 Hello friends! 
For those who don’t know me, I’m Jess. Hi! I am the Mod you get to meet for FEBRUARY!
I’ve been on Snitchseeker for almost 9 years now (goodness), joining way back when Pottermore released the Magical Quill challenge. My moderation journey began in 2015 when I joined the Hogwarts Staff, and remained on the team for nearly 2 years. I’m currently one of the FanFiction and Newbie mods, and have dabbled around a few other areas within the magical site.
I first heard about Harry Potter when I was 10, and my 4th grade teacher read us the Philosopher’s Stone. It truly was love at first read, and since then I have travelled to London twice to visit the Warner Brothers Studio Tour, do a Harry Potter walking tour, and got to spend my birthday last year watching the Cursed Child in Melbourne.
Away from Snitchseeker, I live in Australia with my favourite person and our dog, Luna  . I’m a neonatal nurse, and my current favourite things to do are; read, play The Sims, travel and plan out dream vacations, watch Survivor and Grey’s Anatomy, and cuddle my pup.
Anyway, come in, have a cup of tea with me, and ask me your questions!

1. Uh that's so hard haha. Probably two of the books that I love to re-read the most are The Girl in Times Square and Tully by Paullina Simons. But also Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman, and Wild by Cheryl Strayed have stuck with me.
2. Oooo another hard one. I don't think I have a FAVOURITE, but I enjoy Izzie Stevens in the earlier seasons. I also liked Addison, and Arizona Robbins. And Denny, ugh </3 - just to name a few

1. Uhh... HMM... I think it was seeing the doors to The Great Hall that just set the scene. And also the wardrobe/makeup/wig etc. section, that was pretty cool.
2. OOOH I think I always wanted to work with babies, but it wasn't until my time in Haematology and Oncology came to an end about 2 years ago that I had the opportunity to start working with neonates. And I enjoyed it, was very interested in learning about that area and was fortunate enough to continue work there
3. UH at the MOMENT it's Antarctica, I'm hoping by February 2022 I'll have been there.

1. So you've been to almost alll the houses (i think. I don't think you've been a Hufflepuff yet, but I forget o.o) but what would you say YOUR Hogwarts House is??

Loveeee you mmmymyyyyy NAME!TWINNY I am very supportive of tea and Luna pet time, yes I am  and so is she 
1. This is true! I was debating Gryffindor vs Hufflepuff, but at the time I felt more like the character was a Gryffindor. IRL I've been sorted by Pottermore as a Ravenclaw, but I also identify with Hufflepuff. So maybe a bit of a Ravenpuff?
2. Ahh I reckon working in a book shop would be pretty up there. I always wanted to, but it never happened. I love my job though, so it would be very hard to want to leave. I think hardest is probably dealing with 'difficult families' because some of them just make taking care of their child incredibly challenging. My favourite thing is tied between cuddling babies, and the fulfilling feeling of knowing I did something (usually so little) with a big impact.
3. UH WELL now that I am rostered I need to figure out annual leave and such  but BUT I'm WANTING to explore the US a bit more in a few years
