Default The Pathways

Graphic credit: Felixir

A set of paths, some stone, most dirt, link the wooden bridge to almost every other area of the Hogwarts grounds. You will more than likely use these pathways at some point to reach your grounds-based classes, to visit other outdoor locations, or simply to take a walk and clear your head. This is a quiet area of the grounds with the soft sound of leaves rustling in the wind or lightly crunching below your feet. Doesn't the air just seem fresher around here somehow?

Walk with a friend, sit and relax on one of the many benches placed in intervals along the numerous pathway routes, climb a nearby tree, take a moment to appreciate the great outdoors in this breathtaking part of the country. Just be careful not to trip on loose stones or roots as you go. The groundskeeper does what he can to keep the pathways maintained, but he can only do so much.

"Waffles," he replied without a second of hesitation. Honestly, it was the superior breakfast cuisine. While the blond had to issue with pancakes, there was something about waffles that would always make that his preferred choice no matter what. As for him being sweet, no further comment was made about that. He was certain such a conversation would always end with that being the parents' doing.

Still petting Beans, he reluctantly carried on with the studying conversation, which was not the purpose of his wandering the grounds. "Yeah, just alright," he confirmed. "Vasco's been a huge help. But the whole studying nonstop thing is very boring and not how I would like to spend my free time." He was looking forward to that ending once the exams were done with, and already there were a number of classes he planned on dropping so he could have a lighter schedule in the next school year.
Should Logan have gotten injured in any way from his tumble, this very protective mama bear would've noticed rather quickly. She was good at that. Taking note of injuries, when they happened frequently around their home as the kids grew up. All was fine and well though.

"Obviously." That was her preferred breakfast food as well. Unless they wanted to count coffee as breakfast? He would be right to some extent. Any further conversation would be about how he got his sweetness from HER.

A gentle laugh slipped past Hady's lips. "If you manage your time just right, you don't have to spend every moment studying. Try writing out a schedule, it does help." Not that she expected him to plan ahead when it came to studying.
