Norman is the only child of Eudora, a magical shopkeeper, and Gordon, a muggle police officer. As a child, he idolized his father and knew from a young age that he wanted to protect and serve, just like his dad. That dream became even more important to him at the age of eight when his father was killed in the line of duty. Following Gordon’s passing, Eudora took a second job to provide for her young son. While the extra work hours kept the small family afloat, it also meant Norman spent a lot of time on his own.
Like his mother, Norman attended Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was chosen by Thunderbird and Horned Serpent but chose Horned Serpent as his house. Although he excelled in most of his studies, he was most passionate about Transfiguration and Defensive Studies. While at Ilvermorny, he met and fell in love with Cherie Maine, a sweet but rebellious girl from a wealthy Southern family. After graduation, the two married and relocated to Salem so they could attend university together.
Norman majored in Human Transfiguration and took a job at a magical equipment repair shop to put himself through university. During his final year, his mother took ill; Eudora lived long enough to see Norman graduate from university but not to see him accepted into the Auror training program. Following four years in training, Norman finally achieved his dream of becoming an Auror. He and Cherie moved to Charlotte, NC (Cherie’s hometown) in hopes of starting a family together, but it was not to be.
In the fall of 2088, Norman was tasked with apprehending a particularly violent dark wizard. Although he was ultimately successful in his mission, he was gravely injured in the fight. After spending months in a hospital recovering from his injuries, he returned home expecting to find Cherie waiting for him, only to learn that she died while he was away. Unbeknownst to Norman at the time, Cherie left behind a daughter named Normandie in his honor (spelled with - ie instead of -y so people wouldn’t think she was named for the region in France).
With Cherie dead and his Auror career effectively ended by his injuries, there was nothing left in the States for Norman. He moved to the UK to escape the memories of all he’d lost and rekindled his passion for transfiguration. After a few months working various odd jobs, he landed steady employment with a vanishing cabinet maker. He and his boss got along well, and it’s thanks to his boss that Norman discovered his talent for teaching. After hearing his boss complain that his son was struggling in transfiguration, Norman offered to help the boy, which led to a job as a private tutor. At his former boss’s encouragement, he later applied for a teaching position at WU Edinburgh where he remained employed for nine years, first as a teaching assistant then as a professor of Human Transfiguration.
It was during his time teaching at WU Edinburgh that Norman found out about his daughter through a chance encounter. He contacted Normandie’s guardian, sending documentation to back his claim, and a paternity test confirmed that he was Normandie’s father. After learning that Normandie wanted a relationship with him but did not want to move to Scotland, it was agreed that Normandie would stay with her guardian so she could keep attending Ilvermorny and visit her father during the summer and holiday breaks. It was because of Normandie that Norman applied for the position of Hogwarts transfiguration professor, as he felt the younger generation could benefit from his knowledge. Now he is eager to start a new and hopefully brighter chapter in his life.

Little is known of his life before his adoption, but since he was young, Rajesh has been a much loved child of his parents. The eldest child and son of Adi and Benny Atreyu-Rehman, he is fiercely protective of his siblings, especially after the events he witnessed through the war. Growing up on a creature preserve, his love and understanding of animals both magical and mundane was a given, though his other interests are still being explored.
Starting at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at customary age of 11, Rajesh was sorted into Ravenclaw and took to the house of knowledge like green on grass. One wasn’t to know that it was going to start so harsh though and the young boy struggled to deal with the events of his first year. As such he has become a touch more reserved though over the years it as started to soften.
During 5th year, Raj sat for his OWLs earning an O in COMC and an E in Potions and Charms.

Personality: Lisa may be tiny but she's a fireball of energy. Highly creative and imaginative, she is always trying to create something to make her life easier. She is very self-motivated and HIGHLY competitive. If someone has a dis-advantage, she has no issues with "bending" the rules (basically cheating) to make the playing fields even. She is extremely stubborn and when she gets her mind set on something - it takes a lot to derail her from that idea, project, or thing.
History: The youngest daughter born to Alexander and Mi-kyoung Nam. She was born on a cold winter morning in Boston, Massachusetts and is the only Yankee in the Nam family. She grew up in a very happy household with two loving but busy parents and wonderful siblings. She is not particularly close to either of her parents which is mainly driven by her father always traveling to various foreign countries whilst her mother was focused on her small business putting in many hours to keep the business and the family home in tip-top shape. That being said, Lisa holds no ill will to either parent and loves them both. They also would let her get away with MANY things - which was great - and led to her being a little bit of a princess. When Lisa thinks through who really raised her, she has to give credit to her siblings. She always saw her eldest brother, Noah, more as a father figure because he was always there for her. Evan filled the eldest 'smart' brother role to a T and Maya was the older 'cooler' sister. She is also is close to her cousins (Chin-hae, Cora, and Chase) and idolises Cora Nam greatly.
While her siblings have been away, she's really started to grow into her own character and find herself. Instead of being the youngest who was always quiet but maniacal, she's learned more about her life through her cousins. From Cora, she's learned strength. From Chin-hae, she learned how to love others. From Chase, she learned how to be salty. Mix those three personality traits with SUGAR, SPICE, BUT leave OUT the EXTRA Nam nice and you get Lisa!

