SPOILER!!: full office description

To Enter into Professor Gunter's Office you'll need to descend the Steps down into the the Ancient Runes Classroom. All the way to the back past the desks and his own is the door that leads into his private study. Knock first, if he does not answer right away don't hesitate. Maybe he's tangled up in something that prevents his immediate response. Be patient. Perhaps you could wait until he's available within the Runes Study Room. Catch up on some Homework while you wait for Professor Gunter to untangle himself.

Once he does answer to you and you enter. You find the study to be a basic but cozy set up. Two wooden chairs face toward an Arm Chair with a Coffee Table set between them both. The Coffee Table is occasionally cluttered with papers, books, or even comic books and graphic novels.

There are Non-Lethal potted plants of the Blueberry Bush variety to your side just as you enter, and just beyond them behind the Arm chair there is a Dresser, a Work Bench, and a Bookshelf. The Dresser is locked securely and will only open for Professor Gunter. The Work Bench has a toolbox set on top it. With bits of old and broken things spread across it. And the Bookshelf has all kinds of books. Organized with an massive collection of Muggle Comics and Graphic Novels that Professor Gunter has acquired over the years. There are also academic books on the bottom shelf of course.

Continuing around the corner of the Bookshelf sits a Globe. The Globe has marks on it for all the different locations around the World that he has visited in his late teens and early twenties. It is a nice conversation piece. Beside the Globe is a very comfortable Couch. Surrounding the couch on the walls are framed pictures of Family. Lots of Family. Maybe too much Family. There are also framed diplomas for both his Bachelors and Masters degree from Cairo Wizarding University and Edinburgh Wizarding University.

The Round Table set up in the Corner of the Room. Has baskets of fruits of vegetables. The main piece one might pay attention to on that table would actually be the Blender on that table. Professor Gunter loves his Healthy Veggie Drinks, and Fruit Smoothies.

The final point of interest within his study is the fireplace behind the two chairs. Not large enough to use for Flooing. But perfect should he need to make a fire-call. It also provides some nice heat during the cold winter months in up in the Scottish Mountains.

ooc: Need to Speak to Professor Gunter? Give his door a couple of knocks. I'll respond ASAP.

Noah was here...because of something. Something that intrigued him for weeks now, and something that he has kept to himself until recently. He had sent out a letter to his mum and dad... and, he doesn't know what to make out of the no-response. It has been days, and it usually didn't take them that long to reply. Noah of course began to worry. What he thought was a nice surprise for his parents may turn out into something nasty. Did they end up having a fight? Did his mum pass out? Merlin only knows. He needed answers and an explanation.

A few days prior, he'd shared his discovery with Cece and a note asking her to join him that day. Cece has been busy lately, of which he was well aware of, (ahem), and Noah didn't expect her to be there right away. He'd just tell Uncle Oakey that Cece was also to be expected.

From within the Ancient Room classroom, Noah quickened his pace towards the back and balled up a fist and knocked on Uncle Oakey's office door, loud enough for him to hear...or wake up.

Cece had been busy lately, and maybe a lot little distracted, but there was no way she wanted to miss hearing what uncle Professor Gunter had to say about Noah's discovery. He'd have the inside scoop, wouldn't he? Especially since he'd attended school with their parents allllllll those years ago. Whether they could convince him to share was a whole different story.

"Hey Noah," The blonde greeted cheerfully, coming up beside him and giving his arm a squeeze. "Do you have an actual plan, or are you just going to try and catch him off guard with your discovery?"

It did look like he was going to wait awhile for their godfather to answer, thinking that he may have got himself into a minor predicament. It was almost always the case for their godfather, and he ought to have just brought his homework with him, so he wouldn't be wasting time. There was a lot of studying to be done... and he'd been inspired to spend more time in the library because of his discovery.

Merlin knows what he'll find next.

"Hey, you." Noah gave Cece a knowing smile as soon as he'd seen her, and casually draped an arm around her shoulder, "Do I ever plan anything? Nope. That's not my way." he may look like a lot like his dad, but Noah wasn't anything like him-- always brooding, always planning, always thinking. "I'll just have to wing it, I guess. It's more fun that way." the Gryffindor crinkled his nose as he got his arms off of Cece. "It's kind of...odd to think our parents used to be students like us though. And... Merlin, were they all over the place."

Cece laughed, trying to picture their parents hanging out together. Moody Uncle Mordred and Aunt Soph and her mum flailing about something or other and her dad being cute and not wanting to get on anyone's bad side. They must've been quite the crew. "Mum said they had lots of fun. She even mentioned something about a pillow fight, which sounds pretty epic, actually." There was also the mention of hair whipping, but she left that part out.

"I didn't mention your discovery to them yet, but maybe your mum told mine." She smiled a little, imagining her reaction.

Hey Ju 05-31-2021 07:21 PM

It's about something else, so we don't mind if it's the same TL as above or not x)

"KNOCK KNOCK!!!! KNOCK KNOCK!!!! KNOCK KNOCK!!!! KNOCK KNOCK!!!!!" A voice could be heard approaching the Ancient Runes' professor's office door. It was a loud voice compared to the small body it was coming from, but the girl kept at it until she reached the door.

She didn't think actually knocking would be needed by now, heeheehee.
