He called back to her.

Emily was having such a good time. She'd missed Brad... no matter what, she'd always have a soft spot for him, he was a great guy, and she couldn't help but like having him around.

She chuckled lightly as Brad engaged her with this adrenaline-filled game. He was heading for her at full speed, just as she was toward him. She wouldn't back out. She wasn't like that. Some called her brave, others foolish... and some, just a down right idiot.

She braced herself for the collision.

The crash wasn't anything he'd expected. Granted he didn't call off his broom - thank god - but still he felt his whole body fall forward then back. Ouch. That hurt his neck. The crash was over in a few seconds and he felt himself pelt backwards out of control. With on grip of his hands he had himself under control and moved to get out of the line of yet another hit. He needed to recover.

His head hurt.

Shaking his head a little he looked over his shoulder at Emily, to see her reaction. He hoped the crash hadn't hurt her or anything. That would suck. Big time. Brad continued to whirl around the compound waiting for the right moment to go in for another hit.

Much to Emily's surprise Brad hadn't chickened out... good. But at the same time the force of the bump had shocked her, and rattled her... and sent her flying in the opposite direction. Gah! Damn her and her light weight. She struggled to regain control of the stiff, horrib poor excuse of a broom!

"BLAH!" she grumbled and she struggled to steer it toward Brad again, bumping a few other people out of the way to get a direct aim at him.

Ugghh... her head hurt, and her shoulder? Did she pull a muscle? Ouchies.

Ignoring the pain-- because she was pro at that, she focused all her energy on Brad, he seemed to have slowed somewhat, good. Now it was time to get him again.

Leaning forward she increased the brooms speed to the maximum it would allow-- which was still far too slow for her liking. She was laughing again, Brads hair was a little out of place, ruffled by the impact. It was an interesting look for him, and she could only imagine how hers looked. But she didn't care. Right now it was time to bump.

Heh heh

BUMP!

Okay so he hadn't expected the second bump. He'd been expecting his - well THE - broom and gathering his seating again. You know the usual. So obviously he hadn't seem Emily heading towards her and then hitting him. GAH! This did not help his head or neck or muscles. He bounced away from her once again and span round in a circle.

HE HATED THIS BROOM!

It really wasn't doing him any good. Whatsoever. But at least this time he wouldn't make the same mistake and spend all the time staring at his broom. He did remember shouting; "GAH!" As he span away now however he was concentrated on his destination...

Emily's broom.

"You'll pay for that!" He called over to her laughing once again. Without a moments thought he aimed towards her bumping and pushing people out of his way. He leaned over his broom once more to gather speed and...

BUMP!!!

Right into the side of her broom.

Heh! BOOYEAH! What a hit! ... Emily rebounded back from the sheer force of it, but managed to swiftly compose herself and fly off into the crowd of other bumpers. In comparison to her and Brad they were weak.. noobs!

She did sort of feel bad for hitting him hard, he hadn't been expecting it by the looks of things, and hearing him yell brought tears of laughter to her eyes.

This was fun. ... but sore. Her butt wouldn't be the same after the ride, and her head hurt... and her shoulder still ached.

It wasn't until she heard Brad call after her that she realised he was hot on her tail again. BLAH! MERLIN! Trying desperately to speed away-- because she wouldn't be ready for the impact, she looked infront of her, and then quickly back to assess how close Brad was... and

BAM! right into her side!!!.... "Eeeeeekkkk" she squealed as she flew off and into some of the other flyers.

Oh... really?! Well he was in for it now!!!!


"I'm coming for you Brad!!!" she warned. Oh he was in for it now. So totally in for it.

And so she went to make another bump.

It was sort of good that she was so light, it meant she could catch up to him quicker. Angling up beside him she flashed him a bright smile, before thumping into the side of him.


"Aaaarrggghhh".

That hadn't gone to plan. The momentum had sent her flying to the side so hard she thought she might ahve whiplash! Stupid light weight! Ugh!
Emily closed her eyes... she could imagine Brad having a field day with this.

