55. Egg On

While working on the lawn, a couple loudly arguing could be heard from across the street. Setting his tools down and sitting on the grass, Tyler quietly enjoyed the argument along with his neighbors.

“What are you doing?” Lucy asked as she walked outside, to her boyfriend sitting on the freshly cut grass.

“There’s an argument and apparently all the neighbors are enjoying the brawl too,” Ty answered, pointing to all the people who had suddenly stopped to make their day a bit more interesting. “Smack him!” Tyler egged on.

“Shut up!” Luce hissed quietly, nudging him with her elbow.

48. Leprechaun

Lucy watched with raised eyebrows as her best friend and boyfriend tried on leprechaun hats for St. Patrick’s day.
“I like this one,” shouted Whit as she sported a glittery green one.
“Nah, I think this one suits you,” replied Ty as he switched her glittery hat for a giant shamrock. Lucy stared at both until they all cracked up.
“You guys are such dorks, you don’t need hats,” She pointed out.
“Aw Luce, don’t be such a party pooper, “ replied Whit as she poked her shamrock.
“Yeah Luce,” chimed Ty and he stuck the glittery hat on her.

65. Ooze

The Halloween before Nathan was born, Tyler decided to decorate the house with some edible ooze. But instead, place some of it on the living room television remote, so Luce can freak when she wanted to change the channel. Hearing the front door being unlocked, Ty quickly dashed to the kitchen and pretended to read the newspaper.

“Have you been home all day?” Luce asked, as she kissed his cheek and headed towards the living room.

“No, I went out and bought some stuff to decorate the house with,” he answered.

“TYLER!” Luce screamed. Guess she didn’t like the ooze.

52. Bore

Tyler’s mom thought it was a good idea to have a family meeting about seeing each other more often. But since almost the entire Way and Armstrong families were there, everything broke out into a huge argument. Few things went flying, which Luce and Tyler dodged, with their hands under their chins.

“Does this usually happen at family meetings?” Lucy asked, watching as two of his cousins decided to argue.

“It all depends who comes and what they say to each other,” he sighed. “Does this bore you as much as me?” The couple nodded to another and dashed outside.

27. Owl

“What happened to your owl, Pikachu?” Luce asked, as she prepared Spike for his morning walk.

“Suppose mom still has him, unless she decided to give him away. Which would cause me to never want to talk to her again,” Ty answered, joining Luce on her walk. “Maybe I’ll call her later to see if she still has him,” The walk was merely ten minutes when they returned and saw an owl cage in front of the steps.

‘He’s making too much of a mess, take him back,’ read the note from his mom. Laughing, the pair took Pikachu inside.

47. Portkey

Staring at an old plush toy from his childhood, Tyler was deciding whether to make it into a portkey or not. But then he wasn’t too sure of where the portkey might take him.

“Why are you staring at that?” Luce asked, pointing to the torn dog plush in his hands.

“I’m thinking about making it into a portkey, but not sure where it would take me. Maybe somewhere I can escape from you,” he smirked, setting the toy down and walking out the room.

“You can’t hide from me, Tyler Way! I’ll find you wherever you go!” Luce joked.

73. Warn

“Your mum’s coming,” Ty said as Luce came through the door.

Her eyes widened and she dropped her bag on the floor. “How do you know?” She asked cautiously.

Ty held up a note in his hands. “She sent a note by owl—2 minutes ago,” was the reply. Tyler watched as Lucy groaned loudly and then dragged her stuff to their room. “That’s not warning enough!” she yelled from upstairs.

Ty chuckled and tried to make Nathan look neat.
“It’s your mum, Luce,” he said soothingly as she came back down.

“She’s crazy and wants to steal our son.”

57. Gape

Ty and Lucy were taking a stroll around the streets of NYC one night, admiring the shops…and perhaps the people as well.
Ty had been very interested in a gold watch for five whole minutes while Lucy fingered a diamond necklace. Just then, a blonde woman appeared at Ty’s side.
Tyler looked up immediately and then did a double take. There was no doubt about it, the blonde was exceptionally beautiful; so the young man gaped at her. The blonde, however, did not notice--but someone else did.
WHACK!
“OW!!” Ty cried as he rubbed the back of his head.

83. Fearful

With a very distinctive fearful look on his face, Tyler tried his best not to look down as Luce wanted him to play Quidditch with her family.

“Can I just please get down?” He pleaded, his eye closed shut and his knuckled turning white from holding onto the broom too tight.

