I'm Hera, though most snitchseekers know me as Emily or Emz, and I'm one of the mods you get to meet for the month of September!
I don't want to ramble too much, because I want YOU to ask me questions, but I'll give you a basic rundown of what I do on the site and who I am in real life.
I've been a member since 2003, though I was inactive for a large portion of the time. I'm currently a fanfiction mod and I'm also the Potterwatch mod (and I hope you tune in at some point so we can get to know each other better).
In the School RPG I play the Herbologist and Gryffindor Head of House Seren Bentley and I also play the pyrotechnic maniac of an auror Emily Browne in the Ministry RPG.
I'm 23, live in Australia and I'm a teacher!
I can't wait to meet you all or get to know you a little bit better, so without further ado... ASK ME QUESTIONS! Just read the below first (;

1) Thursdays or Saturdays. Thursday is my easiest day at work and Saturday is relaxing and I don't have work the 'next day'.
2) YES! I have a dog, her names Gemma and she's a Blue Heeler cross Kelpie.
3) I'd love a horse... and a pomeranian XD
4) Wow... um.. it'd have to be one of the history ones, but I couldn't pick. I love modern history but the seminar on medieval history was awesome.
5a) Books: Harry Potter! Hunger Games! Anything by Lisa Unger and.... Jane Austen!
5b) Movies: (books movie adaptions inclusive) Inception, Bourne Trilogy, Wuthering Heights and... anything smart-action
5c) Music: Anything Linkin Park, The Fray, The Script or OneRepublic ohh and The Civil Wars and Punchbrothers (guitar/piano... alternative-ish stuff)
Ok sure if you say so.. ahh so you do bite.. sometimes.. well I must be careful to avoid that, I do see that Bentley like Flesh eating plants so that must be where she gets it from.. you!
Ahh thats good, now we know which day is easy on you... mmm. Yeah thats true no work on Sunday.. Sleeeeepp!!
Aww nice dog ... ahhh so one big pet and one small pet.. then you teach the Pom to ride the horse with you.. lol
Oo history.. good choice! Ahh yes Medieval history was good when I did it in school all those years ago

1) Errmmm... I think I'd have to lean toward half blood. Cause my dad sucks at muggle stuff... but if he was of wizarding stock... I'd say he be a squib XD
2) Boggart would be spiders... or dead loved ones... spiders seem more likely. As for my patronus. I have no idea. A horse? Orrrrr.... a fox.
3) I think I'd be an owl kinda girl. But cats are cute.
I sort of do XD... and by sort of, I mean I know my dad is an O... and I'm fairly certain mum's a B.. as for + or - I wouldn't have a clue.

Oohhhh brilliant questions!
1) I love the people. The people are what make snitchseeker awesome, but with that being said I don't know if I could isolate ONE part of the site I love the most... there's just so much going on.
2) I like all sorts of books, classics, crime fiction, fantasy.. you name it, and I'll have at least one book of each genre.
3) Mmm not necessarily. I think it was more just my passion for learning in general and knowing that what I do makes an impact on the lives of my students. It's rewarding.
4) ... That's hard. I like the culture (to an extent and it depends on your interpretation of what makes 'Australia') but I think the best thing about it, is our focus on sport. Plus, I'm used to Australia, so just that familiarity is comforting.

Good questions. Well.. I'm a fan of HP for a number of reasons, but predominantly because it's SO FRIGGIN COOOL! Like, insanely cool. Who in their right mind wouldn't want to live in the HP world? We could FLY! and do cool things with wands.
As for joining snitchseeker, it was the fanfics that brought me to the site, but it was the people that made me stay.
