Hihi! I'm Maxie - and known by a LOT of variants of that name - and I shall be one of your mods for the month of June. 
I joined SS... in 2005? *checks* 2006. XD Right now, I'm a FanFiction Moderator and the Charms Professor in the School RPG. Before, I've served as the Gryffindor prefect, the Runes Professor, and Head of the Dept. of Mysteries. I love to write, and have written for all of Snitchseeker's publications at some point or the other. I'm one of the current co-editors for the SS magazine, SotS.
Off SS, I am... *drum roll* a student! I'm hoping to study engineering or business administration, and I have entrance exams coming up. DO WISH ME LUCK! Eep. I can't decide. I've had SO much fun RP'ing all of them, and it's impossible to pick just one! I invested the most time in Gold, though. That might be because I had to show how hard-working and spotlight-loving and socialite-ish she was. She was just... the kind of person who's always conspicuous and prominent and in the limelight, so I ended up RP'ing her the most.

Hey, Maxie! I see you like Calculus. In Harry Potter there are core subjects covered (eg- potions is like science class, history is like history.) BUT they do not have a specific reading/writing class nor a math course. Wouldn't you think that some basic of each would be important even to wizards? Why don't you think JK Rowling did not include those classes, especially being a writer?