“But we haven’t started playing yet,” Lucy said in a sad tone.

“Do you want me to cry? DOES ME CRYING WILL FINLLY MAKE YOU REALIZE HOW BAD I WANT TO GET DOWN!?” Tyler yelled, eyes still shut and holding onto dear life.

“Fine, you can get down, loser,”

76. Zap

Tyler wanted to install light bulbs in all the lamps—the Muggle way. Even after countless attempts from Lucy about the dangers of electrical wiring and such, Ty wouldn’t give in. So now he was installing his first light bulb.

The redhead watched her husband tentatively.

“Be careful!” she yelled every five minutes.
But Tyler knew what he was doing and in 3 minutes, he was done.

“Hit the lights,” he said to Luce, grinning.

But as soon as Lucy touched the switch, she got a nasty shock—literally.
ZAP!

“OWWWW!”

“Whoops,” whispered Ty as Luce looked daggers at him.

74. X-tinguish

Trying to cook something new, Lucy took her day off as a day to experiment with ingredients and whatnot.

“Mommy’s going to make something special tonight,” But as soon as Luce pour something onto the pan, flames spurted upwards, making Lucy panic. Flailing her arms everywhere, the red head wasn’t too sure what to do, so she tried fanning out the flames. But that just made them bigger and rising her small panic attack. She grabbed Nathan and hurried to the living room as Ty walked into the kitchen.

“Take out it is,” he laughed nervously, extinguishing the large flames.

77. Cheerful

It was finally a peaceful and cheerful day at the Way residence, unless the kids decided to run around and break things again.

“Daddy, why is Natey so cheerful today?” Gissel, the youngest Way child, asked as she watched her brother jumped around the living room.

“Maybe because your mom caved in and bought him that new game I said he wasn’t allowed to get,” he answered, looking over at Lucy.

“Did not! He kept his grades up,” Luce said to her defense, just to see Nathan bump into a vase and break it.

“Do we deserve that?” Gissel asked.

66. Pace

“What are you doing?”

“Pacing.”

“I can see that but why?”

Tyler watched as Lucy continued to pace back and forth, hands behind her back.

“Did Nathan eat another sock?” He asked suddenly as his eyes roved the room for his son.

“No, no,” Lucy said, waving her hand. Finally, she sat down on the bed.
Tyler joined her and looked up expectantly.

“How do you feel about having another kid?” Lucy said very fast, trembling slightly.

Tyler was taken aback. “Uh…well, I dunno. It’s fine…I guess?”

“Great! I’m pregnant.”

Tyler looked stupified. “…Do I have to move out again?”

42. Portraits

Tyler finally got around to putting up the portraits of their children up on the living room walls and around the house. Why did they need to have so many baby pictures?

“Are you just putting those up?” Luce asked, making her way to put Gissel down for a nap.

“Nope, just making sure they’re secure and won’t fall,” he lied. Then, a two year old Nathan pushed his truck into Ty’s ankle, making a portrait frame slip out of his hand. “I’m going out with Nathan for a bit,” he quickly dashed out, taking the blonde boy with him.

23. Telescope

Lucy was pushing her food around on her plate, clearly not in the mood to eat.
As Tyler sat down next to her, he saw her face and poked her gently.
“What’s up, McLean?” He asked, helping himself to soup.
“I’m gonna fail my Astronomy exam cause I lost my telescope,” she replied sadly.
“Well that’s not a problem—you can borrow mine,” Tyler said cheerfully.
Lucy looked over at him, her face expressionless. “You broke yours last week.”
“Oh. Right. I forgot,” he said sheepishly.
Still wanting to make his girlfriend feel better, he said, “I’ll buy you one!”

41. Thestrals

For some reason, Tyler was reading about Thestrals and how only certain people can see them. “So only people who have seen death can see thestrals?” he asked Luce as she sat down next to him at the Great Hall.

“Yeah, and the meaning has sunk in,” she explained, taking out her notes from their previous class.

“So if I see a bird die or an insect, will I be able to see one?”

“Uh no, I don’t think so,”

“But it says only those who have seen death can see them. Why won’t I be able to see one?!”

72. Vex

Tyler knew being a model, married and having children was going to be very tiring to him. Especially when their mother was NOWHERE TO BE FOUND.

“Dad, Natey won’t give me my doll!” Gissel screamed, chasing her blonde brother around the house. The pair was probably at it for another hour when Tyler finally became fed up. Waving his wand at them and summoning two chairs, he tied them both down. He laid down, waiting for Lucy to come back.

