Seventh-Floor Corridor

Because the seventh floor is the gateway to Hogwarts' biggest towers, you can expect to access quite a bit of the castle from here. The most notable areas that this corridor provides passage to are the Owlery, Astronomy Tower, Divination Tower, the common rooms for both Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, and, if you know where to look, the Room of Requirement. Sweeping views of the Quad below are available thanks to a series of large windows.

After stepping onto the seventh-floor corridor, a statue of Lachlan the Lanky immediately greets you. There really isn't anything overly special about him, but one can hide behind him and not be easily found if you're playing hide-and-go-seek or are just wanting to completely avoid someone. A renowned tapestry and numerous portraits, ranging from a mother and her baby, various wildlife animals, and the chivalrous Sir Cadogan adorn the walls. The latter portrait, should you ever need help getting around, is always eager to assist those who are, allegedly, in distress.

for shan/Lisa :3

When in the planning stages for something big, one needed to find somewhere unnoticeable to hide. Fortunately his common room was up in the towers, far away from the prying ears of a certain Slytherin. Ans near enough to where it would hopefully be convenient for said Slytherin's sibling. He hadn't much interaction with Lisa previously, other than classes really, and yet Apollo still felt compelled to send her a note to meet by Lachlan statue. He only hoped it made it to the right hands. He needed her brain specifically for this mission.

She received a note from her sister's best friend. Lisa had some theories about her sister and Apollo. She always saw them together and her sister often mentioned him so she just had the tiniest suspicion that there was something going on there. So receiving the letter brought a smile to her face and she even SKIPPED down from the Ravenclaw common room to meet him at the Lachlan statue.

She'd do anything for Maya.

"Apollo?" she called out as she rounded the corner.

Well Maya Nam was intelligent and definitely a good support system to have around. When he heard her sister who wasn't so little anymore?? o.o which wasn't that odd because she was only a year younger than him, yet that difference seems magnified the younger you are, the fifth year stood up from behind the statue to reveal himself.

"I'm here..." He motioned for her. "So uh everything good?" Except this wasn't just an average catching up meeting.

"So what do you think about being asked to the dance via book?" He just dove right into the subject.

Yeah, yeah….” she nodded, waving her hand a little. He didn’t need to worry about her. She’d be fine as she focused on shielding her heart a little and instead wearing a content smile. “Good. Things are okay.

She liked how Apollo just got straight to the matter at hand. He always dove right in. She considered his question. Being asked to the dance by using a book?

Itd be cute but you’d need the right book. Do you want the one she’s currently reading or her favourite book of all time?” she asked with a tilt of her head to the right.

If he was older and wiser than only fifteen, he might tell her to not worry over shielding her heart. But alas he doesn't even know such things. Instead he offered her an oblivious smile and nodded. "Good, good. I'm glad," even if he was older and wiser he would probably learn alternative meanings to when a girl says 'things are okay'

He tilted his head at Lisa, because of course he hadn't really considered too much about it. "um... What about neither. What if maybe it was just a makeshift book. Like on the outside it appeared as her favorite or something but the inside only held a single piece of paper, which would ask the question...?" was he overthinking things? Perhaps, but the year had been good for him and he wanted it to keeping being so
