Hello Snitchseeker family! For those who don’t know me, I’m Jess. Hi! I am the Mod you get to meet for FEBRUARY!
I’ve been on Snitchseeker for almost 8 years now (crikey), joining way back when Pottermore released the Magical Quill challenge. Pottermore sorted me in Ravenclaw, and Snitchseeker sorted me in Slytherin! In 2015 I joined the Hogwarts Staff. I had a term of teaching Transfiguration, and four terms of Potions (with two terms of Gryffindor Head of House). I’m currently one of the FanFiction Mods, Scribbulus Writing Implements Shopkeeper, and a School Yearbook Scribe.
My Harry Potter journey started when I was in Primary School. Our teacher brought in the first book and it was love at first page. Like all of you, my love runs deep. My mum bought me the books on their release dates, I saw the later movies at the midnight releases, travelled to London (twice) to visit the Leavesden Studio, and go on walking tours. I got a Harry Potter tattoo, and I'm currently looking forward to April when I get to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child! 
Away from Snitchseeker, I live in Australia with my favourite person and our dog, Luna  . I’m a paediatric nurse and I work permanent nights. I love; reading, sewing, cross stitch, crochet, board games, tea, dancing, dresses, travel, writing, podcasts, and MORE.
Anyway, come in, have a cup of tea with me, and ask me your questions!

Haha it might be my masterplan
1. I do  it's my choice that I do nights. I just don't like the hustle of day shifts and the messiness. And plus, when it's quiet, I get to SS/Read
2. Maybe a few xD haha. The most recent thing, and I think I may have just stood there blinking for a little while, was when a father of two (3 year old, and an 3 week old) didn't know why his baby was crying in the cot. And I suggested he change the nappy, and try and burp him. He said 'I don't know how to change a nappy.' and... yeah  so I showed him but I'm not sure he was paying attention
3. Mostly Ravenclaw, but a fair chunk of Hufflepuff. I don't think I have much Slytherin in me  but I was very excited that I got to play a Slytherin on site, even though Zhenya turned out to be the world's biggest Hufflepuff xD

1. I loooooooove it! I'm getting so strong now xD I think being able to do the hard tricks is such an accomplishment, and I've always loved dancing and particularly the flowy contemporary dance. Also getting more confident.
2. She's perfect we're wanting to get her a little sister at some stage, and Tim would love a Husky.

1. Neither My parents and most of my family love AFL and I grew up with it on but I never got into it. I'm not really into sport.
2. I love it with lots of butter on a crumpet 
3. I love Tim Tams! IDK if it's possible not to?
4. Haha no, again I don't really like sport. I think I've disappointed my parents a bit there xD
5. Not really, even though I've always lived within 10 minutes of a beach. I like walking along the beach but generally when it's cooler. And beach sunsets are beautiful

1. OH! At the moment Russian Railroads, Dominion, and Carcassonne. My partner and I have been playing lots of KeyForge too. And we've been playing Pandemic Legacy 2 for a few months now, that's a lot of fun.
2. Not really, I don't enjoy it when I have a huge move planned and it gets thwarted
3. IT'S SO GREAT! I have two RL friends who likes cross stitch xD more online friends. I think a pair of lobsters I made for my future in-laws for their engagement. It was a bit of an inside joke thing, and my partner designed the 'A&J' letters. Plus it was the first project I'd finished and framed, totally complete.
4. Any black tea I have with milk, but I don't do sugar. Most other teas I like a bit of cold water because I'm inpatient 
5. :O I don't think there's many words I don't like I'll go with 'like' for my least favourite, only because I use it too much and I feel influenced by it favourite is... discombobulate xD

1. Ooooohhhhh!!! I have! In November 2015, I vaguely remember we had a chat about it. I think you interviewed me for Art, for yearbook? Hmm either you were away, or I'd already left Scotland? I cant remember. But holy moley, I fell in love with Edinburgh and the Isle of Skye I'm very keen to head back sometime!
2. I loved it so much I mean, the doors to The Great Hall were surreal. And the reveal was just... *tears* I'm not sure you can call that a prop lol.
3. I got it done on July 31st xD its Hermione's wand, with 'Expecto Patronum' written, a little pink paw print for my dog, and blotches of colours surrounding the words.
