99. Newspaper

Justin yawned, his mouth open wide. This staying up late studying was getting to him.

"You've got some serious halitosis happening there Justin" Ernie said from across the table. "Pop a breath mint or something" he added.

Justin tried to smell his own breath, but he couldn't smell anything particularly stinky. Although he hadn't brushed his teeth that morning.

Susan came and sat next to Justin, before kissing him softly on the lips.

Ernie stared at Susan.

"What?" she asked.

"I'm waiting for Justin's breath to kill you" Ernie replied. Susan threw the newspaper at him.

20. Hogsmeade

Justin and Hermione were walking down the main street of Hogsmeade. They passed The Leaky Cauldron, and stopped outside a shop called 'Le Petit Poufireee'. It looked very... pink. Justin had a quick glance around to make sure none of his mates were seeing him enter the shop.

Hermione led the way inside and stopped in front of a display case full of sparkly things.

"I think Susan would really like that" Hermione said, pointing at a photo frame that had pink crystals all over it, "And then you could put a photo of the two of you in there".

13. Quidditch

"You need a broom? Why?" Mr Finch-Fletchley asked Justin.

"It's for flying on Dad" Justin replied, getting increasingly frustrated.

"And why would you want to fly on a broom? Aeroplanes are much more comfortable" Mr Finch-Fletchley asked, scoffing slightly.

"Well, to play Quidditch for one" Justin started.

"You've got an itch? Where?"

"QUIDDITCH, Dad. It's a wizard game that's played on brooms. There's three kinds of balls and three hoops..." Justin's Dad looked like his brain was about to explode. Justin frowned and went to try and find his mum to ask her for the money.

12. Charms

Justin really did quite like Charms class. Really. He just wasn't very good at concentrating on what they were supposed to be doing. It was no surprise then, that as Professor Flitwick was telling them about Cheering Charms, Justin wroted down in his notes Chairing Charms.

When it came time to practise the incantation, Justin had a very clear mental image of an armchair in his mind as he flicked his wand and said the incantation.

When it came time to practise the spell on other people, well, lets just say poor Ernie had to endure upholstery jokes for the rest of the term.

60. Joke

Justin groaned. Ernie had just started telling Hannah his Wonky Kneazle joke. Justin had heard this joke at least twenty times, and it wasn't even remotely funny the first time. He also had a sneaking suspicion that Hannah had heard it before by the way her eyes had glazed over slightly.

If only there was like the humour police Justin thought. Ernie would be locked up and sentenced to 20 years for telling bad jokes, and 20 more for repeating them constantly.

Ernie finished telling his joke and Hannah laughed politely. Justin knew she was faking.

14. Hogwarts, A History

Apparation Lessons. Justin was as excited as anyone else in the room. Perhaps even more so. He was already imagining tormenting his parents.

He was trying to look like he was paying attention to what the instructor was saying, while looking around to see if anyone looked scared.

He turned to Ernie and laughed quietly. "I can't wait to scare the first years by apparating into their dormitory in the middle of the night"

*cough*

It was Hermione Granger, who was standing behind them.

"You can't apparate inside the castle. Honestly, haven't you read Hogwarts, A History?" she asked, exasperated.

86. Daring

Christmas time in the Hufflepuff Common Room. Sure there were less people than the rest of the year, but somehow the level of noise and rambunctiousness was three times normal. Professor Sprout had a right mission trying to get the students to bed each night, and they would dare each other to do silly things to her.

One night it was Justin's mission to steal her bunny slippers. He snuck out of the common room and along the corridoor to her office. It was late, but he stopped when he heard voices behind the door.

77. Cheerful

Justin looked up as Susan walked over to the table, a spring in her step as she carried a plate of mashed potatoes. She was hardly an enthusiastic cook at the best of times, so Justin was understandably confused.

"Why are you so cheerful today?" he asked, bewildered. He hadn't seen her this happy since their wedding day six months before.

Susan beamed at him as she set down the potatoes and sat in her seat opposite. She flattened her skirt for a few moments before answering.

"I have news" she started, pausing for effect.