“Why are the kids tied up?” she asked, stepping through the door.

“They vexed me to no end,” he confessed.

33. Classroom

“Will this do?” Lucy asked as she opened the door to an empty classroom.
Tyler peeped in and chuckled. “It’ll have to,” he said in response and dragged her in.
The young couple giggled and embraced in a far corner of the room…that is, until the door flew open.
“WHAT IN THE NAME OF MERLIN ARE YOU TWO DOING IN HERE?!” screeched their Transfiguration professor.
Tyler and Lucy immediately separated and both their faces turned bright red.
“Uhmm..noth—nothing…” said a disgruntled Tyler, pushing Luce in front of him.
“DETENTION! Both of you!” continued the angry professor, ignoring Ty’s answer.

40. Spell

Little Gissel Way was playing with her father’s wand. Being only a year old, she couldn’t do much with it except chew on the end, having no teeth.
“Mmmm, schpell,” she murmured to no one in particular but Tyler was seated close by and heard her.
“What’s that, Gis? You wanna do a spell with daddy’s wand?” He asked her sweetly and then collected her in his arms.
The little girl nodded and then stuck the wand up her father’s nose.
“Schpell!” She yelled with joy and clapped her hands wildly.
Lucy walked in only to laugh hysterically at Ty.

45. Torch

“Can we have torches for Halloween this year?!” Nathan asked as they Way family walked into Tyler’s parents’ house.

“No, you’re going to burn something down,” Lucy said, after greeting everyone and putting their coats away.

“Weird how fast they’ve grown up. Nathan wanted toy trucks, now he wants torches for Halloween. Is that what teenagers like now?” Chelsea asked as her grandkids ran upstairs and shut the door behind them. Hearing screams coming from the room, Tyler and Lucy rushed upstairs to see a book on fire.

“Nathan tried to make believe the book was a torch!” Gissel said.

67. Quell

With exams coming up, Lucy felt like she was losing her mind. She had tried to study as much as she could be with all the homework and trying to keep her social intact. Being in the great hall wasn’t helping at all.

“How do you quell all this stupid noise so someone can do homework!?” Lucy complained to Tyler.

“Come on,” He said, smiling at her and taking her hand. “I hope this is better,” he said, opening the doors to the room of requirement and walking inside. Now this was a lovely, quiet place for someone to study.

62. Lope

Enjoying both their days off, Tyler and Lucy were relaxing in their back yard pool with their crazy teenage kids. Spike, on the other hand, was loping around the backyard, like any other crazy dog would.

“I seriously think there is something wrong with that dog,” Ty laughed, watching his strange dog run around in circles.

“If he’s related to us, he as to be,” Luce joked, flipping the page of her fashion magazine. Without much notice, Spike slipped and fell into the pool. Swimming back to the edge, he jumped out and shook off the excess water towards Lucy.

51. Act

Lucy strutted up and down the courtyard in her robes, holding her head high.
“Are you trying to act like a model?” Tyler asked her from where he sat on the ground. He couldn’t help but laugh since he was a real model himself. Plus, Luce was doing it all wrong.

“Yes, I’m practicing for the catwalk,” She replied, bending to fix her heels.

“Practicing?” He asked, one eyebrow raised.

“Your mom promised to let me walk at the next show,” Lucy replied.

“You?!” He snorted in response but regretted it at once as Lucy threw him a sharp look.

82. Careful

Lucy was putting up a Christmas wreath on the front door of their small apartment. Tyler, on the other hand, was decorating the tree. Which, unfortunately, looked like it had been murdered instead of cut down. Nevertheless, the Ways decorated cheerfully, taking eggnog breaks every so often.
“Pass me that ornament, Luce,” Tyler said as he balanced himself on a table.
Lucy obeyed and brought the ornament to him. As Tyler took it, he lost his balance.
And the next thing you know, the whole tree came crashing down, Tyler with it.
“I told you to be careful!!” yelled Lucy.

90. Present

Seeing as they were finally married, Tyler and Lucy took a walk in the local park on a winter night.

“Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have kids? You know, like buying clothes, toys and those sleepless nights?”

“Luce, I have those every day,” Ty laughed, hugging her from behind. “But yeah, I have thought about it every other day,”

“So you’re saying you would like to have a family one day?” she asked, a bit nervous for his answer.

“Yes. It would get pretty lonely if it were just you, me and the dog forever,”
