The Office of Gidyun Yenorin A spacious office is right outside the waiting area. Connected to his office is a medium sized conference room, where Gid might hold meetings with other members of the ministry that might appear from other locations around London. Void of much of his personal items, he still does have a picture of his family on his desk. Very few books appear on his shelves, only the few that he brought from home. Still remember! Be very careful of using magic in Muggle London! If you use magic, there might be a muggle just around the corner watching. ooc: Feel free to play muggles for each other and their reactions! |
Strolling into Gidyun's office, Charles put his now disconnected computer down on Gidyun's desk and then straightened up, looked around the room and walked out. He wasn't going to be dealing with all this newfangled stuff. Gidyun could put the computer anywhere but back into the office he'd claimed as his own. |
He headed into his office, after finally doing one last check around the offices and making sure everything was ready for the employees. Why in merlin's name, everyone had to have computers was beyond him. He had one at home that he and Becca used but he'd not used it for work at the office. Now to get used to having that as well, maybe he'd just...wait, what in merlin's name? He stared at his desk where the computer and monitor and everything else sat. Who...and why? Looking back to his door, he shook his head and started getting all the extra equipment out and heading back to reception to have Constance get rid of it. Whomever it was, obviously didn't want the computer. Sighing he went back into his office once it was all taken care of and sat down in his chair. |
Cynthia crept in. She wasn't sure if she was welcome. Her boss was inside the office, which she noted was much larger than her cubicle. Glancing at a photo on the desk, she cleared her throat, beginning, "Good morning, Mr. Yenorin. I'm Cynthia." Wait, she'd already said that in the work area. "Do you think we could use portkeys to regain access to the ministry?" She finished with an I-should-be-taken-seriously-ish scowl, hoping she didn't come off as nervous. |
With one quick Knock ,Stephen strode into his bosses new office. Once in there he checked out the spacious office. He liked what he was seeing, he had to admit it seemed pretty comfortable. Which brought him to why he was here now. "Chief I think its time we had a little talk" .Yes because with this new move to the Muggle world he was losing sleep and what better way to get over his insomnia than getting a nice incentive for his troubles? |

"Portkeys unfortunately take us to random places, and have been worse than the apparating and floo's. We've had to obliviate a few muggles when we've appeared in front of them with a portkey." Yeah not a pretty thing to try and explain... Standing there holding a toothbrush and appearing out of no where in the middle of someone's house? He shrugged and sighed shaking his head "We need to get in, but everything we've tried so far has blown up in our faces." He had caught the bit about Stephen needing to talk though, so he looked to Cynthia first to see if there was anything else, "I assure you we're doing everything we can. I'm hoping maybe someone in our level might have an idea though, that we haven't tried. We've even tried the loo that was used years ago, and all we got were wet feet." |

Something clicked Stephen somehow hadn't registered that someone else was in the office as well. he looked and noted one of the rookie employees. It would appear they were talking about getting back in the ministry. Well while it was one of his top priorities to get back to the Wizarding world ministry, This also was a priority he had been meaning to talk with Gidyun about. "So I'm thinking that it was time I got myself a swanky office like yours only better, you know?" Cubicles just weren't cutting it for Stephen he was a guy with rich taste and a cubicle area wouldn't be enough to express that. "So I was thinking of using the all the unused area to kind of make myself a office/gym/library/theater?" "Also I've reached out to my contacts for anyway they think we could get back in,i should be hearing from them soon" |

"Yes, Mr. Gidyun, sir," she said. She was aware that he probably didn't like "sir" either, but it was too late now. "I should have realized." |

"The foreign relations officer, is an important officer, but you still have 2 other people that you work side by side with. And I think you would better fit precisely where you are, with your coworkers. I have a bigger office, due to the meetings I need to have with people and need some privacy." When he said about his contacts, he nodded "Wonderful. As soon as you hear I'd love to hear of their ideas." Quote:

"Okay, got it," she replied. Cynthia nodded and left the office without waiting for a dismissal. |
Walking up to the door, Meredith gave it a few quick knocks and quietly opened it. "G'morning Gidyun." She said with a smile to the man sitting at his desk. "How're you doing?" She asked, walking slowly into the room. She smiled kindly at the two other unfamiliar faces, "Morning." She said to them, giving them both a small wave. Turning back to Gidyun, "Would you like me to come back later, sir?" Mere said. She had really hoped that nothing had been interrupted by her entrance. |

Merlin, he wouldn't be surprised if he did take that closed off area and do something. Already 2 offices had been taken... |

Cynthia had come in again. Everyone was looking at her as if saying, why'd you leave so abruptly? She heard her boss's words to...was her name...Meredith? Miranda? She nodded approvingly at her coworker's new job. Why was someone on leave? It wasn't her business to know, but she wanted to. "Has anyone seen my scales?" Cynthia asked. She needed to put them back in the Testing room where they belonged. "Accio! Accio!" Ugh, they must've been out of range. |

"That seems reasonable" For now Because yes he would be addressing this once they got back to the ministry."I understand with the way things are we have to keep low so after we get back to the ministry we can re-discuss" |
