Welcome to the flat of Dafydd Johanson and Hartley Stonewall located above Scribbulus Writing Implements. As you enter through the front door, you are greeted with the sight of the open living room and dining room combination. You can do what you want with this space, whether that be adding a a dining table to the left hand side giving a comfortable location to eat or have the room just be one large living space. If you walk all the way through the living room, there is a sliding glass door leading out to your personal balcony that looks out over the Alley. This is a great space to sit to drink your mid afternoon tea or early morning coffee - or the perfect spot for a little garden!
As you walk further down the hall, the entry to your left is where your kitchen can be located. Kitchen comes equipped with all the necessary appliances, dishwasher included for those who prefer to give their spell casting a break. Right across the hall from the kitchen is a cupboard that can be used for storage space.
Directly next to the storage cupboard is a door leading to the first bedroom. This room is slightly smaller than the master, but still a decent amount of space - closet equipped with a sliding door to contain your belongings. Or if you don't need room for an extra bed, this is perfect for an office space or studio for whatever your artistry is.
A little further down the main hall, and you'll encounter another door on the left side. This is where the main restroom is located. Main restroom includes a single sink, toilet, shower and bathtub. Cabinets and a medicine mirror give plenty of storage space for your toiletries as well.
The last room at the very end of the hall is where the largest bedroom resides, with a walk in closet and an en-suite half bath included. The walk in closet has plenty of built in shelves so that you can layer your shoes and personal effects, while the bathroom has a single sink and a toilet for use.
All rooms have plenty of windows for natural lighting, and in the kitchen there is a little booklet provided by Nesting Occamy with phone numbers for leasing agents and maintenance for any issues that may arise. Scene 1:
October of 2114: Daf and Hart have secured their flat and are finally moving in together.
Characters:
Dafydd Johanson (Zoe)
Hartley Stonewall (FearlessLeader19)
Him proposing prematurely to Dafydd may have resulted in some degree of heartbreak but at least they had finally moved in together. Hartley took this as a positive sign that someday his boyfriend would accept a proposal… if Hart could find the courage to do so again, that is. However, that wasn’t on his mind right now. What was, was this flat! The Historian was absolutely in love with it! One thing was certain: he and Daf would definitely be comfortable here. Plus it helped that they were right about Scribbulus. With him being in university still, stationery was always in demand for classes, homework and projects.
Speaking of university materials… Hartley was currently magically severing the tape from one of the many boxes that held his and Dafydd’s belongings. This box held textbooks from his previous two years of study. They were to be shelved for now in the convenient bookshelf of the flat should they be needed for reference. “How’s it coming along with you, babe?” Hart asked Daf. “Need any help?”

Dafydd looked up from the pile of kitchen utensils he was attempting to organize, a warm smile tugging at his lips as he heard Hartley's voice. The flat already felt like home, and just being here together, finally sharing a space, filled him with a deep sense of contentment.
"I'm doing alright over here, though I think these pots and pans have multiplied since I last checked," he chuckled, running a hand through his hair. He still had that giddy feeling from knowing they had taken this big step, moving in together after everything they'd been through. The premature proposal had been a difficult moment to navigate as he did not feel quite ready yet to make that leap, but it hadn't changed how much he loved Hartley.
"Actually, I could use a hand once you're done with that box," the healer admitted, glancing at the remaining stack of items that still needed sorting. "But no rush, babe. You've already unpacked half the flat while I've been waging war with these kitchen drawers."
There was a light in his eyes as he looked around at their new home—their home. He couldn't help but feel proud of them for making it here, together.

Hartley began arranging the books from the first box in alphabetical order according to title. See, he was more likely to remember the names of the books rather than by author so his chosen method of organising would work best for him. As he began playing them on the topmost shelf, he laughed softly at his boyfriend’s words. “Quite sure that’s the amount we had all along. Maybe it all seems a lot because everything we owned separately is now in one place.” Saying that, Hart realised he already missed Evan; they had been flatmates for a few years and their friendship had developed into a strong one during that time. Hartley made a mental note to check up on Evan soon.
The comment about ‘waging war’ made the Historian laugh, and he put down his books in a neat pile without a second thought. Sure, Daf had said there was no rush but maybe Hart just wanted to be close to him white they settled into their first place as a couple. That was why he was soon at the kitchen’s entrance where he leaned casually against the wall as he watched his boyfriend surrounded by all the boxes and utensils. Hartley felt very content as he stood there silently observing the other young man, his heart bursting with love for him. Dafydd was looking around the kitchen but Hart had eyes only for him right now. | |