"I'm pregnant"

38. Patronus

"I can't do it" Justin said, flicking his wand in frustration. He wasn't normally one to give up so easily, but he was getting increasingly frustrated. It didn't help that there was an otter, a unicorn, a stag and a lion running around the room of requirement. Justin felt like he was the only member of the DA that hadn't produced a corporeal patronus yet.

"Sure you can, you just need a happier memory" Susan said, smiling at him and patting his arm for encouragement. He grinned at her and set his mind on the task at hand.

26. Quill

Dear Susan,

I hope your summer holidays are going well. I've been bored out of my mind, stuck at home alone. I really wish my parents would let me visit my friends over the holidays. They don't even like me having Peaches inside the house, but where else can you keep an owl? They keep trying to make me do muggle things like go to the movies.

Don't mean to complain, I hope to see you soon

81. Depression

Justin didn't know what to do. In fact, he couldn't remember ever seeing a boy cry before. The first year was sobbing on the bottom stair to the boys dormitories. If only he wasn't in my way... Justin thought to himself. If only Ernie was here to do his prefect-y duty and see what was wrong with the depressed boy.

"Uhhh - what's wrong?" Justin asked, stepping closer to the boy.

" I got beaten up by these Slytherin Bullies" the boy sobbed.

"Been there, done that" Justin said as he listened to the boy's story.

21. Veela

Justin's eyes were on his omnioculars as the Bulgarian Mascots entered the stadium. But all of a sudden there was a pull, a tremendous pushing, forcing Justin to look up and see... the most beautiful creatures in the world. Justin's mouth fell open, and all he could think of was getting closer, closer to the gorgeous girls. He ran, reaching out his hand, so close to the hair of one of them, so close he could almost touch the silvery threads of hair.

"Justin - wake up. You having that Veela dream again?" Ernie's voice invaded Justin's dream.

28. Timeturner

A dinner party... Not exactly Justin's idea of a good time. But Susan had insisted, so they'd invited the usual crowd, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ernie, Hannah and Ottery around for dinner. Susan was stressing in the kitchen, Justin was torn between wanting to help, and wanting to keep out of her way in case there was flying cutlery involved.

Ottery volunteered to get the spoons out of the drawer.

"What's this?" he asked, holding up a small hourglass-shaped object.

"Nothing!" Susan said as she launched herself at Ottery, grabbing the object and stowing it down her shirt.

"That's a timeturner!" Ottery said, surprised.

61. Kiss

Justin was understandably confused. When Ron and Ottery had told him they were going to practise kissing in the Room of Requirement, he assumed there would be girls involved. He was bewildered to see the Roon of Requirement not filled with a bevy of beauties, but pillows. PILLOWS?

Justin shrugged, supposing that kissing a pillow was better than kissing the other boys at least - ew. He looked around, interested to see who would be teaching them proper kissing technique.

A dark figure stepped out of the shadowy corner of the room.

Cedric Diggory smiled. "Well lads, shall we get started?"

4. Ancient Runes

"Don't you have homework of your own to do?" Susan asked Justin one night in the Hufflepuff Common Room. She was trying to do her Ancient Runes Homework, but Justin kept trying to make towers with her runes she was trying to use.

"Why, am I bothering you?" Justin asked, mustering up the cutest face he was capable of making.

Susan laughed. "Nice try, but i'm not falling for that face. I've got to get this essay finished before tomorrow" she said, giving him her best stern look.

Justin laughed, leaning forward and kissing Susan on her cheek.

85. Snappish

N.E.W.T time at the end of seventh year - A time when friendships and relationships were strained, stress levels were skyrocketing and everyone was more snappish than a bunch of crocodiles about to be made into handbags.

Justin's method of dealing with the stress was just to not talk. At all. To anyone, not even Susan. This made her understandably upset, and for about a week she was positive he was about to break up with her, until Ernie told her that Justin hadn't been speaking to anyone for the last week, which reassured her.

30. Feast

Justin was constantly hungry, more so than usual. Ever since the professors had decided to serve only healthy food and the students were only allowed one helping, the incidence of growling stomachs increased dramatically.

Justin had tried to get his parents to send food, but they suggested a diet was a good idea. Even if they had agreed to send food, all incoming mail was now being searched by sniffer dogs.

