Classroom Expectations

Presentation. Professor Noble expects you to be on time, and with the correct equipment, including potion supplies, notetaking utensils and your textbook. Points will be taken if you fail to meet these requirements.
Dress. Please wear clean, smart uniform unless otherwise stated. You are also expected to own a pair of protective gloves (dragonhide is recommended) and wear them as necessary.
Respect. Please be respectful to both your Professor and your classmates. That includes raising your hand to answer questions, and using indoor voices at all times UNLESS there is an emergency and you need to attract Professor Noble’s attention.
Participation. Not everyone is a future potions master or mistress, and that’s okay. Professor Noble is looking for enthusiasm, perseverance and overall effort in his students, in addition to good results.
Open-door policy. If you are having problems, Professor Noble has an open-door office policy. Don’t hesitate to go see him if you need help.

Out of Character

All SS rules and SSRPG rules apply in the potions threads at ALL times.
Separation of IC and OOC. Professor Noble might come from Bethany’s brain, but his views aren’t necessarily the same as hers! In addition, IC offenses will be punished in IC ways (such as point loss/detention), and likewise, OOC rule breaking will be handled in OOC ways (warnings and infractions).
Please don’t plagiarise! Use any and all sources you want to (the SS archives, HP wiki, google...), but please use your own words and don’t just copy and paste.
If the lesson has already started, please feel free to jump on in. Pretend you’ve been there the whole time - catch up posts are always allowed. If you post yourself as late, expect IC repercussions.
