Today it is fortunately no longer nearly as shifty as it used to be. Nevertheless, this bathroom is still haunted by the one and only Moaning Myrtle and, if you happen to speak Parseltongue, can gain access to an empty Chamber of Secrets. |
Myrtle floated up from the loo and through one of the stall walls.... "WOOOOOOEEE is MEEEE...." she wailed loudly enough for anyone who was passing by on the second floor. "Doesn't ANNYYYOOONNNEEE come to visit pooooorrrr lonely Myrtleeee ANYMORE..... It's been AGESSS" She twirled a pigtail helplessly and perhaps out of boredom. "Sureeellyyy SOMEONE needs to use the looo?" |
Maisey had been outside, but now she should probably get back inside and start on some of her homework she had purposefully put off by going outside instead of doing. She came back in from the clocktower on the third floor and made her way through the corridor to the lower floors. Something stopped her right in front of the girls bathroom. She could very clearly make out the noticeable voice of Myrtle. From the corridor… what was she going on about? Just the slightest of sighs as she stopped into front of the door. It wasn’t that Maisey found Myrtle annoying. Maybe it was because Maisey herself felt as though she was also labeled as “The annoying one” too. She pushed the door open, moved inside and shut the door behind her. ”Myrtle?!” Fake shocked, acting as though she was completely surprised to see her there and hadn’t just her wailing literally two seconds ago from the other side of the door. |
+ for Jess! SPOILER!!: Myrtle & Maisey Emmeline needed to use the loo. Having held it all through Herbology class it was no wonder that she by the time she got to second floor was in desperate need to use the loo. The loud wailing coming from the Girl's Loo belonging to none other than Moaning Myrtle usually scared Emmie off, but today she didn't have the luxury to ignore it to go, and find another loo. When you had to go, you had to go it was as simple as that. Without thinking longer than a second or two about where she was Emmie pushed opened the door, to the girl's loo, and headed inside. She greeted to the other girl student present, and the pigtailed girl ghost too for that matter. "Hi Maisey! Hi Myrtle!" before sprinting into one of the unoccupied loos. When she eventually came out again after washing her hands Emmie asked "Myrtle, why are you wailing today?" It could be a hundred reasons if she knew Myrtle. Maybe Peeves had constructed a new sad song? |
Emma was fairly used to do using the loo on the second floor because it was so close to the Hufflepuff Common Room. Sometimes you just HAD to go as soon as you left your dorm but didn't want to go back. But what she wasn't used to was the loud wailing that she'd heard on her way up the staircase. Alternating her legs back and forth to keep from accidentally leaking on herself, she hurried into the loo barely paying mind to the other girls already present. Once she relieved herself, the small Hufflepuff emerged from the stall to wash her hands and see properly who was there. "Oh hey Emmie...." she nodded at her yearmate. "Maisey, Myrtle....What's going on? Surely you know that we were all away for the summer?" She frowned at the young female ghost, confused by her wails. Maybe some of the other ghosts had been teasing her real bad over the summer. |
