when do flying lessons start

"when does class start?" Katie asked egerly, she had wanted to learn how to fly a broom since she heard about, over the summer.

Naz enters the classroom and looks around at the brooms that sorround her. She looks slightly nervous since she has never really been on a broom before

She notices that the class hasn't started yet, so she waits for the professor in the classroom

Katie sees another person enter the classroom, and since the professer still hadn't showed up yet she decided to say "hi."

OK maybe she did fall into the description of "shouldn't-be-here", Nadia thought. But if this was the only space she would be allowed to fly, she prefered to be with all the firsties and any case, improve in her flying skills - which of course an extra class wouldn't hurt. Since the banning of Quidditch, dear, she only had the flying races at Wicked Pocus to maintain any shape. She even missed the Cheerleading, if only to have some psychial activity.

Nadia arrived with her Scarlet Fox broomstick and waited for intructions, in a quite silent way... or as in... expecting not to be spotted. Oh and she was already wearing her flying equipment on.

young kasandra walked onto the field with her firebolt in hand. she knew it was a quite old broomstick but she loved it. she wore a pair of quittech (sp?) gloves on her hands and her school robes. she wore a tee shirt and blue jeans under neath them.

Hannah walked into the class room, she sat down in a chair in the back of the room. and waithed for the class to start.

Katie figured that naz had not heard her so she sat in one of the open seats and waited quitely for the professer to show up and start class.

Anila had been on a broom a few times, but flying lessons might improve some skills. She eyed the school brooms, hoping they worked well. Maybe she'd finally buy one after the lessons...

Although Terry has been flying a broom since she borrowed Professor Prewett's Firebolt when she was about six, she wasn't going to miss a chance to get back into the air again. Nor was she going to miss sitting in on Professor Prewett's first official class as Flying instructor. Since this was a class for beginners, she decided to leave her Firebolt in the dorm and use a school broom instead. Terry walks into the classroom and goes over to the rack of school brooms. She finds a Cleansweep that looks like it hasn't been riden too much. Terry takes it off the rack and finds herself a seat near Nadia. "I see you are obeying Miss Leiden's rule when it comes to school dress. It's going to be a bummer around here this term. Not only do I have to follow the new rules but as a prefect, I have to help enforce them. At least we having flying lessons to look forward to this term. I hear the new teacher is a real dish." Terry laughs and waits for Professor Prewett to start class.

Jaren walked in for his first ever flying lesson. Yeah, that's right, in six years at Hogwarts he'd somehow managed to miss all the flying lessons. He paced the rack with the school brooms then finally picked one he felt would be satisfactory enough before taking a seat.

Nadia felt somebody talking to her and turned to see Terry sitting down besides her. At the mentioning of her uniform, yeah, just to remind her of reality. It saddened her, like something dear has been taken away from her. She had heritated it from her grandma. Nadia felt so weird without the silly hat...

"Yeah," Nadia responded sounding blue-r then intended. "I gues it must be hard." It was not that she was in class that she was not speaking that much. Her eyes moved forwards, "I haven't met the professor to tell you the truth. Doesn't come out too often, does he?"

Olivia walked into the class head held high. She was a bit rusty in the flying skills sense, but knew she was good even without being on a Quidditch team. She certainly knew she could fly better than half the people she knew, but upon never attending a flying lesson, since she was taught by her father, she decided to go anyway. She knew there'd be something she could learn. Then upon seeing Nadia, happily sat down beside her, humming to herself. "Nice hat, Nadia." Olivia said kindly.

Professor Prewett walks in and smiles at all the eager students, some of whom he recognizes (or is related too....lol) others, he correctly assumes, are first years. "I am so pleased to see so many of you anxious to fly. I must tell you though that the first flying lesson won't officially begin until this Thursday evening at 9pm. You are of course certainly welcome to take down some notes," he waved his wand and some instructions and diagrams appeared on the black board, "or you may leave for now and return tomorrow night. I must ask thought that it you do chose to stay, please don't chat amongst yourselves. If you feel the need to, you could go out in the halls and return when you are fnished." He looked around at the nodding faces and waved, "alright then, I'll see you tomorrow night....." and he left the room.

Amber quickly got out her quill and ink and began taking notes. She knew if she could master her flying technique, she'd better her quidditch game.

Tao was eager to hear that flying lessons would start soon. She was a bit afraid, not knowing if she'd be any good, but she was anxious all the same. She smiled as the teacher put instructions on the board and she grabbed her parchment and quill out of her bag and quickly jotted down the notes that suddenly appeared on the board.

Megan walked in, she couldn't wait for lessons to begin as her sister had told her that flying was loads of fun.

Lissy walked in just as Professor Prewett said "...see you tomorrow night....." and left the room. She shrugged to herself and went to look at the instructions and diagrams. She took out quill and parment and started to copy them down.

"No he tends to spend alot of time in his office polishing his awards I think." Terry smiles when her uncle enters the class room. She's still mad at him for not warning her about Miss Leiden's new rules, but she has never been able to stay mad at him for too long.

Turning around to meet Olivia, and spotting Jaren on it, Nadia sighed and pointed at her new plain back hat and said, "It's borrowed." If she had known her hat, the usual one, Nadia thought... Well, never matter. Nadia nodded at Terry's explanation, not really expecting an answer to her dull comment. Merlin. Why everything sounded dull when you were wearing dull clothes? She chuckled to herself.

Upon hearing the Professor's announcement, Nadia decided to stay. It would be sit and wait now. She wasn't going to go anywhere anyways...

Katie looked at the door where the professer had just exited and wondered wht that was about. Since she was new to flying, she took down the notes and copied down the diagrams, she was excited for tomorrow when she'd have her first flying lesson. I wonder what it's like to be on a broom? she wondered to herself as she packed up her quill and parchment. She left the classrooom, she'd be back tomorrow.

Proffesor in what time zone at 9:00 P.M.

Professor Prewett walked in and moved up to the front of the classroom. He had only a small stack of notes with him and some diagrams. He looked around at teh students who had decided to stay from the day before as well as the new arrivals. "I think I'll wait until a few more students arrive before starting," he said.

Nadia nods as the professor comes back and sits there without saying a word. She would stay like that until the class started, she decided.
