Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, or good night depending on what part of the world you are in as you read this!

My name is Pixie and I am one of the mods you get to bombard with questions for the month of May! *throws pixie dust everywhere*

On site, I currently RP as Kurumi Hollingberry in the school RP where I hold the position of Gryffindor female prefect, a member of the RP's yearbook staff, and played as Seeker for the Quidditch team for a few terms. I am also a shopkeeper and run the Leaky Cauldron in the Diagon Alley RP as well as have a character in the Ministry of Magic RP who works for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

Outside of the RPs I am a mod for Platform 9 3/4, the Japanese forum, and Gringotts. I also mod the Tom Felton and Sirius Black Fan Clubs and co-mod the Hermione Granger Fan Club and serve as one of the graphics officers for the House Elf Fan Club. I also am one of the Potterwatch DJ's, so be sure to tune in!

Off site I live in Japan where I work as an English teacher at two elementary schools and am a prop at one Jr high school. I love soccer, making graphics, and am obsessed with my somali cat, Kingsley. Outside of Harry Potter, I am a Disney fanatic and got married at Tokyo Disney Sea in September.

Um um um um...would you believe me when I said only once? I dunno, I've just never been one of those people who SPAAAAAAAAAAAAM votes for those sort of things.

My favorite thing about being here...hmmm...that is a tough one actually. There are a lot of good things and bad things, but I think one thing I do like is that it has made me much more independent. As a foreigner living in Japan, there is no one I can really depend on but myself to get my point across, so I have to be the one to go out and get things done. Of course, language barrier and culture shock still happen, but those are not too much a problem for me anymore

THEY ARE GOOD young adult books and pretty quick reads, but I still go back and read them sometimes.

My cellphone No joke. I feel lost when I don't have it with me. I have a smart phone and it just has everything on it... when I don't have it with me I almost feel naked

As for things I hate....um....maybe this potato chip grabber thing I've seen. It is like a claw...just for picking up potato chips Seems pointless and always snaps the chip in half.

Uuuuuum...well, I like A LOT of anime, but I also love Japanese architecture. Old buildings, temples, and shrines are just amazing to look at. However, having been to Kyoto more times than I can count on my hands, I am sort of templed out

I also love having seasons - which I know you can get elsewhere - but Japan is especially sensitive to these and the way you greet someone can vary based on the season. Not to mention the festivals

Of course there is some of me in Kurumi. I think it would be impossible for there not to be. although you are making me blush with that good student comment. I was always an overachiever in school, much like Kurumi is, and was sort of soft spoken like her as well. Her insecurities are also partly based on personal experiences.

We aren't the same person by any stretch of the imagination, but out of all the insane people I play on SS, she is the one closest to me personality. Thank goodness

did you say.. KYOTO? Kyoto is very beautiful, especially when I came there in early week of December 2009. It was full of ginkgo and red maple tree and I saw people wore kimono everywhere.

Actually...I don't think I have in the Japanese forum. It is a new snack this past year...or maybe I have *goes to check but gets distracted by kitty and ends up not moving at all*

I love Kyoto been there for all the seasons, but I think spring is my favorite time because of the Maiko Odori. One of the most beautiful and purely Japanese things I have ever seen.

and...the thing with festivals is come summer there is one LITERALLY every day

Fireworks festivals pop up all over the place and those fireworks displays last for an hour and are AMAZING But, erm, Yuki Matsuri (the snow festival) in Sapporo during the winter is one that stands out.

I suppose I don't think Kingsley makes a conscious decision on this though. He tends to be around when Roselyn is though. I think they share a psychic kitty connection

and 150 Pokomen...most likely. Some of the newer ones freak me out

1&2 ) Well...there are really just a whole lot of IFs with that to be honest. Do I think being a professor looks like a lot of fun? Yes. A SS staff person was actually one of the first people to reach out to me in the RP and include me in a lesson. As a newbie then, this made me SUPER happy and I wanted to get involved more. So, would I like to be able to bestow that same spark in members? Who wouldn't?!

3) on SS, all classes are fun as each professor can bring their own personal touch to them. IF I were a student attending Hogwarts, however, I would be all over Astronomy and Care of Magical Creatures. Probably Transfiguration as well

In real life, I was almost a math and computer science major, but I have ALWAYS loved languages.

4.) In all honesty...I would probably use Accio all the time I can be so lazy sometimes and just don't want to have to move to grab something

Dear Patriceykins,

I am doing quite well. Kingsley had another shower today that he relished in and then basked in the sun while I hung the laundry. He is getting more fluffy! He is currently grooming me (yes, licking my hair and all). Lunch and breakfast were the same, but he got a little bit of dried crab slices as a treat for lunch. I always do, but I shall give him more.

Like...seriously... Actually...some of those I picked because of their songs Like... Frollo's song Hell Fire is just like... GAH! I get chills

Well, Kurumi is actually based loosely off my host sister back when I was an exchange student, I lived with a Japanese family for a year and first year Kurumi is a pretty strong reflection of how my host sister was at that age. So, I love my host sister and she is like an actual sister to me - she is almost 16 now - so I think I would totally be friends with Kurumi and probably be jealous of her at the same time.

Plus.....she has cookies. I like cookies...

Oh gosh....GOOD questions. Um...

My first reaction is actually Luna. I was always considered the weird one in the class for liking Japan, or liking to read, or being the only girl to play sports at recess with the boys... I was sort of picked on for standing out and not fitting in with the crowd, but that was me. I didn't want to be like them. I really admire Luna A LOT because she doesn't try to change to fit what people expect.

In terms of Disney characters....that is a hard one. In all the personality tests I take online because I am a nerd I usually get either Rapunzel or Belle. I like to think this is because I have a big imagination.
