So I actually work in management in the car repossession industry, which is... just as soul sucking as it sounds lol I specifically work with Impound yards where a vehicle has already been seized either due to accidents, law enforcement, parking violations, abandonment ... etc. My company works as a middle man between tow yards all across the States and the impound lots. So essentially, my department's role is just call yards and get the information for what's needed for pick up from the bank, and then send the received materials from the bank to one of our contracted tow companies. It is not my favorite line of work that I've done, BUT the work from home has been amazing for my kids and Mom-ing is my most important job role so for the time being I'm content enough.

One thing that IS interesting though, is that I've gotten to form such solid connections with different people across the states and the people I get to talk to daily are really interesting. I live in CA but I've got a 'Mom' in NJ, been proposed to from NY, and connected with a guy in CO who answered his phone while driving home from vacation in my tiny hometown lol There are a lot of SSers I want to meet all over, and in most of those areas there are people I've met through work I would absolutely stop in to see and meet in person as well.

I'm a freelancer! So I work in a variety of fields like social media management, search engine optimization, website design, and copywriting. It gives me a lot of flexibility which is nice.

I'm also currently travelling and so in order to make it affordable and sustainable I pick up jobs in exchange for a free or cheap place to stay. I have worked at hostels, on farms, and currently I'm teaching conversational classes for English as a Second Language

I was a university librarian (...and recently was able to quit my day job to devote more time to being ...), also an actor and writer.

I have worked in various fields from Customer Service, Receptionist, IT Specialist and engineer in the past. Currently, I’m a Test Analyst (basically Quality Assurance Team for Software Applications) working remotely for overseas clients in Singapore. Yeah, we’re not very well liked among programmers.

I'm a mental health therapist who specializes in working with children and adolescents, though I've started branching out into working with adults as well. I'm currently in my third year of my PhD program in clinical psychology so give me a few more years and I'll officially be a clinical psychologist

I'm about to start an 8 week paid internship at Goodwill.
Orientation is next Tuesday (Dec 2).

That internship has been completed and I am now working at a plant nursery.