Adopted Pascal and co-parent said chameleon with Serena!
SORTED INTO RAVENCLAW! Joined her brother Evan in the smartest house and plotted ways to get Maya to be a “Ravenclaw”- still working on that!

Learned that most creatures were plotting her demise thanks to Atlas Flamsteed. He’s cute and thus becomes her creatures consultant! … Accidentally called Aries ‘Atlas’ at least five times

Played FOOTBALL on the RED TEAM aaaand experienced jealousy for the first time when she saw V and Jasper talking.
Hung out with Remy, V, Daniel, Serena, Jasper, and Alfie all summer long! Went to an event with Ash and her bodyguard got her a prize. She plans to give it to Jasper.
Second Year:
Hung out with Jasper and Alfie on the train to Hogwarts!
Felt ill after the feast thanks to her feelings and puberty striking
Started scheming with Stewie about meddling in their siblings love lives
Attended a first year event aaand little fire ferret rascal (Pabu) happened causing her to believe Jasper and V were dating.
Things become awkward with Serena slightly after they talked about her crush… it took a bit but they made up.
Currently is feeling meh about everything based on her crush. Appreciated Atlas checking in on her!
Classes were fun!!
Went on an awesome scavenger hunt with Jasper for her birthday. It was EPIC!
Had a weird dynamic with V for a little bit... but things seem to be good cause helped talk V through some girl things.. So they were good? They seemed good in the study group that they spent together. Studied with Remy, Ollie, V, and Serena.
Accidentally drank a love potion and felt feelings for Daniel which was weird… this was when she started to notice that boys were cuter than what she previously thought.
Went on a 'date' with Stewie... it was weird but nice but weird.
Pranked Florrie with Mamie - light purple dye was a nice hair colour on her!
Sadly said her goodbyes to the seventh year class - she'd miss Claudine Blaze and Noah Mordaunt the most ;__; And Disney Prince Kale Trent and Disney Prince Auggie Scardino. Also... HEARTBROKEN that Misa was leaving the school.
The birthday cake that she made for Daniel was an epic fail so gave him a cupcake instead.
Has plans for the summer with her friends!
Third Year
Gave Atlas Flamsteed a favourite childhood book of hers (The Princess and the Frog) on the train.
Had to address the rumors about Daniel and her dating at the Start of Term Feast. However, no one believed her. Serena went and stormed off and Lisa was left with a mess.
Found Serena in the Arcade Area and learned that Serena had a crush on her. She didn’t return Serena’s feelings but clarified that she didn’t have a crush on Daniel.
Met with Daniel in the library to clarify the dating rumors. Whilst joking, she lost her balance and hit her head when she fell on the floor. This resulted in a trip to the Nurse.
Spent time with Stewie by the Lake. They did a lot of cloud watching.
Met with Remy in the Girl’s Bathroom to vent her frustrations. Admitted her crush on Jasper Botros.
Spent time with Jasper throughout the year but never told him how she felt.
Grew confused between her feelings for multiple friends… decided not to act on any.
Went on a beach date with Atlas Flamsteed and got the best piggyback ever.
Fourth Year:
Decided she was going to tell Jasper how she felt about him but waited.
Fought with Serena once she learned that Serena asked Jasper to the dance. Felt betrayed because had confided in Serena about her feelings towards Jasper. Started avoiding Serena, Jasper, V, and Stewie.
Confided in Atlas about her feelings, and unbeknownst to her, she pushed Atlas away as a friend (v sad).
Hung out with Jasper on the Battlements and formed a secret handshake. Almost admitted her feelings but didn’t.
Had a run in with Jasper and Serena at the Quidditch Pitch further solidifying the distance between her and her former friend. Spoke with V about it and informed her that she didn’t want her to feel as if she were in the middle. V mentioned she was fine but later was upset with Lisa when she learned Lisa and Daniel were going to the dance together
Went to the dance with Daniel Yoon. He was a good friend of hers and she enjoyed his company. Witnessed the Stewie and V kiss which made her feel weird. Danced with Stewie and felt like a princess. Sat and enjoyed her time with Yumeki. Decided she was Remy's date in the end - solifdiying their friendship even more. Hung out with Atlas and Freddie. Danced with both. Started to think Freddie was cute KNEW ATLAS WAS CUTE BUT KNEW OF REMY’S FEELS SO DIDNT INTERVENE.
Started working at Florean’s over the summer. Saw Freddie, Adam, and a potential student (Tasha). Ran into Marley at Sugarplum’s. Ran into Lydia and Fowl at Atticus’ Music Shop. Was bumped into by Atlas causing the bracelet to go flying but he was able to remedy the situation.
Visited Stew at his place of work and was treated like a celebrity. Took Stewie as a date to her cousin’s wedding.

