| | Barn and Pastures Similar to the Magical Creature Sanctuary, the barn is an enclosure that contains a variety of creatures scattered about, mostly ones that need to be kept inside during the winter. In the spring and fall, many of these creatures will be allowed out into the Sanctuary where students can continue looking after them. The Hogwarts barn itself is a well-aged and well-maintained structure located a distance from the edge of the Forbidden Forest. Like most structures here on the grounds, it's bigger on the inside than on the outside, with tidy enclosures for each of the breeds of animals kept for the use of the school. Out of the great back doors that swing open, fences lead to open pastures. The wooden and stone fences are charmed to prevent any kind of creature (or student) from escaping.
Students are welcome to visit the barns and accompanying pastures any time they are not in class, meals, or after curfew. Grab feed from the bins by the door, take one or more of the creatures out for some air, or give the winged horses a good rub down. Whatever you do, remember to treat the creatures with respect and care, especially the ones with sharp teeth and hooves bigger than your heads.
Most animals within this enclosure are rated X, XX, or XXX. Some animals reside in stalls, others are in coops or cubbies, some are in the loft above your head, and some are just regular mundane barn creatures. Please remember your skill level, year, and familiarity around animals when visiting the Barn and Pastures. |

The problem with everyone continuing to cast the spell was that the muggles were already inside. The spells cast effectively prevented them from being able to LEAVE. Each time they approached the door, they were met by the invisible muggle repellant shield that made them suddenly remember something else. This was turning into a very confusing day for the poor dears who— “OH MY GOD!!!” One exclaimed, loud enough for the children back outside to hear. Horses!!!! With WINGS!!!! And strange clawed creatures that eyed them with obvious disdain. They had wings, too. “Remarkable....” One moved closer to the hippogriffs, having forgotten they were trying to escape due to the loop they had been forced into. ”Be careful....this must be some...lab of sorts. Oh god, they’re going to experiment on us next!!!”
That...that quickly got everyone screaming. This was truly a place of nightmares. Look at all these poor creatures!! How they must be suffering!!!

Caledon Roth The Leaky Cauldron | Everybody! (not sure which kids are in the barn & which are outside anymore) xD Rhibear ~ Madam Solo ~ Dark Brooding Girl ~ Accio Jedi ~ Gryffinclaw ~ Just a doll Heath felt a wave of relief wash over him when he saw Claudine sidle over to him, just like he knew she would. How could she stay calm through all this? He nodded, managing a very slight smile in reply, but the feeling didn’t last long. Their spells had worked in the worst possible way, and now the muggles were stuck inside the barn. Just when he thought things couldn’t get any worse, the muggles started screaming. Panic set in, Rosier was bound to hear that, and if he came to investigate and saw this… Given the mood he was in, Heath wouldn’t be surprised if he decided to kill the students as well as the muggles.
Heath’s thoughts were going a million miles an hour. Asdfjkl!!! What do they do? They had two very big problems on their hands. They had to stop the muggles from screaming, and they had to get the spells off the barn! Would Finite Incantatem work? Maybe the muggle repelling charms were too powerful? Then he remembered something he read in his History of Magic book about a group of people using Finite Incantatem to stop Grindelwald’s fire from destroying Paris. Maybe it would work if they all cast at the same time?
Then there was the problem of the screaming muggles. The thought crossed his mind to try casting Silencio on them, but he realized that Finite Incantatem would also undo any silencing spells. He suddenly got another idea. So much for not talking to the muggles… “EVERYONE STOP SCREAMING!” he shouted over them. “Nobody is being experimented on! This is all part of a new reality show. We’ve had a slight special effects malfunction with the door, but we’re trying to fix it. Stay calm!”
He hoped that would work, but he wasn’t wasting time, just in case it didn’t. Motioning for Claudine (and any other students inside the barn) to follow him, he moved closer to the door so the people outside would be able to hear him too. “Guys, they’re stuck inside!” he said. “We need to undo the spells so they can leave. We can try Finite Incantatem, but it might take all of us casting at the same time. Who’s with me?” Lesson learned from the last activity: he wasn’t going to wait around to see who agreed with him. Those who wanted to help him were welcome to do so; those who didn’t were on their own. Awesome, wow!
He drew his wand, making the correct movement. “1… 2… 3… Finite Incantatem!”

A show?? Some stupid show?? They had been traumatized and put through the wringer for a bloody show??? Without their permission?? "THIS IS ILLEGAL!!!" One yelled. The others turned to the door, enraged by the revelation...however....each time they tried to LEAVE they suddenly remembered something else they needed to be doing and moved away from the door.
Escape? Was that what they were doing?
It must have been something?
Huh.

While you work at your muggle wrangling, a piece of parchment comes floating by. It's size is not much to take note of, but soon enough it speaks and when it does it is the voice of your Headmaster. Quote:
The lesson is over. Return to the gate to collect your things. Don't worry about the muggles, they are no longer your concern. My men will handle it from here.

Caledon Roth The Leaky Cauldron | *declones* Rhibear ~ Madam Solo ~ Dark Brooding Girl ~ Accio Jedi ~ Gryffinclaw ~ Just a doll Heath wasn't surprised that his revelation drew outrage from the muggles. That was the plan all along. If they were angry, at least they weren't screaming and panicking. Keeping up the act, he addressed the one that just yelled. "You'll have to take that up with the producer. We're just the crew; we have no say in the selection process."
So was anyone going to help him remove the spells on the barn? He didn't hear any other spells cast, so he'd take that as a no. Hopefully his own spell would be enough! He watched the muggles' state of confusion as they tried to leave, heaving a frustrated sigh. Great. Now what was he supposed to do?
Before Heath could formulate a plan B, Rosier's voice startled him. His heart rate quickened. Had Rosier been there the whole time? Panic-stricken dark eyes darted around the barn, and he saw the voice was coming from a piece of parchment, not the man himself. Wasting no time, he slipped out the barn door. He wanted to be as far away as possible when Rosier's "men" happened upon this scene of chaos!