The bump had sent him flying quick far away from her, his shoulder was beginning to ache and his hands were hurting from where he gripped the broom hard. He loosened his grip and whipped his head round in search for Emily. He couldn't see her and was about to make a trip around the arena in search for her - past all the other slow boring people on brooms - but then she shouted at him. Ha.

"Bring it on!" He shouted back at her before turning in the direction of her voice. He would get another hit in before she did he just knew it! but sadly she beat him to it. The bump she produced was far bigger then he had first thought. He was thrown god knows how far away from her, he cursed his poor observation skills.

Now his whole body ached, this was not good! All he really wanted to do now was go to sleep, stretch out his poor bones. God now he sounded old! Brad turned the broom to face Emily and began to laugh at the way she looked. "Okay, Okay I give up! You win!" He called over her still laughing.

Once she had regained control of her broom, flexing her fingers around the handle bars, she turned to find Brad. Where'd he go?
Emily blew at her the hair which had found its way into her face, clingling to her eyelashes unflatteringly.

Just as she had wiped her hair away from her face she hear Brad's voice carry over to her. She couldn't help but smile. All the pain had been worth it, even the messy hair was worth it.
"Whats that?" she asked mockingly, "You... you surrender?... You surrender to me?" She couldn't help but make the most of it. Sure he had beaten her in that duel, but finally she had gotten one back. She gave him a wink before letting the broom descend so that she could disembark.

She groaned as she swung her right leg over and landed on the ground in a not so swift motion. Yep... she was going to feel it bad tomorrow... maybe she'd skip her morning run and have a bubble bath instead. Then again a run would loosen up her muscles, so maybe she'd just suck it up and deal with it.

She looked around to see where Brad had gotten to, and felt a twinge in her neck. "Ow!"...
Ugh. She needed a drink now. And she deserved it.
"Loser buys the winner a drink?" she asked, assuming Brad was near her.

He knew she was going to taunt him about giving up and he so wanted to stick to the game and beat her but after that last hit he hurt. Just hurt all over and wanted to take a nap of go for a run or something. Beside's the brooms weren't that good and didn't help when you wanted to be fast and catch up to your opponent. Sigh. No matter he'd get back to her another time.

He followed her lead she zoomed towards the ground where he landed lightly and clumbered off the broom and nearly into the ground. Smooth. But he hurt, god did he hurt. "Don't worry i'll get you next time" He joke bumping into her side as he grew level with her. When she shouted ow after touching her neck he grew worried but knew how much she hated that so instead laughed lightly.

Loser buys the drinks? Well he should have seen that coming he thought as he smiled and linked arms with Emily. "Fine but next time I win your buying the drinks." Haha.

Merlin!

What had she done to her neck? and her shoulder?... and her whole body. Sigh. It was painful, but she was getting used to it, pain seemed to play a big part in her life, and she was thankful. It made her tough, and as a little trainee auror, she needed to be tough. The guys didn't take her seriously enough. But she could do it.

Emily didn't even wince as Brad nudged her in the side. She was relieved mostly because she didn't want him fussing over her as he often did. As sweet as that was and all...
She did however, let Brad link arms with her, and she stuck close to him, not trusting her own legs to carry her far. Pain pain pain. She would survive.
It's all in your head Morgan, just suck it up and move on, she thought to herself, hearing her thoughts in her fathers tone. Pfft.
"If you win," she corrected Brad, smiling up at him as they began to head off, "And that's a pretty big if." She loved stirring him up. They were... in many ways, so much alike. It was certainly humerous.

IF he won? Ha, Please he was so going to win next time. She was just jealous. Bradley began to laugh at the as they made their way away from the game, "You wish. Your just jealous because I can actually beat you!" He told her giving her side a poke. He had half the mind to go ahead and tickle her but that would have been awkward. Beside's he wasn't sure if she was actually ticklish, he was a little bit. Ha. "Must I remind you of our Duel a few months ago?"

No instead he turned his head to smile down at her, Emily being shorter than him. "So Miss Emily where would you like to get a drink? As I'm paying" He asked winking at her, He hoped she said The Three Broomsticks. He liked that place.