When Noah turned 11 he received a scholarship to attend a prestigious boarding school. Evan was excited for his brother and his opportunity, but he was sad he’d be gone for so long. That first year he decided to devote himself to studying so that he could attend the same school as his brother when he reached 11, although he didn’t know too much about the place as his parents and brother were fairly vague in describing it.
Evan did begin to notice weird things start to happen around him when he was 9/10, things would disappear or seem like they would move closer to him unexplainably. Always figuring he was just exaggerating things in his mind, he never said anything to his family. And then even if he wanted to, they were packing up to move to Manchester for a new work position for his dad. Evan was, selfishly, excited because they would be moving away from Noah’s school and maybe they would get to attend the same one now. But again, Noah received a scholarship to a boarding school in the UK and Evan was left to public schools with his younger sisters.
On his 11th birthday, however, Evan received a letter from Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry inviting him to attend come the next fall. He laughed at first, thinking it was a practical joke, and showed it to his parents. They looked at each other and asked him not to show the letter to his younger sisters and that Noah would be better equipped to explain things to him. The boy didn’t understand what that meant but immediately began sending post to his older brother, whom unfortunately at the time was confined to Hogwarts which had disappeared off the map.
Noah returned home that summer, and he and Evan's new friends Solana Kennedy and Chiyo Koizumi were able to catch the young male Nam up on a lot of the wizarding world, introducing him to Diagon Alley and shops and magical items. His favorite quickly became magical candy.
Evan's first term was fairly uneventful, as he kept himself occupied in his new Common Room, having been sorted into Ravenclaw, and read as many books as he could get his hands on there and in the library. He spent a good deal of time wandering the halls too, learning the layout of the castle and taking time to talk to the various portraits who truly had a lot of wisdom to share. Before he knew it, the year was over and while some scary things were afoot at Hogwarts, he did his best to remain ignorant so that he could enjoy his summer and look forward to returning the in the fall with TWO of his siblings, as Maya had also received her acceptance letter.
The three elder Nam's returned Hogwarts for Noah's Seventh year, Evan's second and Maya's FIRST year. Evan was disappointed his sister was sorted into Slytherin, quite hopeful she'd be in his house, but he didn't have time to dwell as Hogwarts was already getting scarier and scarier with a take over, confiscation of all items letting them talk to home, and the obvious disdain for muggles and the muggle born. He was determined to lie even lower this term than his first, however his blood status did not allow him to do so due to the blatant targeting by the school's newest staff members. By mid year, his wand had been confisicated and he was thrown into a room with all the other muggleborns and halfbloods, only let out for classes (which he hardly wanted to attend) and twice a day for exercise. Over the year he grew to hate magic and the magical side of who he was, though there was nothing he could do to change it.
By the end of his second term, a war had erupted at Hogwarts and many were injured and killed alike, including the parents of his best friend Solana. Though he could not explain exactly how it happened, upon finding the bodies it was determined Sol would go home with them for the time being and when none of her family was able to step up and take her in full time, his parents began the process of adopting her into the Nam family. Due to Solana’s pureblood status and another change in an already crazy and hectic year, Evan was not pleased with this change in the family dynamic. Though as he knows that isn’t anyone’s fault, just his personal feelings, he tries to remain closed off and quiet regarding it so as not to make anyone feel bad.
He was not at all looking forward to his third term at Hogwarts, however it was a calmer year than he had thus far experienced and he was able to put himself out there and make more friends as the year progressed. Socially, it was a good developing year for Evan and getting to watch his sister in the production of Peter Pan had been a high light after some of the crazy that happened.
For his fourth year, Evan had no expectations nor nowhere near as much dread as he did before. Which as it turned out to be a pretty decent year, vines and curses excluded. He focused a lot more on making friends and spending time with people, and not using extra study as much in order to prep for not burning out his fifth year.
His Owl year, Evan secluded himself away from most people in order to devote himself fully to his studies. A task that had clearly paid off, as he managed to score all O's for his exams that year. His social life suffered, but it was nothing he couldn't make up for in his sixth year.
Which was exactly what he did. Dance planning committees, classes and plenty of time to hang out, it was a quiet term for the Nam male. However as he headed into his seventh, he was absolutely looking forward to brushing up on his socializing skills (read: learn them) before heading off on a sailing excursion post school before university.