Justin looked forward to going home for Christmas, pretty much just to eat as much as he could and store it all up for the next term. It would be like a feast all day long when he was on holiday.

3. Transfiguration

Justin liked to think he was rather good at Transfiguration. Mind you, he liked to think he was rather gifted at most subjects, even though most of the time he was mistaken.

So when Professor McGonagall told them they'd be transfiguring beetles into banana's, First Year Justin was overly confident that he'd get it right first try.

"Look Susan" he said to the hufflepuff girl sitting next to him. He flourished his wand and said "Betulium Fruitesco!", expecting the beetle to turn into a banana.

Susan laughed as the beetle remained unchanged.

51. act

Justin was pacing in front of the Hufflepuff common room fire, flinging his arms around and mouthing something. Susan just stood there laughing at him for a few moments before going over to investigate.

"What are you doing Justin?" She asked.

"Practising for my audition" Justin said, not stopping his pacing.

"Audition for what?" Susan asked, confused. He hadn't mentioned an audition.

"The school production. You said I could act" Justin replied.

"When I said you acted like a fool, I didn't mean that you could act.. oh nevermind" Susan said and left Justin to his practising.

76. Zap

Justin's parents had reluctantly agreed to let him have Ernie over to stay for a part of the holidays. Ernie insisted that Justin do completely muggle things with him, so they went to the movies, went bowling and rode their bikes to the mall. Everywhere they went Justin had to keep hitting Ernie so he wouldn't stare at the muggles, their money or their electrical goods. In one department store Ernie kept pushing all the buttons on the stereos and Justin couldn't help but laugh when one of them zapped Ernie with an electrical current.

98. Pajamas

Justin woke up on Christmas morning, and like every other morning that week he let out a large burp.

"That's still not funny" Ernie said matter-of-factly from the far side of the room. "Merry Christmas by the way" Ernie added, throwing a small parcel at Justin that turned out to be socks.

"Thanks Ernie" Justin said as he got up and went down to the Common Room. Waiting for him was Susan. She handed him his present, a pair of blue fleece pyjamas. They were so soft Justin had to put them on at once.

92. Chocolate

Justin wore his new pyjamas all day. He even went as far as to make everyone feel how soft they were. Needless to say when Justin, Susan and Ernie arrived at the Christmas Feast, the staff were a bit surprised to see Justin in his bright blue pyjamas.

"Feel my pyjamas!" he said, running up to Dumbledore who was eating a chocolate frog. He gave Dumbledore a bit of a fright and the chocolate frog fell and landed on the shoulder of the pyjamas, leaving a smudge of chocolate.

"oops, sorry Justin" Dumbledore said. Justin burst into tears.

69. Slap

Normally when Justin and Hermione studied in the library, there was silence. She gave such evil glares everytime he made a noise he was even scared to breathe too loud, for fear she'd snap his head off.

He only studied with her because she was good for helping with tricky questions.

But Today was different, Hermione kept giggling at random moments.

"What's up with you?" Justin asked, perplexed.

"I slapped Malfoy today. It felt good" she said, beaming.

"Brilliant! Shame I didn't get to see it, I love it when that smarmy git gets his comeuppance" Justin said.

6. Divination

Justin yawned again, careful to cover his mouth with his sleeve. Professor Trelawney had already told him off for yawning earlier, saying that opening his mouth so often was inviting evil spirits to enter.

Justin thought Divination was a load of codswallop, and he wasn't the only one. Staring into the Crystal Ball, Justin started to think of what was for lunch. An image of a hamburger floated in front of his eyes, and he blinked. Had he seen something? Did he have 'the sight'? He hoped not, because if Trelawney found out she'd pester him incessantly.

24. House elf

Justin rolled over and reached out with his hand, not even needing to open his eyes. He knew where his snack stash was by pure instinct. Groping around, Justin was disturbed to find the stash empty.

He opened his eyes and stumbled his way downstairs to find something edible. Halfway across the common room he tripped over something solid and fell, grazing an elbow.

"What the...?" he swore as he sat up to see what he'd tripped over.

It was a house elf.

"Are you okay?" Justin asked.

"Yes sir. I'm sorry I got in your way sir"