EARLY YEARS + STARK SCHOOL:

Samuel was born on the 3rd of January 2091 to proud parents, Alec and Ella Summers. From the moment he could crawl, he was an explorative kid, always curious about his surroundings. So curious, in fact, that he often liked putting things in his mouth, even if they didn’t belong there. Toys, hands, even trying to put Cece’s cheek in his mouth - which only led to him slobbering on her, instead. As they grew up, he started learning a lot of things from Cece, including how to make blanket forts in the living room, making ice cream sundaes (yum!), and acting out stories. He found that he really enjoyed spending time with his older sister and looked towards her for guidance.
While Cece spent time learning Quidditch skills with Alec, who was a Seeker at the time, Sammy ended up spending more time around Ella. This eventually led to the young boy picking up a strong interest in food and cooking. His products were limited depending on his age, but the aspect of learning more and more about his new favourite hobby as he grew up only satisfied his interests.
When he started showing signs of magic, Sammy was enrolled into Stark School, a wizarding primary school started by Isadora Stark. During his time at the school, he made a multitude of very close friends, including: Emmerson Cambridge, Kinsay James, and Emma Rider. The children, along with Matthew Rider-Mae, soon formed their own group and very much enjoyed having playdates and hanging out with each other. After all, they practically grew up together.
Emmerson showed a particularly strong interest in Sammy, which was only strengthened by the fact that their parents had been friends since their Hogwarts days. But Emm, being the bold, demanding girl that she was, made a proposal to Sam, asking him to become her boyfriend. His initial response was to decline the offer, but it only led to upsetting the girl and a threat that she would get her mother to send him to Azkaban if that was the case. While he wasn’t particularly happy about it, Sammy gave in. Why? Because Azkaban didn’t have good food there.
Yes, that is a good enough reason.
While Sammy told his family, he didn’t disclose much of the details, least of all the threat that had been given to him. This changed, however, when Emm started talking about marriage and babies. He found that he couldn’t say no - again, because of the Azkaban threat - but that didn’t stop him from panicking. So, he did the only practical thing he could think of - telling Cece about it. His older sister went on to tell their parents, which led to Alec, Ella, and Lex having a discussion of their own. The Summers were naturally worried about the situation but Lex reassured them that he could say no to her daughter, and she wouldn’t send anyone to Azkaban just for doing so.
A silver lining arrived when, in the summer of 2101, he received a special letter from Hogwarts. Naturally, Sammy was over the moon about this news - and even moreso when he came to learn that all of his closest friends also received their own letters from Hogwarts. How exciting was that? They were all going to Hogwarts together for their very own adventure.
Now they just needed to get sorted into the same house.

FIRST YEAR:

Wrong.
As excited as the Stark School kids were about going to Hogwarts, they were unaware of the huge boulder standing in their path, ready to tear their dreams apart. It seemed as though Gryffindor was the path chosen for them, but that wasn’t the case for the boys. While the girls were sorted into Gryffindor and Matty into Slytherin, the Sorting Hat was at a standstill when it came to Sammy. He could fit into Hufflepuff, just like his parents, but he could also fit into Ravenclaw as well.
But Gryffindor? Not an option.
Eventually, the Sorting Hat opted to sort him into Ravenclaw, mainly because of the level of creativity that he would need to learn to channel throughout his years at the wizarding school. And as loyal as he was, Hufflepuff simply wasn’t the house to do that, unfortunately. While he was happy to see a few familiar faces in his house and year, it was safe to say that Sammy wasn’t happy about being separated from his closest friends and sister. How was he supposed to have blanket fort sleepovers now?!
SECOND YEAR:

Naturally, Samuel had no idea what was in store for him for his second year. But if there was one thing he knew, it was that he needed to sort something out that had been stale for far too long. And even if he'd opted out once, he couldn't do so again.
His task was simple: tell Emm the truth.
And so, a simple non-date lake picnic was planned, but little did he know of the chaos this would cause. Sammy, after a long time, drew up the courage to reveal his feelings and end their relationship. Emm, on the other hand, didn't take it well. She doubted herself, attacked Ashley Fox for trying to steal her 'boyfriend', and claimed to be better than her because she was a mudblood you-know-what. Yikes.
Once Sammy found out about the various fights and clarified it with Emm, the two stopped talking for months. It was a difficult moment to get through, and it was only made worse by the goings on in the school. Lucien Rosier and his Neo-Alliance followers were fully in control, and making it known. There was no communication allowed with their parents, no leaving the grounds, and finally, no leaving the room for people who weren't pureblood.
Not to mention that a few people were stuck in mirrors for months and one of them included Ash herself.
Sammy was devastated and this was probably one of the few instances in which he let any sad emotions truly show. He couldn't deny that feeling of hopelessness, and it showed in the way he appeared quiet and closed off instead of his usual self. He didn't so much as talk to anyone, not even his sister.
But there was a silver lining in this situation. One day, Emm took the initial step and reconciled her friendship with Sammy. If anything, knowing that they were friends again gave the boy something to feel happy about, and he embraced that with open arms. This silver lining turned into a ray of hope when people came to save the day - came to save them. They were free!
Except, it didn't feel like it. Not to this Ravenclaw.
THIRD YEAR:

If anything, it was clear that third year was going to be something.
It all started with a simple talk with Emm in the Great Hall. The only problem was that Emm admitted that she had only meant to date Ezra Upstead to make Sammy jealous. Naturally, this left Sammy feeling some type of way. It became more apparent than ever that he was the last of his group of friends to have gotten a kiss or into a proper relationship. While others were being mature, he was making cupcakes like a five year old. Yikes.
The thought couldn't be shaken from his mind. They grew like vines that wrapped around his brain and wouldn't budge - very similar to the physical vines that were growing outside. Was he immature? Was he stuck in the past and not growing? Should he be taking lessons from, uh, vines?! It was a confusing half of the year, to say the least.
But all of that changed with a simple conversation with Misa and a lot of thinking. Misa confronted him and asked him about his feelings about Amabel, who told her that she likes him. Sammy refused to say anything to Misa, but that didn't mean that it left his mind altogether. In fact, when Amabel came to find him afterwards, Sammy opted for actions: kissing her.
The next hurdle? Telling Emm.
Telling Emm was something the fifth year didn't want to do. In their early conversations, Sammy and Amabel agreed on keeping it on the down-low to avoid the risk of Emm coming after Amabel. Little did he know of the volcano that was about to erupt as a consequence. What he thought were smart decisions simply left Emm feeling hurt that she had to hear it from gossip and not from him. As tradition goes: the two stopped talking for a while afterwards.......
...... only to make up again afterwards.

If there's one thing that particularly stands out about Samuel upon meeting him, it's his outgoing nature. From a very young age, he's always been an explorative and sensitive kid, one who's loyal and has a warm personality. This could be the reason why he's always been a part of a group of friends - and he wouldn't want it any other way.
His charismatic nature has led to him being surrounded by different kinds of people, and as such, he's had to learn how to connect with said people. Such a trait, one that's only grown and worsened over the years, has led to Sammy becoming preoccupied with how he's perceived as well as how he might be affecting those he surrounds himself with. It's because of this that he's known to make decisions that people might consider to be odd or confusing.
Another major aspect to his personality is his vulnerability to criticism. Sure, criticism is something he cannot avoid - and something he'd need to learn to accept - but he cannot deny the sharp sting that comes with the slightest bit of criticism about his food. His need to be valued and appreciated holds a much greater importance, and that's not something he can just ignore.

A highly-prized and beautiful wood, Cherry makes for a surprisingly lethal wand. Self-control and a strong will are a must for the wielder of Cherry, particularly if the core is dragon heartstring. Additionally Cherry is excellent for healing spells, binding spells and divination.
